When will that stupid adobe flash be removed from mozilla?
I am tired of that thing crashing on me all the time. Can anyone give some info as to when to expect a html player or anything else to take the place of that stupid flash. I´m angry as a ****.

Since Flash is an Adobe product, yes, it would be up to Adobe to create it (unless Apple licensed it but that won't happen). Adobe has ceased development of Flash for all mobile devices. -

It's highly unlikely that Apple will ever support Adobe Flash. Apple supports another standard for video and refuses to, even temporarily, compromise. That' s one of the downsides to going with the iPhone or iPad over other devices.

I had hoped the Adobe Flash would be included with this newest update ! Anyone have any ideas about when we might finally get some flash for our phones ? I've just recieved the 1.4.5 update to my Web OS and I've checked the app catalog , but alas , no freakin flash 10.1 ! This Flash 10.1 has been promised for quite some time now.....

jwill758Palm has indeed included flash support in it's webOS 2.x software, however even if we get that update on the Pre Plus they likely won't enable it. My understanding is that they initially held back the 2.x software update because the Pre Plus can't handle it very well, so adding flash will only make it worse.

My website requires Adobe Flash Player to be installed to view images in my photo gallery. Why doesn't Mozilla Firefox support Adobe Flash Player? Will it be available in the very near future? This is an extremely important feature for my site.
Firefox can use Flash if it is on your device, although this may not always work perfectly. But Firefox never comes with Flash bundled in (I think this is due to Firefox using an open source software license).

Regarding the design of your gallery, how does it work on Apple iOS devices that can't run Flash due to Apple policies? Maybe there's a similar "fallback" technique that can work on Firefox for Android if the user hasn't installed Flash. -

When will you fix adobe flash?
Flash keeps crashing my browser and causing huge lag times. I must use Blackboard collaborate and I noticed that my instructors computer was exhibiting the same symptoms. Get your act together. start addressing your crash reports. Don't release crap and then fix it at my expense. Be professional.
A lot of the time you are getting the settings because that is the way the author set it up. In general, you get what the author sets or the defaults in the program. You have some choice of selections in the preferences and that is it. You sure are complaining a lot for having spent no money on a product. Actually there is Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat. There has not been an Adobe Acrobat Reader for almost 10 years.
In contrast, there are all sorts of problems with WORD also. Forms in WORD often have problems related to changing page size and such unless you are using the defaults in WORD 2007 (basically turning off printer metrics) and as far as I know you can not submit a WORD form. So there are pros and cons to all software. In terms of the handtool, it is usually on by default. That is why one individual ask what you right clicked on the document for and then selected the handtool. We all have issues with part of Acrobat (what this forum is about), but it meets a lot of needs better than other products.
If you want to request changes, then you need to be sure you are using the product correctly and then address the problems to Adobe, not to users of a different product. We (or better the Reader forum) would be glad to try to help you use the product correctly or solve problems. That is why these forums exist.

By the way I also heard that FFv11 or v12 will have its own speed dial if so will it be like Josep del Rio's speed dial extension by that I mean were its fully customizable for example you could add new groups or decide how many rows/columns you want to have.

When trying up date adobe flash player from 10.1.102.64 to new version 10.2.152.26 i get an error message, "Installer will automatically continue when those conflicting applications are closed: [circle w/line through it] Mozilla firefox."
Save the Flash installer to the desktop and close Firefox via File > Exit Firefox.<br />

I download Adobe Flash but it doesn't install. Each time I encounter something that needs Adobe Flash it tells me I don't have it. I am getting tired downloading it and then it isn't there.

Those are the ones you downloaded. Ten times, apparently. Since install_flash_player_10_osx.dmg already existed, the next download was appended with -1. The next -2, etc. They'll all be identical, so it doesn't matter which one you use. Though I'd go with the last one as it may be a slightly updated version from the first download, depending on how long ago you did the first one.
A .dmg file is a Disk Image. When you double click them, they open up a pseudo drive on the desktop. When you open one of these ten items, the Flash installer will appear in a file window. Run it to install Flash. Then close the file window (displaying from the psuedo drive) and then put the "drive" in the trash to dismount it. You can then delete all of those.
Looks like you also downloaded the Adobe Reader twice. Versions 10.1.2 and 10.1.3. Also Skype, whatever the Thomson thing is, and an unnecessary Flash uninstaller (the Flash installer will put an uninstaller in the Utilities folder). -
Is there something I should be aware of when attempting to run Adobe Flash (application/x-shockwave-flash)?
I've been on a couple websites that tell me that I should download the above mentioned plugin. BUT when I click for it to be installed, I receive the mesage "No suitable plugins were found". I remember some comments about Flashplayer (?) being a problem and I don't want to screw things up. I'm running OS X 10.7.4.
