While presenting in keynote I inadvertently flipped the presentation display on my screen with the playing presentation on the wall through the projector. Can't figure out how to flip it back. Help

There has to be some kind of code somewhere within the package. The disk itself does not contain one. You can look here for help with finding your serial number:

Anyone having trouble with the new update for 2010 mac book air 10.8.2 ? My 2010 Macbook Air has crashed 15times since the 10.8.2 update. Have only once since owning it.

Turned out the hardware was bad. Apple exchanged it for a new Mac Air and the new trackpad works great. Thank goodness it was a defect. If the trackpads all worked like that I would have been bummed.

I wasn't aware that VueScan charged a yearly license.
You simply launch Image Capture and if the scanner is recognized it will be listed in the SHARED list in the left display column. Select the scanner name and the app will start an overview scan. You will also see a list of scanning options in the right display column (resolution, paper size, file output format, etc.
The above description is when everything is working correctly, which has been the case for me.

I go to authorize it and it says that all my authorizatiuons aree used on that account but it doesnt allow me to deauthorize any pf the devices --- and it says i cant deauthorize all of them untio octiber 2012 - what and how do i change the devices

A Thunderbolt cable won't work. Use a Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort, or Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort, cable.

Why can't I change the font size on the menu bars for my mac book air?

The text is just too small sometimes. Are there any third party apps that can help with this, apparently apple is under the impression everyone has perfect vision? Is this some crazy request? I was reading through the forums and this has been a problem for a while now. Whilst on the theme, why when changing photo image durations, the value in time entered does not relate to the image(s) selected? I enter 1.8seconds, and 0.9 is displayed against the selected image.......

The usb ports on my mac book air seem not to work

So, they do but it seems selective. On my 2008 iMac I would plug in my thumb drive and it was near instant but on my MBA ill plug it in on the right side and it rarely works but my mouse works fine there. On the left side it takes a few seconds then it works but it seems longer than my older macs. This computer isn't old about a week old, so ideas. Its not a mounting issue it dosen't show up in the disk utility, until it works.

That number means that you have an event invitation. Use iCal>View>Show Notifications to choose what to do with the notification. Since OS X 10.7.2 is required for iCloud integration, I am not surprised that there are anomalies between the iPhone and the MacBook Pro.

Your advice did not help me. I also installed 10.7.4 combo but the situation is the same.
my internet connection is ok, mail is ok, but app store after 3 resets does not recognize my ID and it says "connection is not possible". Why? In August I bought a new Mac Book Air prepackaged with Lion OSX.
At home I have an iMac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Since I purchased a copy of Lion prepackaged with the Mac Book Air, is there some way I can use my Mac Book Air copy of Lion to upgrade my iMac?
Or do I need to purchase a copy of Lion specially for the iMac?
I live in Japan, so it's hard to get clear English advice sometimes!

You need to buy a copy for your iMac. The version that comes with your MBA cannot be transferred.

How do I unlock file permissions on an external flash drive connected to a mac book air?

Hi there, I have just synced my I tunes library to I Tunes on my mac book air using a WD external flash drive (which I have always used as my storage drive for my entire library and was previously running on a Sony Vaio PC) and although I can now see and play all my files I can't download new content as I get an error message stating "there was a problem downloading.... you don't have priveleges to make changes" which from my research is because the flash drive I tunes folder permissions within it are locked to read only.
Which is where the problem lies as I can't see anyway to change this when clicking on the drives in my devices and going to the get info option, as although it shows the permission status - you can't edit that?
Note I know this is the issue as if I change the I tunes media folder location back to the defualt folder as the hard drive on the mac book I can then download new files no problem, however I dont want to store my content on the hard drive of my mac book air as my library is over 300gb and want to keep it all on the external (as I always did when running I tunes on my PC).

If the drive is formatted as MS-DOS or exFAT, use the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder to repair it.
If it's formatted as NTFS, either reformat it or install third-party software which enables the Mac to write to NTFS drives.

The track pad on my mac book air periodically stops working (over the past couple of days it has not worked about 90% of the time. Even if i use a mouse the clicker on the mouse does not work. Not settings have been changed.
