Where is the Clock App

Am I suffering from domestic blindness???
Where is the clock App. More than ever I could use this right now as I am in Ohio and my wife is in Sydney, Australia.
Did Apple forget to include this, seems very odd that it doesn't exist.

You can use Safari to find the time for anyplace in the world. In the Google search bar you type:
What time is it in London?
What time is it in Washington D.C.? etc...etc...ect...
Or you can use this web site:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/difference.html?p1=2
I know it doesn't look fancy or replaces the snooze alarm. It does tell the time.

Is my iPhone glitchin or has the clock app color got lighter

MMy clock app stock used to blend in with dark black background wallpaper. Now it no longer blends in and the app now shows. Ive had trouble with apps grating out before and a hard reset fixed it but I'm curious to know of the app color has changed or is my iPhone glitching

I don't see any difference. The clock app looks the same in both. Are you sure you don't mean the Status bar? That does look a bit different. I believe the font was changed with iOS 8. "Grating out" doesn't make any sense to me. I don't know what you mean by that. If you believe you have a problem, follow the basics: restart, reset, restore from back up, restore as new.

Has anyone had problems with the clock app in iOS 6?

The clock app has been updated and now allows me to use a song as my alarm tone. Have been wanting apple to do this for a long time. Problem is that when alarm goes off I get no sound. The phone just vibrates. I do not have the phone muted. Guessing this is a glitch in the app? Anyone else having similar problem?

Been using iOS 6 now for a couple weeks on an iPad 2 and twice have relied on it as an alarm clock. Both times it's failed to play the song I've designated as the alarm. I've tried it with the cover open and closed, volume maxed and not. Each time, after the designated alarm time, I've opened the iPad up & entered the security code only to be greeted by the alarm message pop up. That's it.
Kinda frustrating, to say the least.
Am I using it incorrectly? Having used the clock on the iPhone this way in earlier versions of iOS, I've never had an issue. Would like to leverage this functionality, but being 0 for 2, not sure I want to risk a third time...

How to fix the Clock App's timer?

Hey guys,
So I have been having a recurring and permanent problem ever since I moved to iOS 7.
I have an iPhone 5 and with iOS 6 the timer function with-in Clock was working perfectly, up until the release of iOS 7. Then the timer stopped functioning as designed...by which I mean, I could set a time for 20 seconds, 20 minutes or 2 hours. It would make no difference. The timer would start correctly, and count-down correctly, but when it came to ringing off the alarm signalling the timer had finished, that however would not occur. No sound, no nothing. It would not matter if I set the timer with Siri or manually; no difference.
I am only posting this problem (which arose in October of last year) now because I was hoping that subsequent updates to iOS 7 would eventually fix the issue, and of course they have not (at least for me). I have not yet tried wiping and restoring the phone to find out if that helps. It was partly to find out if anyone else has had this issue.

No I do not have any issue with the timer. Just tested 2 minutes using Siri and it works.
Do you have "When Timer Ends" > Radar or any other sound you have set?
Is your mute switch at the left side of iPhone ON?
Have you done a reset after deleting the Clock app from multitask-list?
Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data

Is there any way to sort the alarms differently in the Clock app? I have alarms for multiple days during the week, all of which overlap each other. It makes no sense to me that the alarms sort by time and not day. Thanks!

Upgraded to ios5 and I no longer have the clock app

Where is the Remote App option (to pair devices) in iTunes on Windows 8?

I know it used to be in the sidebar, and view options. Now with the sidebar removed, and it being gone from my options list, I'm at a loss of where to look. I just need to find the options page where you input the code to pair my App with my Computer.

When you click Add an iTunes Library in the Remote app on your device iTunes should detect the device like this:
Click the entry with the remote app icon and type in the paring code on the screen that appears.

Where did the builtin apps go?

I just received my iPad2 a few days ago and have noticed that it does not have several of the built in apps I have on my iPhone. So far I have noticed the following apps missing. Is this expected?
Calculator, Stocks, Weather and World Clock with Alarm, timer etc...
Do others have the same issue?

Yeah I am aware there are many avaialble. The single one app that I am astonished Apple did not include is the calculator. Of all the simple basic built-in apps to get rid of. Calculator is one of the most basic apps. APPLE WHY DID YOU REMOVE THESE APPS FROM THE IPAD?

Where is the mail app log?

I am getting a message that a message is unable to be sent.
Port is correct.
Auth is none.
I'd like to see what response is being given by the SMP server, but running up console, I can't seem to find where the mail app is logging the problem it is having.

As far as I know mail doesn't log those. It is generally a matter of either connectivity (eg I get it when trying to send a message via a server, but the part of the LAN I am currently using is blocked from accessing that server) or of a valid email address, where the server is able to verify the address because it is local to the server. It may also occur where the both the sender and recipient are outside the domain of the server, but that doesn't sound like your problem.
If you really want to see what is happening, you will need to run a network sniffer (eg ethereal or MacSniffer).

By default, it's in the Utilities folder. Once you find it, tap and hold it until the icon starts to wiggle. Drag it to where ever you would like it. Note that you can also access contacts through the Phone app.

thank, king, but none of them have all the simple elegant functions I was used to--the stop watch, the count down time, the multiple alarms. I tried one last night an never even heard the alarm. I use the other functions in my work on a daily basis. it's a loss and seems like a dumb choice on Apple's part!

How can I change the timer in the clock app to minutes and seconds instead of hours and minutes?

Is it wishful thinking or a false memory? It seems like there used to be a way to change the timer function of the clock from hours and minutes to minutes and seconds. I feel like there's a magic tap or secret swipe that I discovered but have forgotten. Am I totally delusional?

We may have to wait for an update. Aside from changing the country, I'm not sucre this can be done. There is no Health App in the System preferences and no way to modify from within the app. Weird.
If you go to Language & Region under general settings and choose any other country, you will get Metric. I have the opposite problem. I live in a Metric country and want my health app to be in lbs and inches which is what I am used to.

After downloading and install 10.8 from the Mac Store, where does the install app go? I would like to burn the 'InstallESD.dmg" package to DVD.

Hi folks -- i downloaded ML 10.8 from the Mac Store yesterday, and before installing saw the install app in my Applications folder. Following a posting on Macworld.com, I would like to make a DVD backup of the installer, but after restarting from the installation process, the Installer app is gone from the Applications folder, and I cannot find it anywhere... In would like to make that DVD backup in case I have Internet issues and need to do an install.
Do I need to download the installar again (and if I do, do I have to pay for it again), or is it hidden somewhere invisibly on my drive?--

It gets deleted as soon as you install.
You need to quit the installer and extract from the app package before installing or download again.
