No, the app store will be out when the iPhone Firmware 2.0 is released. The 2nd gen phone is to be released "some time in 2008" not necessarily when the 2.0 update is released. However, Apple has been letting stock of the 1st gen iPhone draw down so you can make your own conclusions.

When they have deliveries. And that depends on which Apple Store in which country.
As you haven't mentioned which country you are in, it's a little difficult to advise further, but some countries are offering an online reservation, pick up in-store system now.

Didn't you already ask this question and get a response? This bundle hasn't been around for quite a while already, and you have been told that there is currently no information about it being made available again, which probably means it won't be after this long of not being stocked. There are newer games coming out that there will probably be bundles with instead.

When will the App store be expanded to more countries?

I have a pre2 and love the gizmo, but the **bleep** issue is that I'm in a country that does not allow to buy via the app store. It seems Belgium is a 3rd world country.
This is extremely annoying, as in most of the lite versions of the programs you can not exceed a number of storags capacities.
And i want to upgrade them but it is simply not possible.
Are there any plans to expand the number of countries and so yes when will this be and what list of countries would that be?

Purchased my Pre in october 2009 and little did I know that I still would be without paid apps in 2011.
Sure I feel neglected but webOS is still amazing and its not like there is a good alternative out there. Can't wait for the new devices to launch as that will hopefully be done on a wider scale and give support to more countries. Now, bring us some Pre3's and Touchpads to Scandinavia, please.

When will the itunes store update my podcast episodes?

Well, here it is a month now, and iTunes is still not updating my recent episodes in the iTunes store. Yes, I know Subscribers can still get the episodes, and they show on my Podcast App, but for people searching for new Podcasts to listen to, they can't get my most recent (and better) episodes to listen to. I have sent two emails to the podcasts at apple address, and no reply. I see most podcasts have new episodes showing, and now I'm just getting ****** off about it. The fact the engineers 'know about it' and are 'working on it', does little to pacify me after an entire month of this being messed up.
What to do next? I've been patient and trying to wait it out knowing 'eventually' it will be fixed, but for brand new Podcasts this is a very important issue.

I had this problem too, wrote apple and no reply. Finally I wrote libsyn (where my podcasts are stored) and they replied within a day and also contacted iTunes for me and asked them to manually add my last two episodes. iTunes did that within a couple of days, but it took a couple more days for iTunes to show that anyone was downloading those episodes.
Another problem is that I had been on new and noteworthy for my main category and sub-category before. Those usually update pretty regularly too I think - not sure because i only checked them a couple times a week before I started having these problems. Even though I had twice as many downloads yesterday (430) than normal, it didn't change my standing at all on the new and noteworthy chart. I'm in my subcategory, but haven't made it back up to the main category I'm thinking because of this glitch.
If you have any thoughts on whether or not this is affecting our standings in the categories, Roger, I would love to hear them. I wish the App Store had a wish list to mark apps for a later download. Many apps get better with later versions and it would be helpful to keep track of interesting ones. Anyone agree?

Hey, I wonder when I'll be able to send my uncle to his local Apple store in the US, to get me a brand new iPhone?
Also, in my country the providers do not support LTE technology, so just to be sure, I shouldn't worry about buying it from a different country, right?
I'm trying to get the new iPhone in the US because of the low price.. In my country, it will arrive until about Jan. 2013, and it will cost about 5000NIS(About 1,300USD)

Until Apple announces the availability of unlocked iPhones in the US, no one here would have any way of knowing when it will be available.
Keep in mind that if you do purchase a US iPhone, warranty and support are ONLY valid in the US.

When will the iTunes store be fixed?

For the past few days I have not been able to login into my itunes store, which has kept me from downloading new music and enjoying myself. I know that other people are having a similar problem (error 5002), but there has been no response for when it's going to be fixed. If anybody has new info please let me know, especially if you work at Apple! thanks

for well over a month i have pretty much pulled all my hair out over not being able to open the store. this week i finally got on, but that didn't last long and went down again while itunes was still open. but today it was great, fast connection right away, so i bought some things. then when i had to restart my computer, yet again no luck opening the store.
however, i found that if i restart my computer, it will open eventually. so i just shut down and restart until i get itunes to open. i am computer illerate, and haven't attempted any of the fixes noted here on the boards. but since SO many people have issues i wish apple would at least acknowlege the problem. sigh

Unfortunately, I have the same answer for you. No one would know. With a backorder, the supplier is having trouble sending more. Hopefully they will be able to send more, and hopefully it will come quickly.

You can find unlocked iphone 5's at any Retail Store. I've just got mine from the store by 5th avenue 3 days ago.
They're saying to be not sure why it wasn't announced yet.
