When I'm on an app sometimes my ipod shuts off the app and brings me back to the home screen. Whats wrong with it?

It only happens on some apps but sometimes it will shut off and bring me to the home screen i think its happened while im using safari on my ipod to.

It can happen from time to time, especially with third-party apps, though shouldn't happen too often with the ones created by Apple, such as Safari. Turning your iPod completely off and then on again can sometimes help.

I am having the same issue. And today, I noticed that when I was talking on the phone, the volume went down low. I had to reboot the phone, so that the volume was up again. Mostly, though, it's my music that I am having issues with.

Why when I tap on a downloaded game on my Ipad does it start the game and then go back to the opening apps page

I tap on the app for a game I have downloaded onto my Ipad and the game starts loading then goes back to the opening app page on the Ipad. Any suggestions? I tried Ssyncing with iTunes to see if there was a download listed there but there isn't anything to be downloaded.

It is driving me insane!! I have deleted apps, tried restoring it(which helps for a little bit) but to be in the middle of doing something and have to start all over...gggrrrrr! Anyone have any solutions??

Is this only certain apps in particular or any of them? If it's all of your apps, try downloading and installing a free app from the App Store.
Otherwise, try a hard reset of the device to see if that helps. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

If you restore from a previous backup, it may be necessary to restore to factory defaults as restoring from backup can sometimes restore some of the corrupted data.

When I add songs to my iPod, they go on there. But when I disconnect my iPod from the computer and plug it back in the songs never stay on there. How can I fix this?

Just recently I've noticed my apps wasn't working, they would just blink and then exit out. So I searched on here to find out what I should do, and I seen that someone said to restore the iPod. I did just so, but before I did I made sure I backed it up so I still had my files. But when I plugged it in there was no option of restoring from backup. I didn't know why, but I just added all of my old songs from before. However, when I unplug it (after my songs have been added) and plug it back in.. My songs aren't there anymore! This is very frustrating because it's done this to me 3 times and I'm not sure what to do.

The same thing happened to me when I updated to the new software when iPhone 4S came out.

I have a problem with a apple ibook g4 I bought 2 weeks ago
from ebay. It had tiger and I installed leopard on it and it had been
working perfectly for about a 2 weeks. There was nothing wrong using
tiger except it did not remember my settings. I would have set up my
email or itunes everytime the computer started. I wanted the updated
leopard so I installed that and it fixed the memory problems. After
that it worked great with no problems at all for a week, until now. Here is my problem when I start my
ibook it starts up with a blue screen instead of the grey screen. This all started when I closed the top and
put it in sleep mode when I opened it back up when it came out of
sleep mode the screen looked funny colored and a little
fuzzy. I have shut the top down and opened it hours later and it never did this before. Sometimes it will flash in and out of the funny colors to normal
look and other times it will stay that weird fuzzy off looking color. And it will start and sometimes flash between funny
looking to normal and then switch to normal color. I had no problems
with it doing this until 2 days ago. I am sending you
this email using my ibook g4 and it looks normal right now for a few seconds then it flashs a little and goes back to that weird screen. This
morning when I first started it up it went weird colored a little then
back to normal and stayed normal for about 1 minute. Yesterday when I was using it I saw
a quick blue colored flash once in a while as it looked normal other then the flash then went to the strange colors. It has never done this
before either until 2 days ago. My battery does not set
flush in the case but I don't think that would be a problem. My Ibook
is the 14" version with 1.42 Ghz PPC 7450 chip and 1 Gb memory. This
is my 1st apple and not as familiar with it as windows. What do you
think is wrong with it? It worked so good up until now. I would hate
to just junk it I just bought it. I have heard it coulod be the logic board. Does anybody have a clue what is wrong? Any help would be VERY much appreciated. Thank You, Jim

It does sound like the logic board. It's not uncommon for an iBook with a faulty logic board to work intermittently. You can't count on it, though. It could fail completely at any time.
DT&T Computer Services in Fremont, California has the best deal I've found on logic board replacements. They do free diagnostics, so they would make sure that's what you need, and there is a six-month warranty on the repair.

I'm always a little sad that people are basing their opinions of Macs on these older iBooks. Yours is the newest iBook in existence, but it's still over five years old — ancient in computer terms.

I got the new IOS 7 update (I have an iPhone 5) and I can't get on my iTunes app. Everytime I click the iTunes app it crashes and takes me back to my home screen. I literally am on the app less than a second before it glitches and crashes.

This happened once before, but i fixed it by shutting my phone off and turning it back on. However that doesnt seem to work this time and i would like to buy some songs, except the itunes app keeps crashing Please help!

I'm on my 4th iPhone 3gs. Every time I restore it the phone icon is unresponsive so I can't make calls and my apps crash and bring me back to the home screen. Does anyone else have this problem?

Could this be a problem with iTunes on my computer? It works fine until I sync my phone, then the problem starts again. Sounds like the backup you're using to restore from is corrupt. Restoring from a corrupt backup will continue to restore the problem. I'd suggest you start fresh and delete all of your current iPhone backups(there should only be one). You can delete them here: iTunes>Preferences>Devices.

Try to Reset your device.

If you no longer have the phone or have any Backup of it at all, you can re-download your apps and your content from the iTunes Store by logging into your Apple ID at settings> iTunes & App Store. Unfortunately you can no longer recover the data that was associated with those apps.
So far as your photos go, you can recover any photos that were in photo stream and taken less than 30 days ago by logging in with your Apple ID to settings> iCloud> photos. Unfortunately you will be unable to recover any photos from your camera roll.

Using the 5th generation iPod. Purchased it a few months ago before the new one was launched. Yes the workout randomly ends when I am no where near the time or distance I have programmed in. I keep tried to restart the workout and the same thing keeps happening over and over again. I figured it may have been the headphones but I have even tried holding the headphone connection in place, and different headphones as well and it continues to happen.
