Why can't Admin Users see what I've given them permission to see?

I have a Secure Zone set up on my client's site and have set them up with 3 admin users and given them permissions to view and edit the secure zones. However, when their Admin Users go in to the Admin Console and click on Site Manager they can only see Web Forms and System Emails. What's going wrong?

The Create PDF feature is part of Adobe PDF Pack (the paid subscription service) and is used to convert a non-PDF file format to PDF.
I see that the "Getting Started" PDF document is opened in the screenshot above. You cannot convert a PDF document to a PDF document.
The error message is trying to tell you that you need to open the "supported format" (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RTF) then tap Create PDF to convert it to a PDF document.
Please take a look at the following document about Adobe PDF Pack (which also includes Export PDF).

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

Can a local admin user override managed computer settings? ie, the "automatically hide dock" is set to hide in mcx, but a local admin wants to "always show".
Is this possible?

I also check the folder permissions and find that non-admin has full control to it.
And during create report, two files ~DFC500.tmp and ~DFC493.tmp are successfully created into TEMP folder, but the mentioned error still comes up.

Why can't we directly email CC to just tell them something?

My payment comes in tomorrow, and apparently adobe tried to charge me yesterday and sent me an email saying that "We don't want to see you go.. etc". Well they don't give you the option to say "Look, just charge me tomorrow everything is fine, calm down, relax.."
So why can't I just email them to quickly let them know that? Why does there have to be this forum system in the way? I am not stupid, I know how to fix problems. The only thing that needs to be done is for them to charge me tomorrow so that I can keep my subscription to creative cloud.
An account being empty is certainly not a way for someone to cancel a subscription.

Why can't a user see all files in a network share?

Windows Server 2008 R2 is sharing a folder. Advanced Sharing permissions give Everyone Full Control.
NTFS Permissions give the OU "Operations" read/modify permissions.
In the Operations OU, 1 user (let's call him John) cannot see all the files in this folder. For example, here is the real contents of the folder:
File1
File2
File3
File4
File5
Everyone in the Operations OU sees all the files, except John. When John opens the folder, he sees:
File2
File4
File5
Several files are simply missing from the list. I have no idea where to look for help on this one. The files are dynamically added to the folder each day, and each day are cleared out. So every day it is a new set of files being generated (they are coming
from a PDF printer). There is no pattern to which files John can see, and which he cannot. Does anyone have any ideas?

I had the same problem, and it was related to permissions. My PCs are now running Windows 8.1 and folder properties are set to display file name extensions of all files. The 2 invisible files are File1 and File3 in your example. I have copied them to
both PCs. Computer A can see them on its own drive, and on computer B via UNC. Computer B can see them on its own drive, but not
on computer A via UNC. The cause: computer B didn't have permissions on these 2 files on computer A. I was starting the UNC directly from File Explorer, and, in my case, this uses HomeUsers for permissions (over my home network). So, on computer A, I gave
permissions on these 2 files to the user HomeUsers and that fixed the problem. I will also create a more general solution using inherited permissions.
Specifically, I selected the file and chose properties/security/advanced/add/select a principal, then typed HomeUsers "Check Names", OK, and selected the desired permissions. This fits your situation: the files are being created automatically and
don't have the correct permissions for the other PC to see them. Inherited permissions should fix it.

Why can't PS7 users upgrade to CS4?

Does anybody know the logic behind the fact that PS7 users can't upgrade to CS4? I can't believe that Adobe doesn't have the IT knowledge to enable CS4 to be backwards compatible. One person suggested that I upgrade to CS2 or CS3 and then upgrade again to CS4. That will, of course, save me some money, but why on earth should I have to do that - it's still expensive? I think we all know the answer to that!!
Could I remind Adobe that we are in a "credit crunch" and that perhaps if their software was cheaper they might sell more. Or is that perhaps too logical?

Call them up and find out what they can do for her...as you say, in this
economy perhaps they can offer her a discount on a new CS4 license. It
can't hurt to ask. If she's real nice and gets the right person you

But seriously, why do you feel this way, Dave? I understand wanting to
be treated fairly but that's a two way street. Has she been a loyal
customer? The answer is quite obviously no.
The fact that you, or any other regular upgrader would take this stance
surprises me. Here's why.
The Adobe installers are crappy enough as it is. Can you imagine if they
had to verify installation media and serial numbers that could be up to
20 years old? I know the argument that's coming...just have the person
call Adobe.
The glitch in that argument is that you need a human being to handle
that...and that costs money, which raises the price of the software for
EVERYONE. Would you, as a loyal customer who's purchased every upgrade,
be willing to underwrite that cost? What if Adobe allowed all previous
owners to upgrade to CS4 for $239.00 instead of $199.00. Now...how do
you feel about it?
People are complaining enough about the cost as it is. Would you then
jump in to chastise Adobe for jacking up the price? You can't have it
both ways...either you want loyal customers to be treated as such or you
don't, but allowing every who's ever purchased a product from any
company to get the same treatment as regular loyal customers just makes
no sense from a customer prospective or a business prospective.

I have been having trouble. Some websites I have accessed before are not loading correctly. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't load. Sometimes they load, but you only see a list of links. Why can't I use Snapfish anymore with iPhoto 08? I cannot see the library.

I recently upgraded to iPhoto (iLife 08) now when I try to upload pics to snapfish it cannot see the folder. I know it is there cause I see it in Finder. It shows all other folders but the iPhoto folder is invisible. Does anyone know a setting or a way that I can utilize photo developing other than the proprietary ones for Apple?
Please help. I feel like I've been swindled. (Seems Like something Microsoft would do)

You haven't been swindled, no one is forcing you to do anything.
With iPhoto 7 (iLife 08) the old iPhoto Library Folder is now a Unix Style Package File. The change was made to the format of the iPhoto library because many users were inadvertently corrupting their library by browsing through it with other software or making changes in it themselves.
It has never been the correct procedure to root through the iPhoto Library Folder - in fact on every version the documentation has expressly stated that you should never do so.
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:
For 10.5 users: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Apple-Click for selecting multiple pics.

To upload to a site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. If you're using Gmail you can use THIS
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
Or, if you want to access the files with iPhoto not running, then create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use THIS
Other options include:
1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
All of these are faster and safer than rooting around in the iPhoto Library Folder
You might also check if Snapfish have updated their plug-in for iPhoto yet? If Snapfish haven't bothered to update their plug-in, you might want to check out many of the other services that have. Or are supported by an app like PictureSync. So, nothing proprietary there.

Why can't PC users read data DVDs I author on my Macbook???

I'm having a problem with compatabilty of DVDs that I'm burning on my macbook pro running snow leopard. I'm burning hundreds of JPG photos to dvd and PC users are having difficulty accessing the discs. I'm using DVD-R format discs and burning through the finder? what am I doing wrong? Do I need a program like toast to have the most broadly compatible DVDs?

Does seem a little strange since OS 10 uses HFS Plus/ISO 9660 hybrid formatting.
I do quite alot of disc burning for my commercial printer customers without any problems on either end.
Your method of burning on Mac side is ok although I insert my CD/DVD with no running applications and when dialog comes up "You inserted a blank CD/DVD. Choose an action." From the pop-up menu I select Ignore (as opposed to Open Finder) and then navigate to Folder I want to burn and then under File select Burn (name of folder I have selected). That method simply bypasses the making of aliases.
Doubt that is your issue however.
One possibility may be on the PC side. Like the Mac, a PC is picky about where files are put on the HD.
I tell my PC customers to insert the CD/DVD. Navigate My Computer to whatever letter is assigned as their CD/DVD drive (usually E). Open to view the contents.
Then open My Documents (which is similar to the Mac Home Documents Folder) and Drag the files from the disk to My Documents folder.
I have had to do this on occasion when my PC customers Claim they cannot copy the files only to learn they are attempting to copy the files to another area of the HD that the PC windows system does not like.
Just a thought since I have run into this problem in the past. Hope it may shed some light on your problem.

Can two "admin" users share exactly the same apps, docs and files?

With a view to improving the speed of my Macbook and resolve certain issues with the current user, I am attempting to switch to a new user and I was wondering if there was a way to enable such new user to access all files and privileges of the previous one so as to make the transition quick and easy.

Go into your Mac's hard disk by double-clicking on it. Then single-click on the icon that's shaped like a little house. This is your home directory. Get info on your home directory.
In the get info window, look toward the bottom part of the window. See where it says "Ownership & permissions?" There's a little box called "details" there, so click the triangle to reveal the details, then in the group and others fields, change them to say "read & write."
Then below that section, there's a button labeled, "Apply to enclosed items" which you should click. This will give every account on your computer read/write access to your files and folders.
