Whenever I create a program or Include the editor lock gets checked.

DO you know why this would get automatically set everytiem I create a program? I have to manually go in and uncheck it/

Outline path to create an outline that includes the rounded edge?

In illustrator CS6 I have a line with a rounded endpoints. When I try to OUtLINE PATH - it will clip off the rounded edge -- as if I'm asking AI to outline a path with a non-rounded edge. How can I get outline path to create an outline that includes the rounded edge? Many thanks!

It sounds like something that may require something from this list.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

You can create using the standard object for maintenance plan itself. you need to define 2 sources fields ,like maintenance plan and maintenance item and assign the corresponding fields to the same .also you need to create 2 files and specify the same . then try it

In Mavericks, every time I try to create a new folder on the drive I get a prompt for my password. I checked Get Info on the main drive and under Sharing

I got a new 27" iMac with 10.8.5 and migrated a 10.6.8 system and files. It was working fine. After about 2 weeks I was looking at the Sharing & Permissions and saw an account "wheel". I mistakenly (I NOW know it was a mistake) changed the permission to no access and subsiquenty could not boot the computer. I had an older iMac so I built a boot disk with the Mavericks installer on it. Booted the computer and restored from a Time Machine backup previous to the change of permissions of the "wheel" account. I went ahead and did a clean install of Mavericks
The computer is now running with Mavericks installed and I am rebuilding. When I go to create a new folder on the system drive I get prompted for a pasword.
When I checked the permissions and sharing on the main drive it tells me "you can only read".
I am logged in with an admin account. I have run Disk Utiltiy and Tech Tool Pro's permission verify and repair. Given what happend last time I changed permissions I am reluctant to make any changes.
Anyone have an idea as to what I should do.

I remember that once I've read at the NWDS help that I can create dynpro properties which can be configured on the WAS's Configuration Adapter serviceand can be retreived when the dynpro application loads. I need to use it now but can't find the explanation and code example. Can someone please show me how to do it?

To chaneg the property value outside the application,

Problem importing and including the subfolders without getting question marks

i am trying to import a folder of vacation pictures. it has 5000 pictures and there are many subfolders. It imports them where i want but it gives me question marks on all the subfolders. And the subfolders are empty even though it tells me how many pictures are in the folder. I right clicked the question marked folders and point to where they are and it just says they are already there and do i want to merge the folders. In importing i told it to include the subfolders. I have tried this twice and each time the same results. Very frustrating to have to scroll through thousands of pictures. what am i doing wrong.

try sync your folders and make sure you are not moving anything externally:
Synchronize folders
When you synchronize folders, you have the option of adding files that have been added to the folder but not imported into the catalog, removing files that have been deleted, and scanning for metadata updates. The photo files in the folder and all subfolders can be synchronized. You can determine which folders, subfolders, and files are imported.
In the Folders panel, select the folder you want to synchronize.
Choose Library > Synchronize Folder.
In the Synchronize Folder dialog box, do any of the following:
To import photos that appear in the folders but have not been imported in the catalog, select Import New Photos. If you select Show Import Dialog Before Importing, you can specify which folders and photos are imported.
To remove photos that have been deleted from the folder but not from the catalog, select Remove Missing Photos From Catalog. If this option is dimmed, no files are missing. (You can choose Show Missing Photos to display the photos in Grid view.)
To scan for any metadata changes made to the files in another application, choose Scan For Metadata Updates.
Click Synchronize.
If the Import Photos dialog box opens, specify the folders and files you want to import, and then click Import.
also:
Make sure that the option "Library" -> "Show Photos in Subfolders" is enabled. If it is not enabled, an activated folder will only show the photos that are directly in that folder.

Hi I seem have created duplicate preference files With the suffix "lock file". Is this normal? Thanks Geoff

I just been looking in my preference file folder to throw away the preferences for Final Cut and there seems to be duplications of the preference files with the suffix “lock file". Is this normal in OS 10.7? I look forward to any advice.

This means that customers may see an increase in the CRS_HOME required from 100MB to 500MB. Customers whose home size cannot accommodate this should move the old ocssd.l0* files to another destination. Please do not move the existing ocssd.log file.

Creating applications does not include the debug and back panel.

I create quite a few .exe's for distribution and generally have no problems. But recently I have a had problem on one that is mysterious so I decided add the debugging features which are supposed to give me the back panel and allow tracing. As far as I can see, all the proper switches are set in the application builder for debugging, but I never get the items I expect either in the Operate, Tools or Window menus and can't pull up the back panel.
Has anyone been able to make this work correctly and do you have any tips for me?

Hi Dave,
You can debug an executable on the local machine as well, just put 'localhost' as computer name from LabVIEW.
The only important thing to remember is that you need LabVIEW to debug.

I'm creating a program that caluclates the area of a triangle & rectangle

Hi. I am reposting this topic in order to post it correctly. I will begin with my questions. I am to ask user to enter either rectangle or triangle to find the area of shape or to hit X to terminate the program. Have I coded this correctly? I am to use while and if loops which calls methods from CalculateAreaOfShapes. I have not attempted the if loops because I'm just not sure how to do them. If someone could give me some suggestions I'd apppreciate it. Next, if user enters Rectangle, I am to call calculateAreaOfRectangle() Have I coded this correctly?
