Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'LastRun < =3/24/2015 12:00:00 AM'.
How to write a where condition on date column excel sheet?
Thanks
PS.Shakeer Hussain

Hi PS.Shakeer Hussain,
In Excel, we store these data in excel is string type.  Based on your code, it is dataTime type. So if fails when compare with dataTime and string.
Please try the following code, Useing DateTime.ToOADate Method to convert to the equivalent OLE Automation date. It works fine on my side.
OleDbDataAdapter dbAdapter = new OleDbDataAdapter("select * from [Sheet1$] WHERE createdDate < "+DateTime.Parse("3/29/2015").ToOADate(), connExcel);

Kristin

    or
    select types,seqno,acdate from ACMINUTESPDFTEST where acdate = to_date('NOV','MON');

    select ...

    HI,
In a where condition the table field vale is of type timestamp and select options value is of type date.
    How do i select data?

Define a range for r_dt for timestamp field.
Initailize the range with the below values.
    r_dt-sign = 'I'.
    r_dt-option = 'CP'.
    concatenate r_date-low '*' into r_dt-low.
    concatenate r_date-high '*' into r_dt-high.
    append r_dt.
Use r_dt in your select query where clause.
Note - r_date is the select-option for your date field.

  • Where condition for a column in BMM

    Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement where in the BMM(The LTS for this logical table is say 'Fact'), I need a logical column with the following definition.
count(Dim.status) where Dim.status = ' Accepted' (I didnt add the Dim table to the LTS yet, should I?)
I know that we can do a count(Dim.status) in the column source . but for the where Dim.status = ' Accepted' part im not sure what to do.
Should I bring the Dim table as a LTS and define the 'where' condition in the content tab? will that work?
but what if I have another logical column where I need dim.Status = 'Declined'( we have many more status)
    Plz help

The suggest statement as Filter(count(Fact.Dollars) Using("dim.status = 'accepted'))
is based on Answers, this would care about the column is available in Subject Area or not thats it.
The same kind of functionality can get the using rpd.
There you might need to map/add (fact source properties and then map using pencil icon on 11g add button in 10g) the dim table to the fact
so that you can get the expression based on physical columns as
case when dim.status = 'accepted' then Fact.Dollars else 0 end
    use Aggregate tab for sum;
Since you are using Fact.Dollars it suppose to be sum, ROW_WIDs go by counts
Hope this helps :) for more Qs send email

  • How to have more than one condition on same column --- using SQL Loader

    Hi All,
I am stuck with SQL Loader..
How do I filter records before loading in the table using when clause..
i should load data only when
    field1 = 'AC' or 'VC'
    field2 is NULL
i used various combinations in when clause like
    a) when field1='AC' or field1='VC' and field2 = BLANKS
    b) when (field1='AC') and (field2 = BLANKS )
    & similar...
In all the cases I tried I could not implement OR condition with field1 and null condition with field2
but my main concern is can we use OR or IS NULL things in when clause of SQL Loader..
is it possible to check this anywhere??
any alternate solution u could suggest??
    Thanks
    Dikshit

Ok I'll try that, although I did try it earlier when I had iTunes 5.xx loaded, I think.
As to size of playlists, I have a master (900 songs) that defines what will fit onto the ipod , I then generate all the others as subsets of the master (not of the library)- hence I know they will all fit
Can you also clarify something for me: the dialogue box we are discussing is intended, I think, so that one can set the automatic synching of certain playlists between the PC & the ipod. Is that the only way one can select other playlists to go to the ipod - i.e. as static once-offs, not synchronised ?
Apple' docs, I think, are poor in this regard - they assume most ipods are bigger then the users song library and they gloss over the details of this alternate mode of playlist synching.
    Thanks - Nick

  • How to set null value for a date column using database adapter

    Hello,

I'm getting the following error whenever I attempt to insert a date value into my Oracle database.

I've seen somewhere that you can call setUseNativeSQL() in toplink but how do I get hold of the toplink session from an entity bean?
That sounds like an awkward workaround anyway, what other workarounds are open to us?
    Thanks,

    C,
I don't use TopLink, but I suggest you set the "processEscapes" [Oracle database connection] property to "true", as described in the JDBC User's Guide and Reference.

  • Extraction problem - selection conditions for data load using abap program

    Hi All,
I have a problem loading data over a selected period where the selection of date range is done using ABAP routine (type 6). Here though in the request header tab in monitor screen i'm able to see the selection date range populated correctly, no records are being extracted. But if i delete the abap filter and directly give the same date range for selection we are able to extract data. if any body has faced similar problem and have a solution for it please help me with yur suggestion.
    Thanks,
    nithin.

It seems the the data range is not properly set in the routine.
You can check the value of selection period generated by routine in the data selection tab-> execute button is there .
Click it to to test the selection values generated by the ABAP routine..
If the value here seems correct one then paste the code of the routine that u have written with brief logic details that u have applied.

  • Excel data filtration using oledb from huge excel files size approx (200mb) using c# (ADO)

    hi,
My ado application requires to read data from one xlsx file(Approx 10-20MB min) and then process the data row by row and compare with
another xlsx file( approx size 250 MB min) containing over 1000000 rows with 63 columns (work like database).
when i try to read the database file (250 MB) and run the oledb data queries on it, it's working so strange, its only give the first matched data from the database file. but if i opened that xlsx database file in office excel and then run my application
its return all matched data from the database file without changing any code.
i already checked my dataquery its working fine in server Explorer and returns the complete result.
this process also very time consuming ,
i already tried openxml sax mathod to resolve the performance issue as well, but its not worked too. even it takes more time compare to oledb to read the excel.
i also have two another issues in my application,
    1. sometime oledb returns an exception 'System resource exceeded' and
    2. some time return 'internal ole automation error' .
i also tried google to resolve these issue but i didn't find any solution for my problem.
is there any solution to resolve these issues?  please help me. any suggestion appreciated but please remember one thing i can't change any xlsx table format because i don't have rights, these xlsx files automatically generated by another tools by our
    sourcing partners.
    thanks.

    Please see this.
    http://www.sqlis.com/post/Looping-over-files-with-the-Foreach-Loop.aspx
Or, if you don't have SSIS, do Bulk Insert by looping through the files.  Let's say the files have something in common, like a date in the name of the file.  Simply run this SQL Server script . . .
    DECLARE @intFlag
    INT
    SET @intFlag
    = 1
    WHILE (@intFlag
    <=48)
    BEGIN
    PRINT @intFlag
    declare @fullpath1
    varchar(1000)
    select @fullpath1
    = '''\\ftp\your_path\'
    + convert(varchar,
    getdate()- @intFlag
    , 112)
    + '_your_file.txt'''
    declare @cmd1
    nvarchar(1000)
    select @cmd1
    = 'bulk insert [dbo].[your_table] from '
    + @fullpath1 +
    ' with (FIELDTERMINATOR = ''\t'', FIRSTROW = 2, ROWTERMINATOR=''0x0a'')'
    exec (@cmd1)
    SET @intFlag
    = @intFlag + 1
    END
    GO
Knowledge is the only thing that I can give you, and still retain, and we are both better off for it.
