When I sync my iphone, a book title showsup in itunes; when I disconnect, I can't see the book on my phone.
The last time I synched my phone, a book title showed up under the iphone icon in "books"; when I disconnected, I couldn't find the book on my iphone. It doesn't live on my computer, so how can I access it? I tried searching for it on my iphone with no luck.

Why don't you just restore the to your pc from your most recent backup? You'll get the warning about erasing the media on the phone, but since you'll have all of your media and apps restored from backup, you shouldn't have much of a problem.

I'm burning cd's to itunes on my PC and can't see the albums I've burned in itunes on my ipad or iphone, why?

every time that i sync my iphone with a cord to my imac some large portion of my music is placed in the cloud so that i must down load it from the cloud. this includes music that i have purchased on itunes and other music. it seems random.

I assume that you are in the iBooks app on your iPad ? If you are, and you've just bought the books and are still viewing the store, then tap the Library button at the top left of the store and you should be taken back to the bookshelf in the app where your downloaded and/or synced books should show - tap a book on that bookshelf to open it

When you open a mac pdf file in Acrobat 9.5 and add pages where can you see the new file size?
This isn't known until you actually save the file. The size will also depend on how you save.
File > Save - always bigger, nothing ever deleted
File > Save as - dead stuff removed
File > Save as with Fast Web View (may be default) - duplicate backgrouds combined, but extra information added for web view
So, save it, then use command+D to get info. -

You look at when you can sect various ringtones for an alert or similar. Like if you go to a contact and tap on edit and then go to ringtone you should see the added tone as a selection

Hi- I keep getting an error message show up when I sync my iPhone to my Mac Book Pro. the message is that I can't copy to the Macintosh disc because I don' have enough access privileges. Then when I click ok my phone gets stuck syncing. any thoughts?
Sounds like a possible permissions issue, try repairing the permissions using Disk Utility.
You can open Disk Utility several ways.
1. Use the Spotlight in the Upper Right corner of the screen and search for it, then click it to open it.
2. Open a new finder window (File> New Window)
- Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility
3. Click on the Finder
- Click 'Go' in the menu bar across the top of the screen.
- Click Utilities, then double click on Disk Utility.
Once Disk Utility is open there should be a column on the left side, the name of your hard drive should be listed there.
(By Default it is named Mac HD or Macintosh HD)
Click on it to highlight it.
There should then be a few buttons you can click
- Verify Disk Permissions
- Repair Disk Permissions
- Verify Disk
- Repair Disk
Click Repair Disk Permissions -

I am using latest version of iOS (5.0.1) and iPhone 4.
My question is stated in the title. I wish to sync iTunes according to my current iPhone settings (i.e. backup my current settings from my iPhone to iTunes), not reinstall apps which I have already deleted.
But when I "sync" my iphone with iTunes, apps which I deleted since the previous backup suddenly appeared in my iPhone.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks.When you sync your phone check the Apps tab in your iTunes sync settings (not the Apps folder under Library on the left sidebar) and confirm that the apps you don't want on your phone are unchecked prior to syncing.

I can't see the photo tab when trying to sync my iphone from itunes
For some reason, all the tabs are not showing on itunes when trying to sync my iphone. The 'photos' tab in particular is missing. It shows I can scroll to the right to possibly see the rest of the tabs, but when I scroll across to the right, it moves the whole page across, but nothing from itunes moves across with the page. Sorry, it's hard to explain. I hope you can help.
