Hi Jak,
You can define your own reports_path variable.
If you know unix a little make a search for the REPORTS_PATH in your <oracle_home>/bin directory.
I think it is in reports.sh
put there the directory you want. eg /applications/reports:$REPORTS_PATH
or you can add a named environment in your reports server engine
this is the <reports>.conf file in your <oracle_home>/reports/conf/ directory
eg
<environment id="Dev">
<envVariable name="REPORTS_PATH" value="/applications/reports"/>
</environment>

First you should not include the whole path to your report in the call ...
Use like this:
/ora/u01/oracle/v101/as2/bin/rwrun.sh report=an_stati destype=file desname=/ora/u01/oracle/v101/as2/test.pdf desformat=pdf
In $ORACLE_HOME/bin/reports.sh:
1) Verify that you have updated the REPORTS_PATH variable to include your folder where you have the report in question
REPORTS_PATH=/ora/u20/app/qits/env1/run:$ORACLE_HOME/reports/templates:$ORACLE_HOME/reports/samples/demo: ....
2) Verify that the REPORTS_TMP variable is pointing to a valid location and that the oracle user has access to write on it.
After that, post the content of the tracefile located at $ORACLE_HOME/reports/logs/{in-process report server name folder}/rwserver.trc
If no file is present then it means that you need to enable trace in your reports's conf file.... go to the $ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf folder and and locate the .conf file that correspond to your in-process reports server name (as specified in the rwservelet.properties file)... open/edit the file to enable trace logs ..
i.e.
Change the following line:

to <trace traceOpts="trace_all"/>
Bounce the reports server and try to run the report again, this time the .trc file should be generated, post the content so that we can take a look.

Scheduling a workbook where does the report write too?

I want to put some report jobs in the scheduler in the Discoverer desktop how can I tell Discoverer where to write the reports either in PDF or Excel format?

Where to store the results of scheduled workbooks?
Discoverer stores the results of scheduled workbooks in database tables. Before an
end user can schedule a workbook, you must decide which database user (schema)
is to own those tables. You have two choices as described in the table below:
The schema running the scheduled workbook:
The advantage of specifying the result set storage in the end userâs schema is that a database limit can be specified on the maximum amount of data an end user can store in the database. If the result set is stored under the end userâs schema, you keep control over the maximum amount of space one individual end user can fill with result sets. If the end user creates a scheduled workbook that fills the space, only that end userâs schema is affected.
A disadvantage is that it increases the maintenance overhead.
Note: Since Oracle Applications users often share the same secure database account, they are advised to create a scheduled workbook results schema to store the results of scheduled workbooks.
Scheduled workbook results schema:
The advantage of specifying the result set storage in a scheduled workbook results schema is that it is generally easier to manage than using multiple database user schemas. Also each end user does not need to set up
additional database privileges to run scheduled workbooks.
The disadvantage is that space quota is shared and so could be exhausted by a single end user.

Information Broadcast Email File - Where is the file in Unix directory?

Hi,
I am using Information Broadcasting to email the BI report. We use Unix as the application server.
In transaction SOSV, I can get detailed information on the file (attachment) and the send status. There is a requirement to encrypt the file in Unix server. Does anyone know where the file resides in Unix when the report is generated from Information Broadcasting? What's the Unix directory?
Any information would be appreciated.

I added the path of the servlet.jar to the CLASSPATH. Now my modified

With this I am executing the command: javac test.java. However, it is still giving lot of error messages
All the messages are 'cannot resolve symbol' associated with the Servlet class, Servlet Request, Server Exception etc. In the very first error message it states that: 'package javax.servlet does not exist'.

You'd get better response if you do some analysis and at least tell us where the two reports don't match.

luisurea: I'm not sure that the itemfile and vatfile records you indicate are being produced by RETL DWI batch code such as slsildmex.ksh. I assume you're running version 13 of DWI/RDW? What matters to RDW is that every row from the incoming RDWT file which slsildmex.ksh consumes, is output to slsildmdm.txt file, and that every row from slsildmdm.txt file is consumed and properly loaded to RDW target table sls_item_lm_dm table. DWI modules like slsildmex.ksh do have reject processing, for instance if an RMS.ITEM_LOC_SOH/ITEM_LOC record is not found for data in the RDWT file. In that case, the batch log and error (rfx/log and rfx/error) output of the run of slsildmex.ksh should have noted such a reject. I'm wondering if your itemfile and vatfile are artifacts of an RMS batch process such as posupld. If you're doing proper data validation from the RDWT file, to slsildmdm.txt file, to SLS_ITEM_LM_DM table in RDW, and the F_SLS_AMT (i.e. retail value) facts match how you have RMS/ReSA configured, then your sales integration to RDW is fine... and thsoe files might be more related to RMS sales uploading. Where can I find the "unix-batch-report-generator"?
I don't know how to call it, I'm talking about the utility that will allow me to generate reports under unix.
by the way I'm on Oracle Dev 6i and 9i database.
I'd like to know (can't find on web) if there's any incompatibility regarding reports and AIX OS.

FSG using Report Manger - Where are the reports stored?

I am able to configure the FSG in GL, and use Report Manager to produce PDF/Excel output.
Where are these reports physically stored? Are they in a database or in a file system? If so, what is the location?

Starting 11i, the reports are stored in table FND_LOBS and some relevant Entries are made in the FND_DOCUMENTS_TL table.
The packages used for storing and retrieving the reports are FND_DOCUMENTS_PKG and ADI_DISPLAY_REPORT.
RG_REPORT_REQUEST_LOBS stores the XML output associated with each Financial Statement Generator request that is run in XML mode.
The XML output is used for drilldown purposes.

If you set up the Find My iPhone service prior to your iPhone going missing, then there is a chance that can be tracked and locked, though it depends on a number of factors: the iPhone is turned on, connected to either the 3G or a WiFi network, or has not had the Find My iPhone service disabled or the iPhone been completely restored. Log into icloud.com and go to the Find My iPhone section. If you did not set up Find My iPhone, check with your cell carrier. Some carriers offer their own tracking service, though you usually have to sign up when you still have the phone and have to pay for the service.
If your carrier does not offer such a service and you did not set up Find My iPhone, then there is no way to track the unit nor lock it, though if you set a screenlock passcode, it would be locked already. Notify the police and your cell carrier, and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPhone (the iTunes Store, for instance).

I bought an application, the Translator with voice and does not work at all. I consider that is so pooly develop that is near a fraud. Where should I report it? Out of all imputs That I tried none was translated appropiate.

If it's not working as described then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

App store reports Pinball HD and 11 other apps cannot be purchased at this time.....

App store reports "Pinball HD and 11 other apps cannot be purchased at this time"..... This occurs whenever I log into the app store. I have already purchased this app (and presumably the 11 others as well). I believe this started when it showed up as an app I should update (for free).
My wife and I share this iPad and we have apps purchased under two different store accounts on this machine. I have tried to log off and sign in with her account and then check updates but with either account I am told that all apps are up to date. All of our credit card info is current. Any clues?

This is an iPad 1 - I've had it since it first came out (ordered directly from Apple). Lots of apps and purchases over the years. My wife got her own WiFi only iPad shortly after mine as she fell in love with it and I don't share well. ;) This only started about 7-10 days ago. I did not update to iOs 5.1 until last night so this predates that. My concern is that when the iPad 3 arrives next Friday that this will transfer over.
Ever since my wife received her own iPad our purchases are pretty much separate.

when i open a report in unix by using rwbld60 , it is saying that you are using older version of report builder you might have lose the functionality,
if i still click on continue the report is automatically closing off.
so what is solution to get that report open and need to do some changes it is an urgent.

rwbld60 is for Oracle Report 6i. The report you are trying to open was developed using a newer version of Report Builder though. Simply look for rwbuilder in ORACLE_HOME/bin/ instead of rwbld60 or install the newer version of Oracle Report Builder if you don't have it yet. Note, that you may have several Oracle Homes in your development environment so check them all or do a search for rwbuilder in your system. You have to use the same version of Developer Suite that was used for creating your report.

I am not doing it in ITunes, but i did down load the song from ITunes. I loaded the song on to my Nano, but in my menu selections it doesn't show the song or the artist in any search format. However, when i plug in my nano to my PC I see the Nano library on my PC drive listings and that song and artist are there. I can click on the song and it will play in Windows media on my work PC. I did notice that the format for most all the songs in my library on my Nano are MPEG - 4 audio Files.
