When taking a picture on an Iphone 5, why does the picture go back to the iphone 4 size?
I was just wondering if the photo on an iPhone 5 was supposed to save as a smaller size like the size from and iPhone 4 or is there a way to change that?
Do you mean number of pixels or that the photo is not widescreen like the screen?
If the later then if the lense and optics are that ratio forcing it into widescreen would mean cutting away from the top and bottom of the image

Might be a dirty dock connector on your phone. Try gently brushing it with a clean, dry toothbrush and/or blowing on it with a can of compressed air.

Why does it bring me back to the top page when I click on the open pages?
When I have Pages open and I am typing on it, If I go onto another program when I click onto Pages it brings me to the top page when I was at a lower part.
Probably depends where you click when you go back to PAges.

Why does my folders resize back to a small 6x4" window when reopening?
When i re-open a folder like 'Documents', why does it resize itself back to a small 6x4" window. Can someone educate me how to get it to memorise the window to open the size it was closed?
Many thanks.I suspect you may be a recent convert from MS Windows, if so you are used to the way Windows works which is different from OS X. Howerver you can download a utility that should help if you prefer the MS Windows method. It's called RightZoom and is available from www.macupdate.com

When you see the old number come up in the suggested choices look for a blue arrow to the right of the Contact. Tap the blue arrow and then tap Remove from Recents.

When iOS 6.0 updating my iPhone and connecting my iPhone to iTunes the only option I have, is to restore my iPhone. But ufortunately, I did not back up my iPhone before the updating. Is there any way I can avoid the restoring process?
Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...

I have rearranged all icons on the second and third pages to have a just a photo on my home, but if i switch off the iphone when i restarted it all the icons come back in the old position on the home and second page. I have ios5.

And it is only a problem if you want a blank first screen. Personally, it would drive me nuts always having to swipe over one page to get to my apps - the only time I unlock my iPhone is to use it or run an app, so no, I have no need nor desire to have a first screen with no icons at all.
But, if they'd put it in as an option so people like yourself can also have what they want, that's fine too So send them your feedback (they actually do listen - iOS 5 includes a number of things people have been asking for on these forums, like being able to delete individual entries from the call history, inproved alerts/notifications, being able to opt out of all the location based data they collect,...). -
when i try to update to 6.0, itunes says "itunes could not back up the iphone "****** iphone" because a session could not be started with the iPhone? help?
i hope you have 30 dollars to blow on top of what you already spent on your ipod....because thats what apple wants to answer your question ...if its out of warranty

Welcome to our family. We want you to be able to enjoy all the services we provide and we definitely need to address this. Do you receive/make calls without problems? Are you able to receive messages with your contacts' number? Are you using iMessages? If so, go to Settings>Messages>Send&Receive>only your phone number should be enabled.

Had to buy a new PC as the hard disk of the old one broke and lost all purchases, but still have them on the iPhone. How can I sync them back to the new PC in iTunes without losing them?
You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

I'm trying to move my photos from my iphone to my PC, every time I go to my Computer it comes up with PhotoStream and iPhone , unfortunately this does that have all my photos from iPhone in it. Can anyone help me?

ThanksThanks for that, on the sync via iTunes, when my iphone is connected to iTunes via USB my photos tab says my iphone but I can never see any pics there. If I press Sync it still doesn't show anything.
Correction from my original post, it only comes up with PhotoStream on my computer when I'm connected via USB. -

I must apologize as I misread your post. I though that you were talking about Safari bookmarks but you post does clearly state iBooks bookmarks.
You may want to just try restarting both devices and see if that helps. One other thing that you could try is quit iBooks on both devices and then launch it again and see if the bookmarks are synced when you relaunch. -
I choose to restore from a safety backup in iTunes. It works ok, but iTunes is still asking to restore the iPhone. Why can't I get to syncronise the phone?
I can't get the menue I am used to in iTunes. It only states "Klargjør iPhone" (Norwegian). Something like "Start up your iPhone". How to clear text fields when the user navigates back to the screen

Does anyone have any idea on how to clear the text input fields and dropdown boxes when the user navigates back to the screen, say for e.g. create screen?
My issue is that i have plenty of fields in the create screen within a form. Is there a way to avoid programaticaly blanking out every field and just do it at the form level using an api to reset to a state before the user entry?
ThanksThis code allows you to make it more generic, and you would need to tweak it if there are more than TextInput controls, but it should provide some ideas.
As far as using states, you could use SetProperty to set the text to empty, but that might be messier.

when i play back an mp3 dj mix i,ve burn,t to cd in my car when i turn the engine of and then restart the car the cd starts back from the beginning how do i solve this problem so that when i turn the engine on end off the cd plays from the same place it did before i turned the engine off
It could be that the CD player will only playback "Redbook" CD's from the previous position.
And starts mp3 type CD's from the beginnig.
However.. it's not Logic related.
