Why are my calendar events gone since updating to ios7

Ever since updating to iOS7 my calendar is empty. All of my events are gone. Most of them remain on my computer calendar, but that seriously isn't helping me when I am out. I have 10 kids and my calendar makes managing that possible. HELP!!!

If you have not done so already, check to see if you are syncing with iCloud. You may just need to turn on that feature to see the calendars. Check both on your computer and on your iPhone.

Why are random calendar events being deleted from my iphone when I sync it with ical?

My settings are such that events entered on both devices should push to both devices when I sync. The events being deleted from my iphone are not consistent (ie. older than a certain date), they are random.

This happens to me INCESSANTLY. I'm looking at my calendar events one second, and POOF!, the next second all of the events I've entered into the calendar- with the exception of birthdays that are on the actual contact information for a person- are GONE. My calendar settings are set to sync all events- no timeframe- and always have been. This happened to me nonstop on my old iPhone 3GS, and I was sure it was the phone causing this issue. Now, I have my new iPhone 5 in my hands and same ol' , different equipment. I have done EVERYTHING I can think of to prevent this from happening or to restore the data- including rebooting, holding home button and on/off at same time, etc.- and NOTHING works to restore the data. And then, just as magically as the data disappeared, POOF!- the data is back randomly sometime later. That "later" may be 5 mins, a day, several days. This is an absurd and EXASPERATING glitch that APPLE NEEDS TO FIX IMMEDIATELY!!! I'm starting to hate the iPhone and Apple in general when I continuously experience HUGE glitches like this that have a profound impact on what you're trying to accomplish within a feature that you DEPEND on... yet Apple has "never heard of that problem before". You suck, Apple. Don't send your problems out into the real world, to users who just gave you $800 for another glitchy piece of equipment that never solves your software issues.

Dear, this is happening because of your iCloud sync. Note that if you deactivate your iCloud sync the duplicates will be removed. I don't know why Apple didn't solve this problem yet...

Why are my calendar events not "merging"?

I set up Icloud on my Mac and turned Icloud on on my new Iphone 4s.
I added some calender events on my Macbook Pro and none of them are going to my calendar on my Iphone.
How do I get this to work right?
I just realized that when I added an event on my Iphone last night, it did get sent to my calendar on my MBP, but it does not seem to be working the other way around.
Any thoughts?

I need to clarify a couple things in regard to my OP.
First. I just noticed that when I look at the "calendars" menu in Ical on my Mac, it only lists 3 of my 9 calendars under "Icloud'.
I also noticed on my Iphone, when I click "calendars", it only lists the same 3.
Also, I just created an event on my Iphone, it showed up on my Ical on my MBP, then I changed the calendar type on my MPB from "Home" to "Practice" (those are two calendars I use) and when I did that, it disapeared from my Iphone.
So I think one issue here is that my Iphone/Icloud is only recognizing certain calendars and merging them as opposed to all calendars, so how do I get all the calendars to Icloud?
Also, I think I still have an issue with going from MBP calendar to Iphone calendar, as I mentioned in OP.

Why are pictures worse on iPhone5 after updating to iOS7?

Since updating my iPhone5 to iOS7, I've noticed that the quality of images is greatly reduced. In particular, the exposure seems to be off, usually underexposed. Often, I try to use the flash to fill in shadows in daylight pictures and this does not seem to work at all since updating the OS.
Is anyone experiencing this issue? Any fixes?
A couple examples of using fill flash with iOS6 and iOS7 (obviously not apples to apples):

These are failry reprsentative of my experiences using fill flash with both operating systems. I've tried the Apple camera app as well as thrid party apps and the results are similar.

As a follow-up, I tested the exposure on my wife's iPhone5s and found that it does not suffer from these same problems. My thought is that iOS7 has the is metering the exposrure as if other phones have the same flash (and maybe sensor specifications) as the iPhone5s.
It must be the third party app use the same metering as in the Apple camer app, as the same problems persist in Instagram, Flickr, Camera+, and other apps.
Hopefully there is a fix or Apple will provide an update to iOS7 the correct this problem.

You can use same ID on both devices. It's common.
If you don't want to see contacts on both, just disable it under settings - mail,contacts, calendars - select your account, disable contacts

You can't use iCloud to back up your photos. Photo stream only keeps photos for 30 days, and your iCloud backup would be overwritten by a new backup that doesn't contain your photos if your were to delete them from your phone and keep backing up.
If you want to get them off your phone, import them to your computer and delete them as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

I have a 3rd generation iPad running iOS7.0.2, and since updating to iOS7, it will not mirror to an AppleTV. The devices will connect, but the video monitors show only a blank screen. The AppleTV's work fine with various other iOS & OSX devices. Ideas?

I have three AppleTV's where I work. I have two at home. I have an iPhone 4S running iOS7.0.2 which mirrors smoothly via AirPlay. I have a 2011 MacBook Pro and a 2011 iMac, both running Mountain Lion, both of which mirror smoothly through AirPlay. I have a 3rd generation iPad running iOS7.0.2, and since updating to iOS7, it will not mirror. The iPad will connect to the AppleTV, but the TV's and projectors only show a black screen when connected: the iPad screen looks as it should, except that the transitions become jumpy when connected via AirPlay. This is true on both networks: at home and at work. Another gentleman using the network where I work has the most recent iPad, also running iOS7.0.2, and he is having the same problem. I have tried to "Reset All Settings." I have tried to "Restore." Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone else experience difficulty mirroring the iPad through AirPlay since the release of iOS7.0.2?

No problems exists with the router (on either network described above) or the multiple AppleTV's which are able to mirror multiple other OSX & iOS devices seamlessly. The problem is strictly with the iPad and iOS7.

This is an iOS 7 AirPlay mirroring bug...
To make matters worse, the iPad automatically drops its mirroring session 45 seconds after it auto-locks.
3-4 mirroring sessions is all it takes for the iPad mirroring to freeze up.
After this happens, mirroring to an Apple TV only projects a blank screen.
Once the mirroring is hung, the only way to fix it is to restart the iPad.
Apple please fix this iOS 7 issue!

iMessage is not working on my iPad since updating to ios7.0.6
It worked well before doing the latest update.
iMessage on My iPhone 4 works fine after doing the same update.
Have done all the usual things plugging into computer, complete shut down and reboot, nothing has worked.
It keeps asking for password for Apple ID, I know I am entering the correct ID, check network is also being displayed.
Nothing wrong with my network either, other iPads and iPhones are working fine on the same network.
Would like this fixed ASAP.
