Your wifi problem sounds very much like the problem I had. The wifi would drop out, the icon showed it was still connected. If I turned it off, I couldn't turn it back on. Another user here pointed me to the problem, which was the wifi cable (the flat cable goint from the card to the motherboard). I found it on ebay for $13 and it's been running fine since I replaced it. This is the repair guide for your machine. The part number will be on there if you click the link.

I changed my AppleID / email address after my old email expired, and now whenever I go to sign into iCloud on my computer it still shows my OLD AppleID in the log-in and it won't let me change it. So I can't sign into iCloud! I can still sign into iTunes though from my iPhone and laptop, but iCloud isn't working anymore, where do I go to update my AppleID in the log-in for iCloud???

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

I had the same problem as well as problem signing in to both iMessage and Facetime (didn't want to activate my apple id).
I solved it by...
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer, and the most recent version of iOS installed on your phone.
Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. Click the File menu in iTunes, then select Devices > Back Up, and click on Back Up Now.
To make sure the backup is complete, open the iTunes Preferences menu and click on the Devices tab. The name of your phone and the time of backup should appear. Once verified, disconnect the phone from your computer.
Once you’re all backed up, turn on your new phone and complete the setup assistant. When you reach the screen that says Set Up iPhone, choose “Restore from iTunes Backup” and select the backup of your old phone you wish to use.
Connect your new phone to iTunes, select the backup of your old phone, and click Continue.
Wait until your phone has been fully restored before you use it. It will restart when ready.
Keep your phone connected to iTunes to sync any data that wasn’t stored in your backup (like apps, music and video). You can check which data is synced through the syncing tabs in iTunes.
Once backed up, you will still need to provide passwords for your email and voicemail, along with other synced accounts.
Took about an hour all in all but managed to keep everything including camera roll and messages etc.

Yosemite Call Hand-off - My voice is muffled

I have a mid 2010 iMac (Yosemite) and an iPhone 4S (IOS8.1).
I was particularly excited about being able to make calls from my iMac with the release of Yosemite as I work from home a fair bit and it would be ideal for joining conference calls.
If I make a FaceTime call then everything is great - calls connect and the sound quality is good (both for me and the other person).
If I make a mobile call then it is a different story. The calls connect ok and I can hear the other person, but my voice is very muffled at the other end of the call. I purchased a Blue Yeti mic as I thought that might help, but it has not made any difference.
I used Garageband to test both the iMac and Yeti microphones and they are very clear.
Any ideas of how to solve it.

I have the same problem like you.
I bought Blue Yeti microphone and when I calling via handoff my voice is muffled.
It's strange because while conversation via Skype or FaceTime everything is ok.
I don't know how can I repair this.

I am having multiple problems with my iphone 4s, people can't hear me when I call, text messages don't always send, calls go straight to voice mail. I have all bars, have hard rest 3 times. I have called apple 4 times and gone to a store. No help.

I have had the 3g, 3gs, 4 and little if any problems. I made a major mistake buying the 4s. What a horrible phone. I must say, apple service is at best, BAD. Here are the basics. I am on the same network, I call the same people, I use the same text messages as I did with the 4. With the 4s, I will call someone and they will not be able to hear me. I have to hang up and recall. Or the phone just does nothing when I press call. Text messages acts like they send but when I go back the have been sent. Sometimes the calls go direct to voice mail.
Here's what I have done. Reset, did not help. Called apple, advisor said she would call me back in 5 minutes, after waiting for 5 days for the call, I recalled, they walked me through the same things I had already done, then said to take it to a store. So they set up an appointment for the only day I could get to it, 1 1/2 hours away, on my grand son's birthday. That was okay if they fixed it. So they hard reset it, we had to setup 4 email accounts, they would not allow me to restore because they said it was a software problem. So I had to download all the apps, lost a lot of data. No fun. But if it worked! So Monday back at work, guess what, same thing. When home and did another hard reset. Still no lick. Called apple again. They said they would replace my phone, all they needed was to put a hold on a credit card for $899 or drive a 1 1/2 hours to a store.
So anyone know a good andriod phone.
PS I got a email asking about the service each time and each time I told them what a horrible phone it was and how bad service was. I have yet to hear back. I guess they do not read them!

You're not speaking to Apple on in this forum, nor will someone from Apple see this post. We are just users like you and I.

OK, I reset it several times and it worked fine all day yesterday. Today when I turned on the bluetooth it went back to the same problem. Voice Control comes on and the home button won't work at all. Cannot add people to Group Voice call Version 6.12...

Currently with the latest version of skype now you cannot add people to the voice call if they have already been added to the conversation but were not able to answer the call at an earlier time. The only way for them to join the conversation is for them to call me. Before you were able to just simply click "Add to Call" on skype for Mac and now you cannot. Also this created issues last night as you are currenlty unable to remove people from conversations which is also a major limitation. So we had major issues last night trying to host a skype conference call.

Help, my BB keeps calling people at random!

For the last week or so, my phone has been dialing out on its own. Initially,I updated my options so that my BB would show the dial pad instead of my contact list when using the phone feature, that was working fine for weeks. Now, when I click on my green phone button, it would just automatically go to my contact list and dial the first name on the list.
Now it has progressed into calling people with no effort from me. For instance my phone would be sitting on the dresser and just navigate itself to my contacts or call history and dial someone at random! It truly has a mind of its own! Often times I hear little "hello's" in familiar voices coming from my phone, only to find that it has called someone else.
I've tried resetting it. I have taken the battery out on several occasions, which has helped with other glitches. Turned it off for a few minutes then back on, but to no avail. Does anyone else have this problem or have a clue as to how to remedy it?

Hi, I'm having the same problem too.....a call button that doesn't respond....calling the first contact in contact folder and phone log.....call screen keeps popping up over other apps that are runnning, example messenger,browser ect., ect. to prevent the phone from initiating a call I have to activate the screen lock...doing this I can see the screen light up whenever it's trying to make out the call....I've battrey pull, wipe and wipe and wipe....with both JL CMDER and BMCP...I've loaded OS'es from 4.7 to 5.0.0.973 (bundle 1611, platform 4.2.0.423) this was done yesterday at about 11am....I've not loaded my contact list as yet, 1:46am, but the screen keeps lighting up to the empty contact list....this started happening a couple of hours less than one week today.....I'm just...... frustrated....

If you have important data that is still on the phone and you do not have a backup, and unable to do a backup, then try what I described earlier because the geniuses at the bar WILL NOT recover your data. Seeing that my technique worked for me, I will stand by my earlier response (the one that was removed).

Just spent the morning trying to resolve this problem. If you want good support, Apple support is not the place to go: See the following. My phone is working now, but the support received from Apple was of no help.

support today for Iphone 5c issue (phone would not make outgoing calls,
intermittent and when there was a connection, receiving party could not hear me
unless I was on
speaker. After contacting my service provider, resetting my phone and checking
problems with service, they connected me to Apple support. Apple called me and
gathered my information, cell number I was calling from (not my cell with
problem). We worked through some possible issues and then she said she was
going to call my cell to check connectivity. She proceeds to hang up on the
call we were on and attempts to call my cell. My cell was not working properly,
hence my call was made from a different phone. Support person can not reach me
through my celll ( because it was not working properly) instead of contacting
me back on the number I gave her in case we were disconnected, she leaves a
message for me to call Apple support back to resolve the problem and she was
going to add to the ticket that we were disconnected. Oh and she neglected to
leave me a call back number so that didn't help much. Didn't give me a ticket
number. I use to love apple. I guess you either love them or hate them. I now
hate them and will tell everyone that they have the worst support I have ever
encountered. I have seen many issues with Apple phones whenever someone updates
their IOS as recommended. If you want anything more than sub par support I
would suggest you go anywhere except Apple. Posting on as many social media
sites as I can, since this is the only source I have to complain. Not that
these complaints will be taken seriously.
