This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.

It keeps asking me to sync the ipod to this computer, but I'm scared to lose all my music. I want to transfer some of the music onto my iphone but I can't. You will need the help of some sort of 3rd party software to help you copy the content from your Shuffle back to your PC. Once you have done that, you can reimport this music into iTunes and configure it to sync to your new Shuffle.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

Did you installed ASK toolbar?

How can i make firefox open to home page instead of "new tab"? My setting are correct, but it will not open to the home page.

No matter what I do, Firefox will not open to my home page. It always "new tab".

You can try to delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] in case session restore tries to open an older session.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.

Reset it by holding the Power and Home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.

I downloaded the latest update and now there is just a plug showing Itunes on screen and it will not open the Ipad....

That means that it's gone into recovery mode. You will have to connect it by cable to your computer's iTunes and that should prompt you to reset it back to factory defaults, you can then restore to your backup (or just resync your content to it)

If you've already restarted both your iOS devices after the update and Numbers for iOS still won't load, you might try clearing the documents temporarily out of iCloud, opening the apps, closing them, and then placing the documents back in iCloud.
To do this, in Finder on your Mac, hold down the option key and then Go > Library > Mobile Documents > com~apple~Numbers. Move the documents there out to the Desktop or other location of your choosing. Then give iCloud time to sync. Then try opening Numbers on iPad and on the iPhone. If they open, then close them, and move the documents back into Library > Mobile Documents > com~apple~Numbers and let iCloud sync again.
That sometimes clears up the problem.

I am not sure this is a Firefox problem or not, but did not know where to go to get it solved. I am using a spreadsheet to find email addressess and I wanted to just click on the address to begin an email. But I keep getting the error message, Socket Error 11001, Error #0x800CCC0D

Just recently, Firefox has not allowed my Hotmail to open without first showing a banner that says Firefox will not open my program and I must hit the "Allow" button to get this open. Is there anything I can do about this?

I have been using Firefox for years with Hotmail as my e-mail provider with no trouble. Now I am getting messages that say some script is running; do I want to continue or cancel and then a brown message bar will appear asking me me manually allow the opening of Hotmail. A minor annoyance yet one I have not encountered until a few months ago and would like to fix.
