When i was trying to update the apps of my iPad, my sis account pop up, not mine. The only problem is that she disabled her account, so i cant update. I tryed log out and log in again, but it did'nt worked. Please help!

I am about to buy and iphone 4, its second hand and is in amazing condition. The only problem is that the 'wi-fi' button doesn't not work. I tried to click on it but nothing responds. Can this be fixed? Should i still purchase it?
while you are with the person selling it to you, ask if you can do a complete restore of the software settings->general->reset->reset all
reboot the phone to factory settings and see if that fixes the problem. if not, i wouldn't buy it unless they are selling it to you for less than $50. wifi is crucial for keeping data low and using features like facetime -
When I click on anything in the F/fox newsletter that takes me to Google Play, it shows it in French. I have a French ISP but my registered preference is for English. What do I do to have Google Play material appear in English ?

Iphoto won't display photos or run a slideshow - just a black screen. Can't see photos to edit etc. Thumbnails all OK and all else seems visible in the usual way etc. Tried rebuilding library and reset Mac Air but no result. Ideas please!!!!

When you rebuild the library did you rebuild the database? Also did you repair the library's permissions? Is this the First Aid window that you got?
Those are the two options to use.
Here's another fix you can try:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.>Click on the Add Library button,
2 - select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
3 - make sure that in the rebuild window the checkbox "Scavange orphaned photos" is checked.
4 - now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
5 - in the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed. Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.
You'll have to recreate your slideshow after using this method. -
I recently got a new Macbook Pro with OS X 10.9.1
A free upgrade was done and included Pages, Keynote, Numbers. The only problem is that I cant send Keynote files i.e with extension .key through gmail. Even compressing the files doesnt solve the issue.

After reading other posts on this and similar boards, I tried Pages and Numbers and can't send those files to a gmail recipient either.
I can send to other eMail addresses I've tested however, it seems to be isolated to gMail accounts.

I was using my iPad 3 awhile ago when it just blacked out and now it won't start. Can anyone please help me fix it?
Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

My sound usually works but just yesterday it totally just stopped. The sound is turned on full, the headphones are out, and I've tried turning it off then back on but it didn't help at all. It's an iPod touch 2nd generation, 8G.
Try the following to rule out a software probleM
- Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

I need help! I downloaded iOS 5 on my iPod 3rd generation after backing EVERYTHIGN up 4 times and I think I might have synced it. But just forget that I synced anything. So then when I tried to Restore Back-up it DID NOT work. This was my first time using iTunes, and I ALWAYS download throught the APP store. So then I found the fix online. I actually found 3 different ways:
A). Go to the App store and then go to 'UPDATES' then go to Purchased and download everything you need.
- This didn't work for halfmy apps.
B). Go to the iTunes store, go to File > Sync iPod then wait a LOOOOOOOOONG time.
- This also did not work, and not just in the case of my missing apps, all my apps were just sitting there. Nothing happened. I deemed this as USELESS.
C). I have a premonition that this option should work, but I can't find it. I have to go to the SUMMARY tab under device settings then click restore. The onlyproblem is, I CAN'T FIND IT! It probably should work.
BOTTOM LINE: Some of my favorite Apps such as Angy Birds and Madden NFL '11 are now gone. I have no idea what happened. And my backed-up iPod on iTunes only has like 14 apps out of 100sof Apps.
PLEASE HELP - SLL ANSWERS GET 5 POINTSHave you looked on all the pages of your iPod? Have you looked in all your folders? Have you you tried finding the apps using the iPod's search page.

I have been having problems with my email, (Myway,) for a few days. Today it would not open at all. I continued to try and got a message saying the pages had been redone and some pages were no longer available . I tried IE and it opened, I then tried Google Chrome it opened alright. I prefer to use Firefox but if I can't access my mail I will have to change browsers for everything..
