Whitespace Required

Hi All,
I have made one composite which is invoking WSDL of RequestorABCS for PurchaseOrder once it is getting the Transaction Type as PURCHASE ORDER, but while deploying it, it is getting stuck saying following line.
"Cannot read WSDL "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/ABCSImpl/EBM_/Industry/SARAH_/ETH_CreatePOEBM_SARAH_ReqABCSImpl/V1.0}ETH_CreatePOEBM_SARAH_ReqABCSImpl" from Metadata Manager.: WSDLException: faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Invalid XML in document at: http://usmtnz-dinfap19.dev.emrsn.org:8120/soa-infra/services/ETH_Temp/ETH_CreatePOEBM_SARAH_ReqABCSImpl/ETH_CreatePOEBM_SARAH_ReqABCSImpl, line: {1}, column: {2}: oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLParseException: Whitespace required.</summary>"
Once I open the WSDL file, I am not seeing any issue with it. Not sure, why it is coming as INVALID XML in document and in detail, WHITESPACE REQUIRED is coming.
Please assist me on this as it is hampering my project.
Thanks,
Dhiraj Mishra

  • LOGO in PDF file (Apache FOP)

    Hi all...I'm using the Apache FOP PDF printing option with the jsp packaged in the AppEx 3.0.1 install. I would like to put a logo in the header of the generated PDF file. I made a compy of the default generic columns layout and added this to the header section in Page Template:

    </fo:static-content>
    I can access the image through my web browser using the URL, but my log is throwing these errors:

    Could the fo block be in the wrong place in the document? I'm not very familiar with XSL-FO and may have just placed it wrong.
    One other thing I just noticed. The webserver is actually using SSL, which on windows systems results in a pop-up about security. If I change the URL to https using the SSL port, I receive a message about security certificates.
    Thanks,
    Leigh

  • Problem deploying to BPEL-container from JDeveloper

    Hi - after searching for a solution both here and on Metalink for some time, I've reached the point where I think I need to post my problem:
    (I've already posted this on the JDeveloper forum - and been directed to this forum from there.)
    On client; Windows XP with JDeveloper 10.1.3.4.0, on server Windows Server 2003 with Oracle SOAsuite 10.1.3.
    Created a very simple bpel process (ftp get a remote file -> write locally) that I want to deploy on the dedicated SOA-server.
    From JDeveloper, the "Application Server and ESB Server connections checks out fine. But the "BPEL Process Manager Server" check failes with the error:
    "BPEL Identity Service: Failed" - Details: "oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLParseException:Whitespace required."
    I have not found any postings/info on the "Whitespace required" error anywhere... mighty strange....
    I'm therefore unable to use the BPEL Process Deployer, it states that "Server Mode: Server is unreachable".
    I've triple-checked all ports etc. The Integration Server Connection is using port 80.
    I'm able to access and open the BPELConsole (& EM & ESB) on the server from my JDeveloper workstation.
    A "opmnctl status -l" on the SOA-server gives:

    HI ALL...
    i am no wfacing with the same problem, tried restarting the services also but the problem persists.
    The test connection status from jdeveloper for application and integration server shows success always. But when trying to deploy, the domain is always refresh state. From the BPEL process deployer, the server status is unreachable.
    my bpel pm 10.1.2 is on application server 10.1.2 and my jdev is 10.1.3.3
    JDEV version i thunk should not be problem at this level i think.
    Please suggest....

    I cannot find the "deploy_service" as a separate service on my server however. Only the hw_services are up and running, but it contains a "deploy" web module.
    Would be immensely grateful for any information that might help me further in solving this issue, as I'm rather stuck right now....

  • XSU Generated Schemas and DTDs are bad input for oracg

    Hi,
    I'm trying to write a utility that accepts a database schema name and writes XML Schemas and a DTDs for each table based on a:
    select * from table_name
    over each table in the schema. I would then like to use those files as input to the oracg utility to produce java files. There are some problems though. The DTD representation is not meant as a standalone DTD. In other words its of the form:
    <!DOCTYPE NAME [
    ...dtd defs here ...
    ]>
    which oracg doesn't like. Its not a big deal to do some post processing and delete the DOCTYPE defenition, but then oracg barfs with the following error:

    Disabling the event polling has helped to some extent. I did not have any Command cache properties set and had event polling enabled. This came by default. Oracle support rep has told that he had seen miscellaneous errors with enabling the event poll while the chache properties are not set.
    This has helped when I deploy cis-admin application to the Oracle 10g app server on a windows machine but again, when I do the same on another machine i.e. a unix machine (I doubt if operating system would be the cause) it did not work.

  • Oracle.xml.sql.OracleXMLSQLException: Expected name instead of .

    Hi,
    I'm using XDK in Tomcat to execute queries and get the XML result in the browser. I have written many queries but now I'm having problems in one of them.
    The error output that I see in my browser is this one:
    <ROOT>
    <ERROR>
    oracle.xml.sql.OracleXMLSQLException: Expected name instead of <.
    </ERROR>
    </ROOT>:
    This error message is known as XML-20126 but it's not documented in the XML Developer's Kit Programmer's Guide, so I don't know what to do.
    My XSQL query is the following:
    <ROOT connection="xxxx_read" xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql">
    <xsql:query>
    SELECT XMLAGG(XMLELEMENT("NODE",
    XMLELEMENT("name", b.nodename),
    (SELECT XMLAGG(XMLELEMENT("SERVICE",
    XMLATTRIBUTES(a.serviceabbr AS "type")
    ORDER BY a.serviceabbr
    FROM service a, serviceinstance c
    WHERE c.isdeleted='N'
    AND a.serviceid=c.serviceid
    AND c.nodeid=b.nodeid
    ORDER BY b.nodename
    ) AS "NODES"
    FROM node b
    WHERE b.isdeleted='N'
    </xsql:query>
    </ROOT>
    That query executes fine in sqlplus, where I can see the XML result.
    I think my problem could be related to the size of the XML output. In sqlplus, the output has around 38000 bytes size, which is nothing, so I don't really know why that should be a problem. Do you have any idea?
    Thanks for your help,
    David

    So it seems there is a problem in fact:
    XDB FUNCTION RESULTS ARE TRUNCATED WHEN USING XSQL

    Problem Description
    There appears to be a limit on the content or characters that XSQL pages

    If the number of rows (or amount of data) in the table is low, the result
    appears okay. However, if the data returned is large the data appears to
    truncate giving xml parsing errors as if the xml returned is not well formed.
    In the testcase provided, the error is as follows :-

    Currently, XDB uses a DOM based model for XSLT evaluation. It is not

  • Purchase Order AIA

    Hi AIA community,
    I have a Purchase Order AIA interface developed using SOA 11.1.1.5.
    The are 5 components: File Adapter to pick up the PO file, Requestor ABCS, EBS, Provider ABCS, and a DB adapter to insert into target system.
    This interface is working fine.
    However, we have a new requirement, to replace the File Adapter with a DB Adapter.
    I created a new project for the DB Adapter, and it deploys successfully. When I run it, the DB Adapter composite is not able to invoke the Requestor ABCS composite. The following error is displayed in the EM:

    This is now resolved. For the reference in composite.xml, the location was populated with the endpoint. I changed it to the WSDL location and it worked.

  • JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 won't connect to Oracle BPEL 10.1.3.4 after patch

    Hi
    I've tried to install Oracle BPEL 10.1.3.4 four times now. Everytime I apply the 10.1.3.4 patch, JDeveloper won't connect to BPEL. I followed the installation documents step by step:
    1.- Create SOA Schemas
    2.- Install Oracle SOA Suite
    3.- Upgrade BPEL and ESB Schemas
    4.- Install 10.1.3.4 patch
    5.- Configure PHP5
    6.- Change data-source.xml
    I always get the same problem in JDeveloper
    XMLParseException:Whitespace required in the Identity Services. The configuration in JDeveloper is correct because it works on 10.1.3.1.
    Regards,
    Néstor Boscán

    I install 10.1.3.1. JDeveloper works perfectly:
    Application Server: OK
    BPEL Process Manager Server: OK
    ESB Server: OK
    Then I run the upgrade scripts:
    soa_schema_upgrade\bpel\scripts\upgrade_10131_10134_oracle.sql
    And I install the patch.
    Then I configure PHP5:
    Set the enviroment variable PHPRC.
    Configure the httpd.conf file:
    LoadModule php5_module libexec/libphp5.so
    AddModule mod_php5.c
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php5
    AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
    Change the factory class in data-sources.xml to oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource.
    Also I set in server.xml
         <application name="hw_services" path="../applications\hw_services.ear" parent="orabpel" start="true" />
    The patch sets the start attribute to false.
    Everything restarts correctly but I can't connect from JDeveloper. There are no errors in the opmn log, or the applications.log.

    Thanks for any help

    Tim,
    I am able to successfully call this from within the master template with the following command - <?import: file:///C:\formatting.xml?>. My problem is that the sub template is not doing what I want. Below is the syntax that I currently have in my sub template. As you can see I am very new to doing this.... If you could point me in the right direction I would be VERY grateful.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format" version="1.0">
    <xsl:template name="formatting.xml">
    <?if RowName='ASSETS'?>
    <xsl:attribute name="font-weight">bold</xsl:attribute>
    <?end if?>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    I took a look at some of the other templates in XML Publisher to see if there was something similar to what I want to do and to use to become familiar with syntax, but do not know which would be a good one to use. If you could let me know that would be helpful.
    Several other questions that I have are:
    * Once I have this sub template defined do I include this call in the Report Data field or should I create another field on my template in which to call this from?
    * The other formatting that I want to do with this FSG template is on the column footers within FSG I have used the = sign to give a double underline. This presentation is not very nice when printed and I would like to be able to use Word's double underline function to replace this = sign. Will that be possible within a sub template?
    Thanks
    Ruth

    Resolved the issue:
    In UpdateMetadaDP.xml we were using  below format, but because of highlighted empty fileset, it was trying to parse and upload all files , when we removed the highlighted empty tag it worked for us.
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
    <DeploymentPlan component="Metadata" version="3.0">
      <Configurations>
    <UpdateMetadata wlserver="fp" >
    <fileset dir="${AIA_HOME}/AIAMetaData">
    </fileset>
    <fileset dir="${AIA_HOME}/AIAMetaData">
    <include name="AIAComponents/ApplicationObjectLibrary/Siebel/V1/schemas/SWITroubleTicketIO.xsd" />
    </fileset>
      </UpdateMetadata>
    </Configurations>
    </DeploymentPlan>
