When I try to do anything with the App store I get the message "Cannot connect to the iTunes Store". I have internet connections and I have tried resetting the password.

I cannot connect to the iTunes store for any purpose. When I try I get the message: "Cannot connect to the iTunes Store". That is all. I have tried a lot of different things except , obviously, the correct thing.
