  • What the best way to export.

I have been using FCE for two years now and smooth sailing. Two years ago I made a DVD for 1 hour 30 mins long. Its been awhile since that project. im currently making another possible up to 2 hours.
    now my question.
Question #1. what is the best was to export the project file so i can use it for idvd? there is lots of options just want to make sure i get the right one. the DVD is for commerical sale just want it to be right.
Question #2. Would it be possible to export a project file to a video camera using FCE?
    thank jim.

1 - Normally the best way to export your project for iDVD is to export to *QuickTime Movie.* If iDVD is on the same computer as FCE, then you can export a QT reference movie (when you export, UNcheck the option called "Make Movie Self-Contained". Don't export to QuickTime Conversion if you plan to burn a DVD of your video.
However, before you export your sequence, do both of the following in FCE:
*Sequence > Render All > Both*
*Sequence > Render Only > Mixdown*
    Then save your project
    Then export
In iDVD you can put up to 2 hours on a single-layer DVD or up to 4 hours on a dual-layer DVD.
2 - You can record an FCE sequence back to tape if you are using a miniDV camcorder.

  • Whats the quickest way to export packages, tables etc from one enviroment

    Hi
whats the quickest way of more loads of packages, tables, indexes etc. from one enviroment to another?
I did some things in apex.oracle.com workspace to test apex now I want to move it across to my xe installation.

    Hello,
    2 'fast' options really -
    1) Export of application + Export/DataPump of schema
This works if you want a complete 'mirror' from one environment to another of the schema objects
    2) Supporting Objects
Bundle all your requirements together with the application export.
The Supporting Objects feature absolutely rocks and yet very very (very!) few people seem to use it.

  • What is the best way of exporting artboards from Illustrator for use in InDesign?

    Hi,
I have an artboard in Illustrator CS6 which contains some text with a scribble effect applied to it.  I would like to use this text in an InDesign CS6 document.  I am wondering what the best way of exporting/importing this artboard would be so that I get the best quality.
    Thanks,
    Nick

Save as an AI file with PDF compatibility enabled and the Document Raster Effects set to "High"; then use File>Place in ID.

  • What is the best way to export the data out of BW into a flat file on the S

    Hi All,
We are BW 7.01 (EHP 1, Service Pack Level 7).
As part of our BW project scope for our current release, we will be developing certain reports in BW, and for certain reports, the existing legacy reporting system based out of MS Access and the old version of Business Objects Release 2 would be used, with the needed data supplied from the BW system.
What is the best way to export the data out of BW into a flat file on the Server on regular intervals using a process chain?
    Thanks in advance,
    - Shashi

    Hello Shashi,
    some comments:
    1) An "open hub license" is required for all processes that extract data from BW to a non-SAP system (including APD). Please check with your SAP Account Executive for details.
    2) The limitation of 16 key fields is only valid when using open hub for extracting to a DB table. There's no such limitation when writing files.
    3) Open hub is the recommended solution since it's the easiest to implement, no programming is required, and you don't have to worry much about scaling with higher data volumes (APD and CRM BAPI are quite different in all of these aspects).
For completeness, here's the most recent documentation which also lists other options:

  • What is the easiest way to export all tables data from Oracle to MS SQL Server?

    Hello MS,
I would like to export all tables from Oracle 11.2 to MS SQL Server 2012 R1.
Using the tool "Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant v6.0 for Oracle" did not work for me because there are too many warnings and errors regarding the schema creation (MS cannot know it because they are not the schema designer). My idea is
to leave/skip the schema creation to the application designer/supplier and instead concentrate on the Oracle data export and MS SQL data import.
What is the easiest way to export all tables data from Oracle to MS SQL Server quickly?
    Is it:
    - the „MS SQL Import and Export Data“ Tool
    - the “MS SQL Integration Services” Tool
    - not Oracle dump *.dmp format because it is a propritery binary format
    - flat file *.csv (delimited format)
    Thanks!

    Hi lingodingo,
If you want to directly export all tables from Oracle database to SQL Server, I suggest you use SQL Server Import and Export Wizard. Because you just need to follow the wizard with GUI, this is the easiest way.
If you want to make some modification for the tables‘ data before loading to SQL Server, I suggest you use SQL Server Integration Services package. For more details, please refer to the following similar thread:

  • What could be the best way to Export data from 11.5.8 instance to 12.1.2?

    Hi All
What could be the best way to Export data from 11.5.8 instance to 12.1.2?
    Release: 11.5.8
OS: Oracle Solaris on SPARC (32-bit) verison 9
    DB: 9.2.0.1
    Thanks in advance

What kind of data you are looking to move?
Database export/import is only supported for full database export/import and the application release should be the same on the source/target nodes.
You can move the setup using iSetup or FNDLOAD.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • What is the best way to export a cutterline from photoshop?

What is the best way to export a cutterline from photoshop?
Wie exportiere ich am am besten einen Schnittlinie aus Photoshop? Ich bekomme von einem Wort immer nur den ersten Buchstaben exportiert, obwohl alles gerastert auf einer Ebene liegt.
    Thank you! Vielen Dank!

What are you talking about exactly?
If you need to export vector data Photoshop is not the first choice but if you have Type Layers (without faux styles), Vector Masks or Paths it is possible.
    alles gerastert auf einer Ebene
does not seem to make sense in this context though.

  • What is the best way to export a .csv/.txt file to a MS Windows shared folder via a scheduled job?

What is the best way to export a .csv/.txt file to a MS Windows shared folder, when the export process is a scheduled job?

You can't directly, as scheduled jobs can only export to server-side data stores, which can only write to the landing area. You'll need to use an external script (e.g. batch file) to move the file from the landingarea after export. You can use an external task in the scheduled job to invoke the script.

  • What is the best way to export a slideshow .I like to show my slideshows via appleTV on my TV

What is the best way to export a slideshow.I like to view  the show trough AppleTV on my television.

You don't really give us a lot of information to work with, and assume we know something about this mdeia player. The only way to get the slideshow to a media player is to export it from iPhoto. To where? Depends on the media player. Will iTunes work? Depends on the media player. Does the media player have a DVD drive? If so, then burning it to DVD with iDVD will work, but it will be standard def not HD.

What is the best way to export a photo from OS X Photos to Photoshop?

Just a note:  if you Option-drag the thumbnail to the Desktop you'll get the original file.  Regular dragging will get you the preview version or the edited version if it's been edited in Photos.

  • What is the best way to export a movie to avoid losing quality?

I need to get a movie I made on a DVD somehow, but I seem to loose quality in color and overall sharpness when I take it into iDVD and burn a disc. This movie will be projected very large, so I need the best quality possible. What is the best way to export it for the highest quality?

There's been a ton of testing reported here on this issue, but I don't think there is a consensus on the "best" method. For one thing, it depends on what you're starting with.
In my experience with DV video and hi-res photos, it was tough to beat the result I got exporting "large" to the media browser. (Because of my DV footage, HD was not an option.) This made a H.264 file. I could only get a slight improvement by exporting via Quicktime to a H.264 file at double the resolution of the "large" file made by iMovie. Of course this took longer to export and for iDVD to encode. Overall, I'd say it wasn't worth it for the barely visible improvement. That improvement was only detectable in the slides, BTW, not in the DV video.
Many recommend exporting to AIC, which should be an essentially lossless export out of iMovie. This is what the share to iDVD supposedly does, I got poor results with any flow that used an AIC file exported out of iMovie for use by iDVD. Never figured out why, but my results were always better if I compressed to H.264 on the way out of iMovie.

  • What is the best way to export for use on internet?

what is the best way to export for use on internet?

It depends. Is this for a personal web site or for a site like YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook?
For YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook, use Publish & Share/Computer/AVCHD using one of the YouTube presets.

  • What's the best way to export a 1280:720 mov file to high res wmv

Does anyone know the best way to export an HD 1280:720 Quick Time .mov to the highest possible res wmv?

fewer problems. It was a codec issue, I think regarding the latest codec. The solution, and it works for all the apps, was to make the frame divisible by 16 on all sides. It had to do with coding factors. But it worked. Since then, and the introduction of the iPad, we've dropped WMV altogether. We're now relying on Flash and MP4. MP4 is used in most places, particularly promos and marketing content. However, it's not at all easy to protect content from "redistribution" when using HTML5. It has a weakness in which it leaves a data trail that someone can follow back to the original video. Hmmm... so we code in a Flash wrapper, though I think my IT person may be using my MP4s for that. I'll have to check. Anyway, I'm down to mostly MP4 now.
