White spaces b.w regions... how to fix them...?

I've created few regions on a page... I am hiding/showing couple of them based on the selection from a radio group...
my issue is that, for some odd reason I am getting additional white spaces for some of the selections (and not for all of them)...

You are using dynamic actions to hide items rather than the regions containing them. This leaves elements of the region visible as extra space. Also the choice of region template may not be appropriate and include elements that generate extra space (the Button Region without Title template doen't seem right for the Proj_Order region as this doesn't contain any buttons). Use a browser with a web inspector tool (Safari, Chrome, or Firefox+Firebug) to find the elements generating the unwanted space.
Either:
<li>Change the DAs to hide the regions as a whole rather than the individual items (use static region IDs to provide DA selectors).
<li>Retain the DAs that operate at item level, but use fewer regions, e.g. move the items into a single region.
As Re: Image rollover, you may be using too many separate regions. This isn't wrong (in many ways its a good thing) but there should be good reasons for doing so, and you should take advantage of there being separate regions by working with regions as whole. Also consider using subregions to group related regions.
A clearer naming convention for Dynamic Actions would also be a good idea: the current ones give no clue to what they do.

Try restoring the iPod. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I found this article by @digitaltrends on Twitter as I'm researching the Sony Xperia Z2. I hope these issues have been address, especially WiFi dropping. I'm interested in the Z2 because of the Noise Canceling feature, now I will have to do more research to find out which phone is more stable (even though it's a software thing).
Can anyone with xperince with Z1, Z2, Z3 which they feel is the most stable for daily usage and heavy videoing projects? Realiability being the key?

IPod and scraches, how to fix them?

I have a 5G (Video) iPod. I was SOO careful with it waiting to pick out the perfect case that would suit me and the way I use my iPod, but one day when I went to pick a case out I brought the iPod with me to the store in my pocket. After making my puchase, without thinking I put the change the cashier gave me in my pocket. when I got home I seen where the rough egdes of the quarters and dimes make small scraches on one spot on the left side of the screen. there not too noticable until Im on the main screen of the iPod with its white background or when watching video where a bright image moves across where the spot of scraches are. My question is can anyone suggest how to fix the scraches? Should I use some acrylic cleaner to "Remove" or "Fill in" the scraches, or should I find a place that will replace the whole acrylic cover of the iPod? I thought about sending it into apple for repairs but I don't want a replaced iPod, I want to keep the one I have, and just have the front acrylic cover repaired or replaced.

Why do i keep getting these errors and how to fix them?!?!?

first time i tried inserting a spry data set using a XML source i got the message "expected equal sign(7,10)". since i could not figure out how to fix it a started a new. this time i am getting the message "unterminated entity reference, 'm'(25,27)". i really want to get the 2nd message fixed because the xml sheet is exactly how i want it.
also is there a place where i can look up what all these messages mean and get a clue as to what is wrong?

Welcome panel leaves white box in Thunderbird GUI: how to fix?

After a reboot, I opened Thunderbird 13.4.0 on my Mac Pro (Mavericks) to find that the Welcome Panel disappears to leave a corresponding white area on Thunderbird. See the attached screenshots. Starting in safe mode fixes the problem. I deactivated all add-ons and did a normal T-bird start, but the Welcome panel and obscuring white area re-appear as before. I tried deactivating hardware acceleration, by going into config and changing both gfx.direct2d.disabled layers.acceleration.disabled to TRUE. Surprisingly, I only found the second of these entries, changing it to TRUE and restarting Thunderbird. To no avail, the welcome screen and its problem still occur. The white area obscures the GUI independent of whether Inbox, Drafts, or other items in the left-hand panel are activated. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Oops, screenshot upload failed. Here are the screen shots. By the way, if I open a mail in its own tab, there is no problem. But return to showing Inbox or Sent and the blank area is still there. I also unchecked the 'show Start Page' in Preferences > General. This removes the start page graphic, but the white area remains. I tried opening a new window, but the new window is also afflicted.
In View > Layout, I selected classic view, instead of wide view. The problem appears to be specific to wide view. Vertical view is also not affected. For my part, I'd be very happy just to use classic view, but then maybe the display under wide view should be fixed, or the option removed.

Missing Disk Space....How to Fix This?

I've got a 60gb Macbook. I'm using Whatsize to figure out what's been eating my hard disk space, but it still doesn't make sense. I'm the only user on my computer, and my home folder says I've used about 43 gigs with about 12 left. Using Whatsize, it calculates my use to be about 21 gigs, which is what I figured it to be, adding up my music, photos, docs, and apps. But on the sidebar of the Whatsize app, it says that I've used 43 gigs in my home folder. So what is eating up the extra 22-ish gigs on my hard disk that my home folder says I'm supposedly using? I was poking around Whatsize and under Macintosh HD-->Users, I found something weird. I've got 2 accounts under the same name ".USER" and "USER". The one without the period before it contains all of my files and docs and stuff (and 21 gigs, exactly what I've been using), while the other one just says "USER.sparseimage" and the sparseimage is 26 gigs! What is the sparseimage and can I delete it? If anyone can help, I'd appreciate this! Thanks!

I had the same problem with FileVault (FV) on my MacBook when I deleted a master copy of a iphoto DVD. The cdr file (ca. 5GB) disappeared but the space was still occupied.
What worked for me was simply turning on USE SECURE VIRTUAL MEMORY in the FV preferences (Preference Panel). FV (Mac OS X 10.4.10) requested a restart and then asked me whether I desired a cleanup of my disc.
Confirm FV's cleanup request and let it restart. You should have that missing disc space back afterwards.
Hope this works for you guys also. If you are interested, www.omnigroup.com has a great program to check where your disc space has gone (Disc Sweeper) and I advise to always get the AppleCare. Have had a few macs and not one worked the way it should.

Duplicates in Cloud and how to fix them?

I have duplicates, triplicates, etc of the same pictures in the Cloud. I have cleaned up all of the pictures in my Gallery so there are no duplicates there and I have tried to do the same with the Cloud but it is a never ending job! Can someone please tell me how to clean this mess up? Thank you!

These messages occur if permissions are incorrect on your designated music folder or on a folder inside your designated music folder. Permissions are settings that determine who can read, write to, or execute a file or folder on your computer. Every file and folder on your hard disk has an associated set of permissions.
Example: If permissions are correct on your Music folder, but incorrect on the U2 folder inside your Music folder, you would be able to add other music to your iTunes library, but not that new U2 album.

Tweaks to the language system and how to fix them

First off, I love the fact that now you can actually scroll through the list by continuing to hit the spacebar as you hold down the command key. That's great, and it saves me a whole lot of going up to the menu bar to change around.
That said, this update seems to have broken a whole lot of things that used to work before:
• As opposed to being instant, switching seems to lag now, and sometimes doesn't even switch where expected, but skips down the list a couple
• Some of the extra conversion features in Kotoeri don't work anymore (e.g. Convert to Related Character, which I relied on quite a bit before when trying to input characters I didn't know readings to offhand). It appears in the menu, but remains greyed out.
• The Chinese Text Conversion services now only show up contextually, and only if the text is all one or the other. Rather appreciated it when you could blanket convert all of the traditional characters in a text down or all of the simplified characters up, but now I've got to select in targeted and sometimes intermingled sections to get that same functionality. I realize that Chinese text conversion isn't necessarily as simple as 后 always equals 後 and so on, however the system under Leopard did it pretty much exactly as I needed every time.
Is there any way to fix any of the above?

Every time I type 'in' when using SMS or email on the iphone 4 it corrects it to ' I'n ' - which last time I looked wasn't even a word! Any ideas on how to deal with this as the iphone doesn't seem to have anyway of saving correct spellings.

EAR BUD Headphone Problems .. the how to fix them thread!

Hi Guys,
Said I would start off this thread for all those with EAR BUD Headphone problems. Specifically:
- Those with ONE SIDE quieter than the other
- Those with ONE or BOTH sides completely gone.
This would apply to those who own Creative players with Ear Bub Phones supplied or the like.
I think I have a solution to those with "ONE SIDE quieter than the other". If you pull off the rubber gels from the phones you will see a MESH. You might notice an ear wax buildup on the outside of this mesh. Dont bother cleaning it yet. Now you may have to do something you wont like - Use a Jewelers Screwdriver OR some tool equally thin to POP OUT the mesh. Now turn the mesh around. You should now see the problem - HUGE WAX BUILDUP on the under side. NOW clean both sides if you wish, but you might be at a hiding for nothing - I challenge you to get the mesh back in. Not to worry - the phones and sound should now be back as it was in day one. Stick the GELS back on without the mesh. Also behind that mesh maybe a piece of foam. Up to you what you want to do with this ...
It seems this WAX buildup issue on the underside of the mesh in EAR BUDS is a common problem across all makes. I have a Creative, Seinheiser and Philips set - all with the same issue. I did the above on all - now all are back working fine.
Of course you may have to be on WAX lookout more frequently if you cannot get the MESH back in, which maybe the case most of the time. It would seem the very device - the mesh - that protects the buds from WAX buildup is causing a problem itself ..
WITH respect to issues with NO SOUND on either or both sides, this maybe a cracked wire, usually up around the bud end. One thing I have not figured out in most Ear Buds is how to open the casing - over to somebody else for this,

That's a bit trickier. I think I'd select the text from the beginning of the frame wher the continuation starts and cut to the clipboard, then paste at the end of the text in the frame from where it should continue. That frame should now show an overset, and you should have a bunch of empty linked frames where the text was previously located.
Turn on show text threads and find the first out port in front of the now empty frame and click it, then click inside the same frame (or double click the outport should work too). This will break the thread at that frame, but leave the empties threaded together so you can pick up the overset and flow it back in from the other page.

2 questions on what's wrong and how to fix them

I have been using sueface rt for quite some time now and recently, I've started facing issues with some areas and have been unable to find answers anywhere. hoping that someone will be able to help me with my problems as it is getting pretty irritating.
1.) unable to change account picture and lockscreen background.
2.) unable to find updates for both xbox music and video player in the store
as what 1 and 2 have suggested, some things are going wrong. tried finding answers online and tried what they suggested but to no avail. i'm not sure whether is it because I have downloaded music from websites and hence they are unable to function properly
but have tried deleting them and still got the same results. anyone has been in the same situation and found solutions to them?? please suggest some as I really have no idea what to do anymore. thanks :)
