Where is this class file located??

In developer studio, I am getting an error when building my java project that says "The project was not built since its classpath is incomplete. Cannot find the class file for com.sapportals.wcm.util.uri.RID. Fix the classpath then try rebuilding this project."
Here is the import statement: import com.sapportals.wcm.util.uri.RID;
I have not been able to find the jar file needed to fix this anywhere. Does anybody know the name of the file required for this?

first of all add a web dynpro reference (dc->properties)

you may have to create a different dc to contain your jars.

Where is fndload output file located?

Hi,
FNDLOAD generates a log and out file. The log file is generated in the current directory but I could not find the out file in the current directory as well as the output directory.
Can somebody please tell where is this output file located?

When you run FNDLOAD, it will create a log file and LDT file (as the output file). I thought the LDT file is not created at all, and this is what I was trying to troubleshoot! I should have paid attention to your line above in this thread (the directory does not have any files other than the LDT and LOG files) :)

Where is the temporary file located for streaming audio or video?

I've noticed that when listening to streaming radio that Safari (v. 4.0.2, MacBook, Leopard 10.5.8) is apparently storing the feed temporarily someplace on my computer, as one is able to go forward and back on the content, if one has paused the feed for awhile. Where is this temporary file located, i.e., what is the path on my computer for it (assuming that is where it is), please?

Problem creating package structure and where is my .class file??????

Working on Tomcat I have my folder structure like this...
webapps
->app_root
->WEB-INF
->classes
->src
-> .java files
->META_INF
In the command prompt i compile using this
c:\Program Files\Apache Tomcat 4.0\webapps\Murthy\WEB-INF\classes>javac -d src\*.java
and in my java files I have the package structure mentioned as
package com.acme;
after compiling i expected this to happen for me.
webapps
->app_root
->WEB-INF
->classes (in WEB-INF)
->com (in classes)
->acme (in com)
-> .class files (in acme)
->src (in WEB-INF)
-> .java files(In src)
->META_INF
The funiest part for me started he when i compiled the file
c:\Program Files\Apache Tomcat 4.0\webapps\Murthy\WEB-INF\classes>javac -d src\one.java
It compiled successfully without giving me any error but no package structure was created and THERE IS NO one.class file anywhere in my system.....Then how did it compile my file and where is the .class file.
I think am worng somewhere but unable to locate it.
Can somebody pull me out of thiss stuf??? Need to do it fast.

The command you posted does not have a source file specification. You are telling the compiler to put the .class files in src\*.java but you are not specifying any .java files. It looks like your command should be javac -d . src\*.java

Hi Lisan,
Which version are you using? Folder strucure differs for 11i and R12 versions.
All the class files will be placed under the JAVA_TOP folder. From there you have to follow your package structure. Here it is oracle/apps/xxogl/f04/cp/file

Where are my important files located in Leopard 10.5?

I had an old file from apple titled "Where are my important files located?" which applied to 10.3. I could not find this same doc for 10.5. It had the location of all the important files for safari, mail, address book, etc. and was handy when I was mirgrating files or backing up or so forth. Is there now an updated file/doc for this with regards to 10.5 Leopard? Or is every important file's location still located in the same location? Thanks

I'm a big "foggy" on a lot of the OS X 10.3 "Panther" stuff but I think you'll find OS X 10.5 to be pretty similar in most regards.
As far as your user information, everything related to your user will be in the /Users/username location. The "Library" folder is probably the most important when it comes to application related data such as Safari, Mail, Address Book, iCal, etc. Some applications will have a folder directly inside the library folder (/Users/Username/Library/ApplicationName) and some will store data in the Application Support folder (/Users/Username/Library/Application Support/ApplicationName)
The important thing, is that all of your user data is stored in the /Users/Username location that will often be represented by a "House" icon when signed into that user.
Where it gets a little tricky, is some applications will store data in the /Users/Shared location and the /Library location. So if you ever do a total system migration there's a possibility you'll need to reinstall some applications. A Time Machine backup can assist with system migrations as it does a full and complete backup of your HD, including the User's home folder.

They are all stored in the iPhoto Library. You would need to examine its contents to see them separately (outside of iPhoto).

It sounds like you might be able to write a .bat script to run the application, create a desktop icon for that and set its properties so it runs in the background.

Since starting with FCP X, there has been tons of issues, now that the product actually works with the exception above, makes it impossible to share the production. Has Apple fixed this problem. is there a knowledge base article on this?
On another note, One reason I have not purchased support on FCP X is because you sold a product that never worked for almost an entire year or more.   Now I can finally finish my project, I cannot share it.....Really. This has to be fixed now, I am loosing money as I typed this.

Just curious, why would repairing permissions, rebooting ( rebooted 2 times already today) or creating a new user possibly fix this.
I cannot create a new user, that is way too much work. I will repair permissions again, I repaired permissions just a few days ago. Then I will reboot, login and turn off App Nap and rerun the Share DVD.
There must be something seriously wrong with the OS if your are suggesting creating another user.   WOW!

Marketing Encyclopedia System : Where are the physical files located?

Hello All,
I've a Published Content (Oracle Marketing > Encyclopedia > Publish). A PDF File was attached under a particualr category/content type. The same shows up in 'My Published Items' in My Channels. The file opens fine when clicked on the link under the Category to which I attached this item.
Can anyone help me find where is this file (the PDF that I attached into the item) stored in the system? Does it reside as a BLOB in a database table or does the file reside somewhere on the UNIX Box? Any pointers on getting to the physical location of the files attached would be greately appreciated.

Portal Application components do not have any physical files. It is available as a package in the database. You can see it in the manage component screen. Clicking on the package body link will show you the whole package. You can copy this into a .SQL file and compile it later whenever you want, in the schema where the application is built.

Where are my edited files located?

I recently needed to make room on my PC so I transferred my entire Pictures folder onto my external hard drive. Apparently any photos I had edited in CS5 then saved in Lightroom were moved and I cannot find where they are saved to locate in Lightroom. When I click on them in Lightroom it just says "This folder cannot be found". Its only for photos edited in both Lightroom and CS5, any that were only in Lightroom can be found on my external hard drive where I backed them up, I'm only looking for files with "edit" in them (e.g. _DSC6181-edit.tif). Any help in finding these files that were apprently moved would be great, thanks!

There are no edited files. Lightroom stores all the adjustments in the catalog. It applies those adjustments to the image whenever you choose that image in Lightroom. Since you moved all of your images to the external hard drive, that is where they are located. And you are going to have to go through the process of linking everything up again.

8.1.7 LoadJava. Where do the class files get Stored

I am using an 8.1.7 Database. I have class files in my database that were loaded using loadjava. I want to extract these class files to do a binary comparison. Does anyone know where a users schema the actual class files are stored. In 9i i believe that they are stored in CREATE$JAVA$LOB$TABLE but they aren't stored there in my 8.1.7 database. Where should i be looking in an 8.1.7 database???

found a solution. In case it is of interest to anyone, using enterprise manager from a 9i client, connected to my 8.1.7 database, and under, schema--> user-->source types--> java classes. for each class, select the class and there is an option to export the class on the RHS. Selecting this, can export class files to hard drive.

Where is this class file located??
