I am developing the code to download the file into multiple sheets of excel file.
got many links and sample codes from this forum.
but my doubt is where can we find the methods in applications.
Example:
add, cells, range etc are the methods in the object excel.application.

Can any one tell me where I can find the methodtracer class
I am trying to compile the Bean Box withing the BDK and have got to a stage where I can not compile further because I am missing the class MethodTracer.
Does anyone know where I can find this class.

e.g. the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID , when I was going through the class and looking
at the methods, sometimes the method description is just like the method name,
and I cannot know what the method does.

Most of the times the SAP itself provides the documentaion of the CLASS. when you click on the METHOD name the METHOD DOCUMENTATION button you can see on the application tool bar.
more over the names of the methods suggest what it is going to do.
SET_ATTRIBUTE( sets the attribute)
GET_ATTRIBUTE( gets the attribute value that is provided to the method)
GET_CHILDNODE
BIND_TABLE
etc

Where can I find the original code for class in Java API
I am learning Java programming and wanted to see how professionals handel all cases. Can anyone tell me where I can find the original implementation code for classes in Java API? It would be a great help for me.
the basic source is where you installed java in a file called java.src, its either in the main dir of one of the sub dirs ( mmm ), contains all the source code for all the classes in the api.

I need transfer a xml file to oracle use Java. I find a Java program can do it, but the java progran need a class(oracle.xml.sql.dml.*) and I don't find it.

and download OracleXML SQL Utility.
If you're using Oracle8.1.5, download version
111. If using Oracle8.1.6, download XSU12.
Unzip the archive file.
Under the lib directory, there should be
a jar file. This jar file contains the class
you're looking for.
You do not need to unzip this file. Just set
it in your CLASSPATH. -

Does anyone here know about places on the net where you can download algorithms and classes written in Java?
I am looking for a method/class that is able to do the following:
Given a mispelled word. Find the word in a word list that best matches this word.
Obviously simple wildcards isn't going to cut it.Your best bet would probably be to implement the Soundex or Metaphone algorithms. They're frequently used for word-matching.
The SOUNDEX algorithm is an algorithm used to convert words into a 1 character, 3 digit code that can be used for phonetic comparisons. More on it can be found at http://www.myatt.demon.co.uk/sxalg.htm
Metaphone has better performance. -
Where can I find Java 1.5 swing (JTabbedPane class) source code
I've installed Java 1.5 and 1.6 JDK's on my PC. I was told that after you do this there is a jar file that contains Sun's Java source code (the .java files) that gets installed along with the JDK. However, I have not been able to find this jar file. Does anyone know where I can find the Sun Java 1.5 Swing library source files? Specifically I am trying to edit/modify the JTabbedPane class.
I find the src.zip on my work PC, where I installed the 1.5/1.6 JDK back in 2007. Looks like when I installed the JDK's on my home PC that I did not get the src.zip file??? Anyway thanks for your help.

Hi everybody,
I want to modiy Java classes from the ISA R3 shop.
I have unpacked the *.sar file which contains several ear files like b2b.ear, shopadmin.ear etc. I have unpacked this ear file. After that I have unpacked the corresponding war files. I thought after this steps I can find the Java classes. But there are only jsp and xml files.
Where can I find the Java classes (Beans etc.)
Is it correct that I have to unpack ths files with the jar.exe from the jdk and not with the ISA-BUILT tool?

I suggest you that checks the notes in the forum of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), in that forum comes all about ISA.
For modify ISA you have to download de ISA Build Tool, you make your changes and after that you install the new ear application.
All the bean classes in this applications comes in jar´s but you can extended the classes.. for do it, read the SAP ISA Development Guide

But I could not find the java doc for the classes that are used, for example, JavaConcurrentProgram, CpContext etc. Would someone please tell me where I can find the javadoc api for those classes? I am looking for the javadoc api for the classes related to the java concurrent program. I did find some javadoc api for class like oracle.apps.fnd.common.Context from jdeveloper. But I could not find any javadoc api for oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.* and oracle.app.fnd.util.* etc. -
