I add adf-richclient-api in my project, but when build the project it shows error

Anyone know where I can load for this jar?

You normally add a whole library (containing multiple jar files) to your project.
The libraries defined in JDEV containing the jars you need.
Try adding the ADF Faces Runtime 11 library to your project. You'll probably need to add some more of the ADF libraries to get your project compiled.

Can any guru shed the light on this and help me out?

Which libraries to deploy to run adf-richclient-demo[SOLVED]

Hi everyone,
I'm Fizzz... Working on JDeveloper11gR1
I need to deploy adf-richclient-demo application on External WebLogic Server(11g).
Initially there were no libraries deployed before.When I'm trying to deploy this Application then it is not able to FacesContext class.
and deployment failed.
so please tell which are the libraries i should use and where can i find those files.
when i deploy latest jsf and jstl libraries then my application deployed successfully but when i run the application then none of the PPR on application work.
please assist me what to do?

Without any external libraries when i try to deploy application from Admin console, I got following msges -
->An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.

Hi
I'm trying download adf-richclient-demo.war file but the link http://download.oracle.com/otn/java/jdeveloper/11/extensions/adf-richclient-demo.war isn't the war file it's a zip, and i cann't import the file in jdeveloper 11g tp3.
In the page How-to deploy and run the ADF Faces Rich Client Components demo, the links are wrong, what's the problem ? I have to do a demo presentation about rich client using ADF in a customer and i need the war file.
Where is the war file to the demo?

it works for me.
Followed your link and got a adf-richclient-demo.war as a file.May be you should check your mime types in you browser.
Any way you can just rename the .zip file to .war and it should work.

Hi,
the demo is a WAR file. So if you have a tomcat version that supports JSF 1.2 then you should be able to deploy it like any other JEE WAR file

Where is DPS App Builder?

i just download and install the new version of DPS Desktop Tools (CS6) of 7th Feb 2013.
When in InDesign i lunch "Create App", the DPS App builder is'nt find.
Where is?

App builder is only for Mac. If it is installed then check in Applications folder. Open it from there.

just to add some info: Since activation triggers a build the build log really is the result of the activation, isn't it?
There is one pitfall: If activation fails due to build errors you have to use this way (Or navigate to the request using the CBS WebUI and then check the activation results there). If you check the last build log for the DC (nagivating to the DC via CBS WebUI) you usually see the last succesfull build, i.e. a different build log.

I read the Jdev documentation and still don't get the idea how af:progressIndicator work with af:poll and my long running process. I have a button on a jsp that runs a long process via calling of stored procedure. As this DB process usually takes long time to complete, the middle tier will be time-out before it. How can I use progressIndicator and poll to keep user notified and keep the session active ?

Under the heading 'Creating an "ADF Faces " Library and registering the ADF Faces tag libraries', point 1) Download the adf-faces-ea10.zip from here. Unzip this file to a separate directory such as d:\adffaces. This directory will contain the subdirectories docs, lib, and src, and the adf-faces-demo.zip. The lib directory will contain the required jar files and tld (tag library descriptors) files for JDeveloper to work with ADF Faces.

Where is the Extension Builder download?

Amazingly, I can't find from where to download the Extension Builder installer. What is the URL for the page from which I can download it

Going through the below advice I hope there is a way to build a extension using flash builder.
If you haven't already, take a look at the freely available CS SDK - you can build extensions with the free Flex SDK - or with Flash Builder (though, of course, you will not benefit on some of the accelerator tooling that Extension Builder provides).

You only get to use the application builder while logged in as a user other than SYSTEM. Try clicking on the Getting Started button on the home page. Follow the directions to unlock the HR schema to get an idea.
