Where is the official acrobat 3D API?

I'm quite confused at this point. I found a link pointing to what seems to be the API. http://www.acrobatusers.com/tech_corners/3d/3d_resources/Acro3DJS.pdf however, I can not find any animation methods such as play(), stop() or pause().
Is this API complete? On a side note I tried searching through Animation Controller.js and it seems they are somehow getting into the runtime object but there really is no documentation for that listed in the API I posted above. Can someone help lead me in the right direction. I simply just want to code against the API to control my 3D object animations.
-Thanks!

OK I think I have figured this out a bit. It seems that there really aren't any built animation methods into the API. You have to set and read from the animation.currentTime property.
I find it a little confusing but it doesn't seem that bad after you take a look at it and walk though everything that is going on in the script. So take a look at the Animation Controller.js in more detail if anyone else has any questions on this matter. You can control the animations but you have to likely set up your own methods to do this.

  • Where is the official documentation for Wireless OTA Enterprise App Distribution?

Where is the official documentation for Wireless OTA Enterprise App Distribution? It used to be here:
    http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#featuredarticles/FA_Wireless_Enterprise_ App_Distribution/Introduction/Introduction.html
The above link is present in many posts in these forums (cf. More Like This below this question.
The information I seek may also have been here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=answerlink&url=http://manuals.info.apple. com/en_US/Enterprise_Deployment_Guide.pd…
The article in question had official details on
    the itms-services:// link,
the app manifest file format and
    the general information.
Currently I cannot find anything official on enterprise app distribution - only third party information. Has something changed, or is this a documentation glitch? Surely wireless OTA enterprise app distribution is still available via the enterprise developer program?
Note: We currently use this for one of our enterprise clients. But before recommending other clients to join the enterprise developer program, we would like an official citation on whether this mechanism still exists.

OK, the link in my question is no longer a 404. It's been replaced by a redirect to a new iOS Enterprise Deployment subsite which has been remade for iOS 8.
    http://www.apple.com/iphone/business/it/deployment.html
My actual question about the technical reference is now located in the iOS Deployment Reference section of Apple Help:

Solving MSVCR80 issue and Windows iTunes install issues.
If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP
HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process.

  • Where are the official microsoft ISO's for windows 10 preview?

    Hi All,
Where are the official Microsoft ISO's for Windows 10,  10051 and 10056 preview?   They are all over the web, but I don't trust them unless they comes from Microsoft itself.
    Many thanks,
    -T

    To ToddAndMargo,
RE : Is there a way to manually go to Windows Updates and manually download a particular file
No. All updates will be downloaded and installed automatically. You don't get to choose which to install and which to decline.
RE : And I can't find 10049's ISO either (from Microsoft).
As of now, the only most current ISO available is for build 10041. Build 10049 ISO is not yet available.
When build 10049 is released from Slow ring, usually it is also the time its ISO will be released.
    RE: ESD file. How?
One cannot download an esd file of build 10049 from Windows Update.
You download and install the entire build 10049 via Windows Update. When it is done, you can then find its Installed.esd file from RecoveryImage folder and use it to manually create an ISO fie. You will need a specific program to create an ISO from Esd.
You might ask " why do I need an ISO fie if the operating system is already installed ?"
Some users are advocates of "clean install". They prefer clean install over upgrade install. Clean install can be done by burning the ISO file into a bootable DVD or an USB with at least 4 GB capacity and use it to install.
You can also use the same media and install in another compatible computer.
It can also serve as an emergency backup incase you need to reinstall.

  • Where are the Inquiry and Publishing API

In the "Oracle App. Server Web Services: Developer's Guide: 10g(9.0.4)" document on tahiti, the author mentions several UDDI API (Inquiry API, Publishing API,..) and several examples in something named "uddidemo.zip". I CAN NOT FIND ANY OF THESE DEMO OR APIs, in http://otn.oracle.com/tech/java/oc4j/demos (according to the book). This doc was put out in September 2003.
Does anyone know where Oracle keeps these UDDI demo/API? Or is this doc out of date, already.

Its on the keyboard somewhere on top center close to the number keys. To be straight, its just below F12 key.

  • Where is the 'Search Acrobat Windows Forum' button?

I've largely dropped out of this forum since it changed format (no particular reason, I can see the improvements, but it just seemed to take a bit more time to review and do things), so maybe I'm being dense with my subject line?  The first thing I usually want to do when I enter a forum is search for a topic that may answer my question already, but all I see are options to search Adobe globally (no thanks) or all forums (no, I'm in the Acrobat forum because I have an Acrobat question).  Once I've returned a list that uselessly includes all forums I get a new Search bar and a dropdown list of Adobe applications, so then I can narrow it down, but I've already used my daily allocation of mouse clicks and am losing interest. Am I missing something?

    Bon dias,
You are at "top" of Acrobat Windows Forum.
Enter a string in the Search field.
Click the button at the right.
    Wait a moment.
Search returns are presented from all Forums.
Click "More options" (under Search for: <you query string>
    Observe the "Where" List.
Select Acrobat Windows (nested under Acrobat) - this is the third line item from the top.
If desired - provide a "When" &/or a "Who" filter.
    Click the Search button again.
Search Results are listed for your query string from the Acrobat Windows Forum.
Retain the list by opening a new Tab in your browser when viewing a result.
Review the Search Tips to learn more about what is available with this particular search engine.
While search engines share many features in common, often they do no process the feature exactly the same.
In sum - rather adequate search of specific forums is available.
We might natter about the user interface but for most queries, the forum search is adequate.
    Be well...

  • Where is the official download page for full version of Firefox? Old one has only stubs now.

The old page now has stubs only, there is no full version on it:
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
Separate but valid question: Searching Mozilla Support on this very forum yields no answers as to where to download the full version of the program itself, around which this entire forum has been set up with all the numerous questions in it about the program... yet there is no answer on how and where to actually *GET* the full version of the program... this strongly suggests that the forum administrators went out of their way, to make it difficult to impossible for users to get the FULL VERSION of the program...
There are many valid reasons for needing the full version of the program, don't you think it's pretty incredible that it has always been difficult to download the full version of Firefox? The old page had it buried in between the Acholi and Xhosa languages, even though English (US) is probably needed by millions of users vs. relatively few for Acholi and Xhosa... Millions of users had to go though gymnastics of finding it buried in between all the worlds languages with every consecutive version, and now they completely removed it even from that page...
What is the the reason, and you have to agree there is a reason, for Mozilla preventing us from having the full installation file? And what is the reason, even when the full installation file existed on that page, for this forum to make it almost impossible to find that page when searching the forum, or the entire internet for the official full version download page?

Last time I checked, that page did link to full installers. The format of the links for Windows was:
    https://download.mozilla''.''org/?product=firefox-'''36.0.4-SSL'''&os=win&lang=en-US
I have bolded the part that currently says '''stub'''. Hand-crafted links in that form still work (but I have broken the link in this post with my formatting).
I don't have personal knowledge of what's going on with the "all" download page and hope it changes back.
As for blaming this forum for anything having to do with the "all" download page, you must be kidding. That page was always available from the main page using a link that said Systems & Languages and as the link says, it lists all the available systems and languages.

  • Where is the official Oracle documentation that describes Hot Backup?

I have used the woefully inadequate Metalink search utilities and Google but the nearest thing I have found is a description on "Ask Tom".
I am looking for the official Oracle documentation that describes what happens internally during a Hot Backup. There are a lot of web sites and blogs out there that describe it but I am looking for the description from Oracle themselves. The only things I have found in the Oracle documentation so far is how to start and stop Hot Backup but not what happens internally. Preferably 11gR2 if it makes any difference.
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks mseberg. This is what I was looking for. I had read this manual before but apparently glossed over this paragraph:
"When performing a user-managed online backup, you must place your datafiles into
backup mode with the ALTER DATABASE or ALTER TABLESPACE statement with the
BEGIN BACKUP clause. When a tablespace is in backup mode, the database writes the
before image for an entire block to the redo stream before modifying a block. The
database also records changes to the block in the online redo log. Backup mode also
freezes the data file checkpoint until the file is removed from backup mode. Oracle
Database performs this safeguard because it cannot guarantee that a third-party
backup tool copies the file header before copying the data blocks."
Hot backup is still quite useful and Rman doesn't cover all cases. What we are doing with it is using storage-based replication (Shadow Image) to another set of LUNS which we then mount on another server and backup using Rman. This removes the overhead of Rman on the Production Database server and extends our backup window to almost 24 hours.

  • Where is the JavaDoc for depreciated API classes

  • Where's the Oracle Forms Java API documentation for 11g?

    Hi,
Can anyone point me in the direction of the Oracle Forms Java API documentation?
The only thing I can find is this: http://www.oratransplant.nl/1012jdapiDoc/oracle/forms/jdapi/JdapiModule.html but this seems to be for 10.1.2 and it doesn’t correspond to the version I’m using (11.1.1.3).
    Help appreciated,
    Donal.

i couldn't find the api either however if you implement the class you will simply get compiler errors explaining what you left out.

  • Where is the identity server sdk api ?

Previously I could download the sso client sdk from www.identityprovider.net. Anyone know where I can download it from now please?
Also, is the sdk only for windows and solaris? I would like a client for Redhat ES 3.
    Thanks,
    Peter

    Hi,
None of this is "official", but I thought it may help.
Previously I could download the sso client sdk from
www.identityprovider.net. Anyone know where I can
download it from now please? In AM 7 I happen to know there was some repackaging of the amsdk. I believe the best way to obtain the newest AMSDK is through the download of AM7, which is to say you need to download Java Enterprise System. I know it's a big download.... You can likely download just that component installer.
You'll also find the sdk bundled with some of the policy agents. However, if you want complete support, it's probably best that you operate from the package of the AM SDK in Java ES. Sometimes the jar in the policy agent might be older/newer.
Also, is the sdk only for windows and solaris? I
would like a client for Redhat ES 3.Java ES is supported on Windows/Solaris and Redhat ES 3, so there should be no problem. Java ES 2005Q4 hasn't been released on Windows yet, but AMSDK is ultimately just Java code, so it should "work" there. If you can duplicate any issues you encounter on a supported platform, you'd be able to open a service case.
    Hope that helps,
    - Matt

  • Where is the Adobe Acrobat XI tool bar so I can edit a pdf file

my recent Adobe  Acrobat XI does not have a tool bar

    Hi ronsain,
First, let's make sure that you have Acrobat open, and not Reader (it happens!). Then, if you are in Acrobat and don't see the toolbars, choose View > Show/Hide > Toolbar Items > Show Toolbars to display the toolbars.
Please let us know if that solves the problem!
    Best,
