On the window of activation logging in there is link "activation help" and by clicking it after typing my Apple ID and password, a window appears saying that my iPhone could not be activated because activation server cannot be reached and asking me to try activating on iTunes or trying again later and if this problem persists I should contact Apple support...
I tried activating on iTunes and the same message appeared that my Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPhone and I tried activating many times for two days on my iPhone and iTunes and nothing is working... I also tried to call Apple service number in Slovakia (0800004640) and they said for iPhone I should contact my carrier network which I contacted already and they didn't help at all as I mentioned before... In the end of my tries I went to iCloud finder to find my iPhone on my account and I didnt find it there because I never set up iCloud on my iPhone before...
I don't know really what to do as I'm the first and the only owner and my Apple ID is the only linked to this iPhone, even on the window of activation logging in it is written there that this iPhone is currently linked to an Apple ID (b*****@yahoo.com) which is true ... This iPhone is unlocked one and it was working in Saudi Arabia and Egypt with various SIM Cards... My iPhone was connected to a wifi internet when I tried to activate it and when I tried activation by iTunes I was using my laptop with windows 7 which was connected to internet by cable.
I updated my iPhone to IOS 7 when I was in Egypt and I had no problems with updating it and I can't remember if finding my iPhone option was on or off before updating to IOS 7 and as i understood from searching internet that to use iCloud Finder on web from computer to find my iPhone it should be set up already on my iPhone and I didn't set up iCloud on my iPhone before and my Apple ID wasn't verified for iCloud till today, I verfied it by logging in iCloud from a friend iPad.
I was considering already the option that my iPhone has been hacked but if this happened so how I would unlock my iPhone and activate it to back to work? who would help me with that? How can I use the update operation in a VC Model
Hello experts,
i try to to use the update operation in my VC model. I have developed an AS wich return a table. Now i want to update a table row. So I add the update operation to my model. But it doesn´t work. I mapped all attribute between the table and the update service. The event name is submit.
Another strange thing is: If i try to update in the service browser it cames the error message that the vandatory attribute ... is missing.
Any ideas??

In this case it is possible that your update service requires a mandatory parameter which you are not providing.
When you drag your service onto the VC screen, right click on the service and test it.It will give you a clear picture of which parameters are required by the service and besides you can also use some test data to check if the service is working properly.

thanksIf you are trying to decide on a platform, I would recommend that you look at Swingbench and run your own benchmarks on various platforms using vendor "try and buy" options. Sun is great for allowing a 90 day "try and buy" where you could try a wide range of platforms and I am guessing other vendors would do the same. Using Swingbench I recently found that an older Sun X6220 (blade server) was for 50 Swingbench users faster than a T6340, T2000, M5000 and older V890. Single threaded SQL was especially slow on the SPARC/T while the M5000 was comparable to the X6220 (again for 50 users). This is significant because the M5000 is much more expensive than the X6220 (a blade server).
For a small number of users, say 50 users and under, I like Solaris/x86 unless there will be lots of IO which is where SPARC and the M series scales up very well. 50+ users hammering on a DB, Solaris/SPARC is my first choice. If you are just getting started and are not in love with any platform, check out Oracle Unbreakable Linux. -

(2)to get the not matched 900 records from A to another table D.
By the requirement like above, which operator could i use for?
I tried to use joined but can not get the record of (2).

I have an iphone 3g which brought him use me when I brought it worked fine, I updated the system to 4.3.3 and no longer recognizes any network operator, look at the baseband and 5.16.02 and says it is it does not recognize anything I can do? the operator to buy my iphone was a 4 but it was stolen, I thought I could use this but aparentementeno, I can do to make it recognize my carrier? thanks
Looks like you have relocked a hacked phone when you updated. The only way to fix it would be if you could figure out the original carrier and see if they would unlock it.

Using the Model Facade Pattern in a Java EE 5 Web application

Question 1) the first part of the tech tip(it has two articles in it) http://java.sun.com/mailers/techtips/enterprise/2006/TechTips_Nov06.html showed how to access Java Persistence objects directly from a JSF managed bean, is this a good practice?
Question 2) when to use a facade(as mentioned in the second part of tech tip) ?
and maybe
Question 3) why doesn't the platform make this easier and provide the facade for you?
Briefly, I will take a shot at answering these three questions
Answer 1) You can access Java persistence directly from your managed beans, but as your application grows and you start to add more JSF managed beans or other web components(servlets, JSP pages etc) that also directly access Java Persistence objects, you will start to see that you are cutting/pasting similiar code to handle the transactions and to handle the Java Persistence EntityManager and other APIs in many places. So for larger applications, it is a good practice to introduce a model facade to centralize code and encapsulate teh details of the domain model management
Answer 2) IAs mentioned in answer 1, its good to use a model facade when your application starts to grow. For simple cases a spearate model facade class may not be needed and having managed beans do some of the work is a fast way to jumpstart you application development. But a facade can help keep the code clean and easier to maintain as the aplication grows.
Answer 3) First note that both of the articles in the tech tip were about pure web apps(not using any EJBs) and running on the Java EE5 platform. Yes it would be nice if a facility like this was made available for web-only applications(those not using EJBs). But for web-only applications you will need to use a hand-rolled facade as we outlined in the tech tip. The Java EE platform does provide a way to make implementing a facde easier though, and the solution for that is to use a Session Bean. This solution does require that you use ythe EJB container and have a Session Bean facade to access your Java Persistence objects and manage the transactions. The EJB Session Facade can do a lot of the work for you and you dont have to write code to manage the transactions or manage the EntityManager. This solution was not covered in this tech tip article but is covered in the Java BluePrints Solutions Catalog for Perssitence at

I'm working on an implementation of the Model Facade pattern where you can possibly have many facades designed as services. Each service extends a basic POJO class which I'm calling CRUDService: its short code is provided below for your convenience.
The CRUDService class is meant to generalize CRUD operations regardless of the type of the object being used. So the service can be called as follows, for example:

SERVICE.create(flightAtt);
Runway r = (Runway) SERVICE.read(Runway.class, 2);
Employee e = (Employee) SERVICE.read(Employee.class, 4);
SERVICE.update(e);
SERVICE.delete(r);SERVICE is a Singleton, the only instance of some service class extending CRUDService. Such a class will always include other methods encapsulating named queries, so the client won't need to know anything about the persistence layer.
Please notice that, in this scenario, DAOs aren't needed anymore as their role is now distributed among CRUDService and its subclasses.
My questions, then:
. Do you see any obvious pitfalls in what I've just described?
. Do you think traditional DAOs should still be used under JPA?
. It seems to me the Model Facade pattern isn't widely used because such a role can be fulfilled by frameworks like Spring... Would you agree?

I have Adobe Elements 9 and I used to be able to export HD 1080p videos with no issue. But recently, when I export using H.264 MPEG or MPEG 2, which I normally used, the high resolution videos come out very choppy. How can i fix this?

Are you running the 9.0.1 Update of the program and on what computer operating system is it running?
Is your video card/graphics card driver up to date according to the manufacturer of the card?
Is your computer optimized, including maintenance of pile ups of preview files, conformed audio files, and conformed video files?
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1?
What are your project settings and what are the properties of your source media? When you say that "used to be able to export...." is that on the same computer, same brand/model/settings for the camera recording the video now in use, same Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1?
Where player are you using for the playback of these exports?
Please give us more details on the size of the projects (then and now) as well as details of the customized export settings in your Share/Computer/ route. Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 is only a 32 bit application running in 32 bit or 64 bit system. Not sure if computer resources might be taxed more so now than before.

Of course, EA-Terms are different from the ones for the production release. To illustrate the example with software from another company: It was possible to download betas of Microsoft Windows "for free", but it was just for evaluation, testing and "early adopting" purposes, not for productive use. Similar rules apply here. The final release will definetly not be published with that EA License. Oracle has published a draft of the final terms so you get an idea of what you'll be allowed to do with the software you evaluate when it will be released.

When you said you used the Reg Exp tool, did you use it only as
preconfigured by the iMT migrate application wizard?
Because the default configuration of the regular expression tool will only
target the files in your ND project directories. If you wish to target
classes outside of the normal directory scope, you have to either modify the
"Source Directory" property OR create another instance of the regular
expression tool. See the "Tool" menu in the iMT to create additional tool
instances which can each be configured to target different sets of files
using different sets of rules.
Usually, I utilize 3 different sets of rules files on a given migration:
spider2jato.xml
these are the generic conversion rules (but includes the optimized rules for
ViewBean and Model based code, i.e. these rules do not utilize the
RequestManager since it is not needed for code running inside the ViewBean
or Model classes)
I run these rules against all files.
See the file download section of this forum for periodic updates to these
rules.
nonProjectFileRules.xml
these include rules that add the necessary
RequestManager.getRequestContext(). etc prefixes to many of the common
calls.
I run these rules against user module and any other classes that do not are
not ModuleServlet, ContainerView, or Model classes.
appXRules.xml
these rules include application specific changes that I discover while
working on the project. A common thing here is changing import statements
(since the migration tool moves ND project code into different jato
packaging structure, you sometime need to adjust imports in non-project
classes that previously imported ND project specific packages)
So you see, you are not limited to one set of rules at all. Just be careful
to keep track of your backups (the regexp tool provides several options in
its Expert Properties related to back up strategies).

I would be very keen to get hold of a copy of the 'tactic' document you
mention below, as well as the sample code you mention to replace CspDBResult
stuff with JDBC results.

In the present ND project we have lots of utility classes. These
classes in diffrent directory. Not part of nd pages.
In these classes we access the dataobjects and do the manipulations.
So we access dataobjects directly like

and then execute it.
Since the migration tool does not do much of conversion for these
utilities we have to do manually.
My question is Can we access the the models in the post migration
sameway or do we need requestContext?
We have lots of utility classes which are DataObject intensive. Can
someone suggest a better way to migrate this kind of code.

1099 Reporting for Multiple Operating Units using same Tax Id Number
Everyone!!!!
We have multiple operating units using the same tax id number. We need to use the 1099 standard reports. I see that in the 1099 standard programs, one of the necessary parameters is Tax Entity Id which is again at operating unit level.
As 1099 reports need to be sent at the Tax Id Number not at operating unit level, is there any way to use the starndard program and do this, or will we have to customize it?
We are on 11.5.10.2 if it matters. Let me know if you need more information.Ok, I Found it. We have to customize it. Taxes are reported at Operating Unit level only.
