When i enter my iPhone serial number in support section it says "this product has been replaced"! what does it mean?
***NOTE: I'm Iranian user***
It means the phone you have in your possession was replaced under warranty. If true, the phone should not have been re-sold. Rather it should have been sent back to Apple for refurbishment, where it would then have gotten a new SN.

What step should i take next.Where did you get the phone?
That phone was replaced by Apple or an AASP and was not returned to Apple as it should have been, or it was stolen from Apple or somewhere in the supply chain.
You can not get support from Apple for that phone.
Return it to wherever you got it and get your money back. -

bought this phone on ebay. buyer said iy was a replacemnet he got but when i put in the serial number it says that this phone is the one apple took???? makes no sence. i think somehow the serial numbers got stwtich
Serial numbers can't be switched.

If you just bought it, try to return it and get your money back. If you can't return it and it's working for you, great...
If you can't return it and it's not working, you'll either have to find a 3rd party repair shop or buy a new phone. Apple won't touch that one. -
I am a Creative Cloud subscriber and Acrobat XI Pro is asking for a serial number. When I enter my CC serial number, it indicates that the serial number is invalid

I don't know how that is possible, since Cloud accounts do not use a serial number... you download & install & activate Cloud programs with your Cloud log in to your paid account

This serial number is no longer valid for this product
Hi everyone, when I typed in my serial number for my design premium 5.5, it said "This serial number is no longer valid for this product". I purchased the product in 2011 and I installed it on my computer several times because I re-installed windows. I did not know that I need to deactivate and I could not do so any more because I had re-installed the windows....... How can I get my serial number and the product working?????? Thank you very much!

I'm getting an error message when I plug my iPhone 4 into my computer. It says, "This iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Moblie Device Service has not been started." What does this mean? I've never had this error before. It's also giving the same message with my iPod touch. Please help!

DanaGalYou can easily check whether you've the Apple Mobile Device in your computer.
Right click 'My Computer' , then Manage => Services and Applications => Services. Apple Mobile Device is listed in alphabetical order. If none, it means you've not download iTunes into your computer yet. If yes, please ensure the Apple Mobile Device is in 'Started' status.

New Iphone but OSA shown Product has been replaced.. STRANGE!
I (based Malaysia) got a iphone 3gs 32G as a present from my relative based at UK, she told me that the iphone is factory unlocked. after i got it, i try to insert local carries into iphone and when trying to activate it, I am getting an error from iTunes saying 'The sim card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported'. i then tried to check the status of warranty (IMEI) at Online Service Assistant. when i entered the IMEI number, status shown 'We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number'. i stunned with this status and i eventually call to UK apple care to inform the issue. they told me that the product has been replace due to original's screen was spoiled and replacement is claimed under warranty. they ask me to provide the receipt in order to confirm the ownership. Unfortunately, my relative has lost the receipt so i am afraid it would hinder the new replacement. I email the apple representative but he seems do not entertain my claim despite i could prove the iphone still in new in box.
Is that possible apple will produce two different iphone with same IMEI? i just wonder how could my iphone has been replace? any suggestion?
I sent several emails to apple care consultant but got no reply from him. anyone out there could advise me what to do?If relative purchased phone with credit/debit card, issuing bank should be able to provide copy of receipt. If relative is setup to do banking on line, relative may be able to download copy of receipt without contacting bank. If purchase was cash, retailer may be able to search its records if time and date are known; retailer may have no desire to do so and probably is under no obligation to comply. Photograph box showing iPhone serial # & IMEI and email as attachment to Applecare consultant to see if that will help your claim. If all else fails, return iPhone to relative in UK and have her deal with seller.
