Which SD Table holds the Technical Object Information?

I am writing a report in SQ01 and can't find an SD table holding the technical objects information from the Sales contracts or orders. Can anyone suggest a table or which tables to joins I need. .

Which table holds the link between Purchase requisition and Reservations ?

Hi Guys,
We are using MRP and as a result of the MRP run the reservations are converted to purchase requisition. When i look at transaction MD04 it shows me the Purchase requisition against a reservations.
I would like to know which table holds this information? I mean which table will give me the reservations tied to a purchase requisition or vice a versa.
I have looked into RESB and RSBD but could not find what i am looking at. RESB table has BANFN field for purchase requisition but this field is not populated. RSBD table hold the Purchase requisition and reservations but it only holds the relation for Direct procurement and not for all.
Any idea where i can find the Preq and Reservations created through MRP run?

Which table holds the Shopping Cart Approval Manager Name

Can any one please let me know which table holds the Approving Manger Name. Please find the scenario below.
Employee creates the Shopping Cart and forward the SC for Approval to Approval Manger. But approval manager will take some time to approve the shopping cart. I need to extract the approving manager's name who has still not approved the shopping cart into SAP BW.

This is not answer. Just feedback from my project experience.
I know some customer developed this kind of report which shows approver but they used the report only the first 1 month after go live. Approval monitoring was fun but you need someone who monitor it. Finally they realized high monitoring admin cost. Final solution was Alert Notification with BBP_ALERTING BADI which sends email to approver and admin when deadline is reached.

Which SQL table holds opening balance?

Dear all,
I want to use crystal report to draw financial information directly from SQL database.
However, I don't know which SQL table stores the open/ending balance of account item
of a given period.

So how is the calculation? Below is my guess. Please comment.
For example, opening balance of account 1234 is $100DB.
If I want to find opening balance of account 1234 as at period 2.
Summing up all journal entries in period 1 to find the total debit/credit.(for example : $150DB)
And add up the two ($100DB + $150DB) to get $250DB.
This is the opening balance of account 1234 as at period 2.
For opening balance as at period 3, sum up all journal entries in period 1 and 2.
Add the result to opening balance.
Please comment.
I wonder if SDK DI has any COM object to get the result directly.

ABAP MM: In ME21N which internal table holds Actual Price (Including Taxes)

Using tcode ME21N, while creating new PO, which internal table holds Actual price (Including Taxes) of whole PO (not by item) , assuming PO is not saved.
In the program, I want to capture the total cost of whole PO including taxes as soon as user enter the items. So that I can make some processing according to the total amount of PO.

Which SAP table stores the ABAP source code .
Is it possible to retrieve the abap program code from database table
wherein it is stored .
Scenario :
In our project SAP got decommissioned and SAP database is migrated to Oracle . As SAP is decomissioned , we are not able to access the SAP frontend . But we need a program code to service a request . Is it possible to retrieve the program code from the database
which is migrated to oracle .

This is an interesting question as the answer is may be different depending on your version. For example, in new releases the table REPOSRC appears to hold a compress version of the course code in the DATA field, but you would need to be able to decompress it if trying to read this directly out of the DB. I would assume that it uses gZip to do the compression, and there are ABAP utilities built in to do the compress/decompress. Of course you can always read the source code by using the READ REPORT statement in any release, but of course this will not help you if you can not log on to your system. Basically, if you system is corrupt for some reason, the best option is to restore from a backup.

I'd like to find out the relationship of the component materials inside a task list (IA07).
I've found DB table PLKO and PLPO holding the data for task and operations respectively. Inside an operation, there are components. I just can't find the DB table holding the components by F1 and where-used list ...

We are using BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA to create contract. While loading, we need to update Equipment Number (Tecnical Objects) into too. However, wea re unable to map the field. Any help?

I came to know that task has status like unreleased, pending, queued, dispatched, active, loaded and completed.
What is the table name, If their is a specific table that can hold the status of all the status, if not what are all tables that are getting effected in this process.
for example:
order number has status and it is maintained in or_order_headers and oe_order_lines. as the process changes wsh_deliveries, wsh_delivery_details, wsh_delivery_assignments,... etc will get effected.
The similar way, in our case what is the main derived table like(order_headers, lines) and if their is a process what will be the underlined tables which are getting effected.

Hello Jack,
If you have restricted access to use PA20, then you would also have some restrictions for using transaction PPOME.
If you search for PPOM / PPOME then you will find some more information on them to assign roles to positions.

Which table holds the reserved stock

Hi All,
In report - MMBE there are two columns unrestricted stock and reserved stock. Can you kindly share how this reserved stock is calculated which table/field holds the reserved stock. If I run the MMBE report now if it is determining the reserved stock assuming it comes from RESB which holds reservations what field in RESB gives me the reserved stock and how many days or what logic does MMBE use to calculate the reserved stock.

I am working on solution manager and i was wondering if there were a way to get the informations i had directly in tables using the SE16 transaction. So my question is the following: is there a way to extract data like test plan, status text, test object, test instructions, user, date, time from SAP tables. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Looking at another of Tracy's other post (http://scn.sap.com/thread/3598947) she's trying to use ACL. Hence needing to know the tables to write joins/queries to hit tables within ACL
I've seen ACL used and have had the fun experience of Auditors using Google to find tables to perform checks on without context of what has actually been implemented in their particular system.

The most common overviews with respect to sales and distribution can be obtained from CN54N/ CN55N or you can also use CNS54 / CNS55. Tables for the same are VBAK/ VBAP.
For materials you can refer to CN52N overviews for material components and CO24 for missing parts.
For resources, CN50N provides the capacity requirements and CMP9 workforce planning.
