When I open a new tab the system startes to open a web site with the name of funmoods search. How can I change back to a blank tab?
When I click on the + sign to open a new tab it was opening to a blank window, Today it started to opening to a web site called funmoods search. I would like to restore to where it comes up blank. Please help! Thanks Dan

You may have to change the setting in the application itself or disable the app in '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Add-ons''', click '''Extensions''' on the left. I'm editing a 24 page booklet which was done about a year ago in another version of Pages. When I open it now in Pages 5.0.1 it comes up as single pages. My question is how do I get it back to a facing pages format to give to the printer?
Export to Pages 09 and use that. Version 5.1 lacks the ability to use alternating left/right margins and many,many other features that are present in Pages 09. Pages 5.1 adds back a vertical ruler ( why ever was it omitted?) but still lacks about 90--that's nine zero, as in "nearly 100"-- features that were in Pages 09. When I open a new tab, the new tab used to show shots of 6 or so of the last sites I'd viewed, so I could easily click on one and go to it. Now it shows a blank tab and I have to type the URL of the page I want. How can I change it back?

When I create a New Folder (on the desktop or in Finder), the system uses the Generic Document Icon instead of the Generic Folder Icon. How can I change this back?
All of a sudden I noticed that most of the folders on my computer were no longer using the folder icon, but the generic document icon. I had to manually change back the icon being used by opening Get Info for each folder and copying and pasting the generic folder icon from some folders that remained unchanged. Now whenever I create a New Folder (right click -> "New Folder"), the icon that shows up is the generic document icon (white page with top right corner turned down). And I have to manually change it so it shows up as a folder in Finder or on my desktop. I don't know why or how this switch happened. All of the folders now on my computer look ok, but I need to change the default so when I create a New Folder it uses the correct icon.
I have also Forced Relaunch of my Finder and rebooted the system. I downloaded Candybar but am not sure what will fix anything, so I haven't proceeded.
Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks.Anyone?

I have both Photoshop 4 and Photoshop 6 on my computer. When I am in Bridge and want to open an image by double clicking, it automatically opens in 6. I see, when I go to "open with" 6 is listed as "default" How can I change the default to open an image with a double click in 4?
You can associate files from the Bridge level and the Desktop level.
In Bridge CS4, go to Preferences > File Type Associations and change it to Photoshop CS4 for the file types you want.

I'm using the Motorola Atrix smart phone with the Laptop Dock. When I open a web page with Firefox I have to hit "Ctl +" three times to make the page fill the screen. Is there any way to set up the Firefox browser to open the web pages the right size in the first place?
The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

All photos in portrait format are displayed blurred in the preview mode "fill" of the library. In all other modes e.g. "fit"or "1:2" the photos are sharp. How can I change this, so that the photos are still sharp when displaying them in the mode "fill"? My Lightroom release is 5.7.1.
Thanking you in anticipation!I'd like to get all these '-1 suffix' files together with their associated Develop adjustments into one folder (if they aren't already) so I can see them in Grid view in the Library module, which I use as my basic starting point for everything else at this early stage of my Lightroom 'career'.
To see what folder these are stored in, right-click on a photo and select "Go to Folder in Library".
Advice: if you are going to use Lightroom effectively, you probably want to stop using folders as your method to create a grouping of photos that are already in Lightroom; there are plenty of built-in tools, such as keywords, collections, color labels, etc.
I don't understand why the search on the entire catalog picked up apparently the same two file versions but also got the Develop adjustments when going to the relevant Folder didn't show the adjustment black squares against each image in Grid view nor were they there when the images were opened in the Develop module. Perhaps if I understood this, I'd be a bit more confident of moving forward myself.
These are most likely different versions of the same photo, in different folders. Lightroom stores the edits in its own catalog, and so it knows that one folder's photos have edits, and the other folder's photos do not have edits. Please understand that Lightroom is a database, it knows where the photos are at the time you import them (or add them to the catalog by synchronize), and then if you move things around in your operating system, Lightroom does not know anything about that and problems begin. Thus the advice to organize using Lightroom tools and methods and not operating system tools and methods. -

How can I move columns in Numbers without distorting the formula in other cells? In Excel I can cut and paste entire columns and the formula in other cells adjusts accordingly. When I do it in Numbers, the formula messes up. How can I do this?
For example: I have formulas in columns D and F that relate to columns C to CU
If I want to move one column from one position to another (say S to T), the formula loses the colums that was moved, i.e. it doesn't recognize it has moved, rather sees it as deleted... How can I do this without distorting the formula?Thanks for the feedback.

Searching infos in the iBooks Author documentation available on line is awfully cumbersome and a lot of embedded links are wrongly flagged this way. In the Help files they aren't links but underlined strings.
It seems that the tool used to generate the web pages was wrongly configured.

You haven't mentioned if the iPhone is in Chinese or just the Region Format.
I'll try to help the as if the navigation is being done in Chinese. Usually you need access to another device so you can navigate in a language that you understand.
Go to Settings>General. If the iPhone is still in Chinese, you can still navigate to two just by following the settings icon.
Scroll all the way to the bottom. The bar standing alone at the bottom is "Reset," avoid that. Look at the group of topics just above the reset bar. The second from the bottom is "Intrernational." tap that.
There are two groups of topics, three above and two below. Focus on the two below and select the top one of those two.
Again, if the iPhone is in a laguage you cannot read, you may need to do some experimentation. You're looking for the words "United States," but you may need to settle for anything that uses a character set that you understand. Select ity and you you be able to navigate the rest.
