When I download photos, I right click on the photo, then "save as", the browse opens and I select a folder. I then have a number of problems usually only one at a time:
sometimes they come in a zip file, which I really don't know what to do with, so I have unzipped it to a picture folder which leaves an entire folder within a folder. That also leaves an empty zip folder in my pictures.
The craziest thing and most unwanted as well, is that although I have downloaded only a specific file, the folder fills with photos that I have only looked at in my browser...tons of them! Most are unrelated to each other as well as viewed on different dates.
Sometimes, the file extension is an unknown file type to me at times (sorry can't find an example).
I have only tried to download pictures from FaceBook to date.
I apologize for not understanding some computer basics - which probably are the causes of most of these problems. I have read most of the literature for Firefox, but a lot is above me.
I really hope that you can help me and that my LONG description and information is just a pain.

On the bottom bar of the window (on the left iPhoto 11, on the right in other versions) note the slider. Drag it left.

Run time prompts not appearing when launching BR from a right click menu
Hi!
I have a problem when trying to launch a business rule from a right click menu which is assigned to a dataform.
The rule launches but does not show/ask for the run time prompts as it should do. The run-time prompts should not be hidden (I checked also Eas and data form selections).
When using the rule form the Tools-Business Rules menu, the rule works fine. It prompts for the required variables and as they are filled in, the rule does what it is expected to.
Also, when using the same rule attached into a form (and selected "use members on form"&"run on save") the rule works correctly.
We are using version 11.1.2.1.
I already have tried restarting Planning services but without success.
What might cause this?

I found out from the Oracle knowledge base:
This issue is caused by unpublished Bug 11064867 - RIGHT CLICK MENUS NOT RENDERING RUN TIME PROMPTS
In version 931 run time prompts worked correctly when launching them from a right click menu, I checked this out.
In our current version I got this working (this is kind of a workaround) by adding a new RTP variable (using the same dimension as the original RTP variable). This way I got the rule to "ask for more information" (like what were you asking for? ) and not running the rule without interruptions. This instruction was given in Oracle support (knowledge base).

I keep getting this error message when I (right-click) on a photo file on my desktop to burn to a CD. I don't understand this code...does anyone? Thanks Ariel**: The disc can’t be burned because an unexpected error occurred (error code 0x80020000).
I tried every obvious solution to this problem with different types of disc (-R; +R; -RW and +RW) and the problem persisted. Then I read about removing a hyphen in picture filenames. I renamed all the images and bingo there were no further problems. Apple should have solved this by now. This error code has been reported for several years and my MacBook Pro is quite new. Anyway, I hope this helps. It does work.

Elements 11 freezes when I right click on a photo
About two weeks ago my elements 11 started freezing, blue spinning circle(program not responding), whenever I right clicked on a photo in the "open" window. I had an older version of photoshop on my computer and it started doing the same thing on that one as well. I uninstalled both and then reinstalled 11, still freezes. HELP!
Sounds like you installed something or had a driver update that's causing an issue. If you are on Windows then Control Panel / Programs will show when programs have been installed. Windows Update history may show if any drivers were updated.
Probably not relevant for Photoshop Elements, or there would be more reports, but in the Premiere Elements forums an awful lot of v10 users with nvidia GTX graphics cards are having problems with the most recent graphics driver update. They are solving those problems by restoring back to the previous version.
Do you have a system restore point from before the problem occurred you could go back to?

Can't Download Images with Right-Click on Mouse
I can't download images by right-clicking my mouse, like I do on my PC. For example, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Dakota and look at the images of the flag, state seal and map near the top right corner of the page...
When I place my cursor over any of these images on either my PC or my MacBook Pro, my cursor changes to a hand, indicating that the images are hyperlinked. If I right-click on an image, I can choose a SAVE AS command on my PC, but nothing happens on my MacBook Pro.
If I left-click on a linked image, it simply zooms in, rather than taking me to another page. I'm using a small Kensington mouse.
This could be a Firefox problem. I think I recall downloading some sort of extension that allows you to zoom in on images, and I suspect it's more or less taken over. If so, I'll have to track down the name of the extension and try and zap it.
But I thought I'd check here first, just to see if other people have this same problem - or if you can suggest alternate strategies for downloading images.

I just tried it, but I am using firefox 2.0 beta and I had no problems. Not sure what's going on. Have you tried any other pages or pics besides this one, which I don't think it would matter just wondering. -

my Macbook Pro (OSX 10.6.7 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) has started misbehaving on me. When I'm working, the cursor will start spontaneously moving to the in a straight line, and randomly right clicking on things.
If I close the computer and open it back up, it sometimes stops for a little while, then will spontaneously start again. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks!See this knowledge base article. If you blocked the image through an add-on, try right-clicking on an image on another website to find out the name of the add-on and open the add-on options to delete/disable the blocking rule. Where has the "Clean up" "Clean up by" option gone for organizing folders? I just upgraded to OS X Maverick today and noticed it was no longer a option when right clicking; also, it is grayed out in the view tab.

right click and press 'show view options'
then go to the arrange by and sort by options near the top and change them both to none
click save as defult at the bottom
then when you right click the clean up by options will now be there

The right click menu pops up after I push the right mouse button, instead of when I release it.
I am using an extension All-In-One Gestures. It works on my other installation of Firefox 4 - particularly, the right-click menu pops up if I click right mouse button and then release it so I can perform gesture or turn the wheel instead of getting a right click menu.
But on this installation (basically the same addons and OS), the right-click menu pops up on pushing down the right mouse button so the right-button+wheel gestures do not work, and the menu stays there while I am performing the gesture which is rather annoying.
So I though maybe there is some obscure configuration option to toggle to make right-click menu pop up after the button release? Or is this entirely the extension's fault? Note that it does work as expected on other installation...You have to enable in Firefox
-> Options -> Content -> Activate JavaScript (yes) -> More
-> Allow scripts the following actions
-> Inactivate or replace context menu (yes)
in order to allow All-in-one-Gesture to block the immediate appearance of the context menu.
If you forbid Firefox JavaScript and/or the manipulation of the context menu by use of JavaScript, All-in-one-Gesture cannot work properly. -
I have Iphoto '09, version 8.1.2 (424). I am having an identical problem. All my pictures are imported into Iphoto when I downloaded them from my camera. Until recently, I thought that the pictures were actually saved in the library. Since I need to crop my pictures for the web, and Iphoto doesn't do that, I purchased Photoshop Elements to do that. To my surprise, when I try to get a picture from Iphoto to Photoshop, it can't be done. That was when I realized, after wasting a lot of time, that the photos are not in the Iphoto library.
I started naming the pictures on Iphoto so I had a recognizable file name to open on Photoshop. Couldn't find it. I looked in the Backup folder and the Transfer software folder (I have a Nikon camera), and the names I entered in the Iphoto display, could not be found.
When I am trying to upload a photo to the web, I get the Finder folder showing with an active folder called "Photos" under "Media", which only displays Iphoto and PhotoBooth. This is a folder name that I cannot find in my HD anywhere when I look for it. If I edit a picture with Photoshop, I am not going to save it back to Iphoto (not sure whether it will work properly). How do I get my folder of edited photos to show when I want to upload a picture to the web?
Where (the name of the folder) do I find the pictures I see displayed on the Iphoto library, including any name changes, keywords added, and so on?See my response to your other post.

You should always have your apps on your computer. If you have failed to keep a copy of the old app versions, then you cannot get them back at all.

I recently purchased Foo Fighters Sonic Highways on iTunes. Where is the album artwork, liner notes and pictures? When purchasing/downloading entire album on iTunes, do you get this information with the purchase?
The album cover art should show on the album in the Music part of your library. For other pictures and/or notes, does the album description page in the store say that it's an iTunes LP (does it have an LP label against it in the store) ? If not then you will just get the tracks.
