Why can't i sign in on icloud acct/ it keeps on telling me that the maximum free accounts have been activated on my iPhon
whenever i try to log in to my icloud on my iphone is always says that the maximum free acct had been reached to this phone, i already have my apple id and it was validated eer since had my phone. even using it to download some apps but everytime i try to log in to icloud i keep on getting that error, already updated the phone as well but nothing seems to change with that error. pls help thanks!
Signing in with a new ID creates a new iCloud account. However, each device is limited in the number of iCloud accounts that it is allowed to create. Once you reach that limit, you cannot create another account. All you can do is re-use one of the accounts previously created, or create a new account to use on another iOS device or Mac (running OS X Lion or higher), if you have one.

Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your mobile device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.
You should however be able to add existing accounts to your device, are you sure you aren't trying to create on rather than simply use an existing one. -

You were trying to create a new Apple ID for icloud. But once the device reaches is max allowed to create IDs then you can't create more. That's your situation now. To create a new account you must use another device or computer.
You can't deactivate or turn back the clock. -

To do this, they would need to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which will delete the account from their device but not from iCloud), then allow you to sign back in with your ID to create the new account. Then tap Delete Account to delete the new account from their device, and finally, sign back in with their iCloud ID to restore their iCloud account to their device. Then you can sign in with your ID on your phone in Settings>iCloud and use the new account.

HI, I just bought a used (second hand) iphone 3gs recently. I have activated my apple id it's working for app-store well, but when i try to use it for icloud it gives me the error that

I suppose the previous owner has already activate an icloud account from this iphone and the IMEI number of the phone is registered to icloud. Is there a way to erase it, or just make a second account from this iphone?You need to sign in to your iCloud on another device before you can use iCloud on your iPhone 3GS.

I have an apple id but when i want regester with icloud on my iphone I get the message "THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF FREE ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN ACTIVATED ON THIS IPHONE."
On the web of icloud when i try to sign in with apple ID i get the Message "THIS APPLE ID IS VALID BUT IS NOT AN ICLOUD ACCOUNT"
Hence i cant create Icloud account.

Thanks.Apple limits iOS devices to three free iCloud accounts, & once that limit is reached on an iOS device you can no longer create a new account on that device. The solution is to create the account on a computer or another iOS device, then set that account up on your present iOS device.

Yes, you can do that. Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of page and tap Delete (if it's currently logged into some other account). Then sign in using you ID. Somehow, what you were doing before ended up trying to create a new account/ID. That you can't do more than five times.

You would have to contact Apple and see if they would grant an exception and allow you to create another one. There's nothing you can do on your phone (that I know of) to correct this.

i got this massege on my iphone the maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this iphone can any one help?
This restriction has no relation to creating free accounts, it means you may not sign in to another free account, on that iDevice because the serial number of the device (on apple's server) has their limit of free accounts associated to it. the only way around this is to use one of the three free accounts on the device which the server has associated, OR have apple reset the account/remove the restriction for that serial number...This has been posted in dozens of discussions, but they continue to ingnore the problem, what's worse is the telephone support is RUDE about it if you inquire.

I have this problem too on two iPhones, neither of which have been jailbroken and both of which have been restored as new via iTunes on a PC and upgraded to iOS 5.1. It's the same whether signing into iCloud or Find My Friends. What is causing this error? If an iPhone is completely wiped and restored as new, it should not retain the previous user's iCloud credentials.
