Why can't I update apps on my iPhone 5 ?

I hate this phone wish I never got it nothing but trouble was happy with the IPhone 3 worked just fine always updated apps not like this piece of junk hate the phone hate hate !!!

I have an iPhone5. The App Store shows I have 4 updates. I click on the App Store icon. When I click on the Update icon, nothing happens, just a blank screen. I can access Featured, Top Charts, Genius, & Search. Any idea what the problem might be?

If your iPad is 3G then I think Johnathan has answered the question - if the downloads were larger than 20MB. If the downloads were smaller than 20MB you can try restarting or resetting your iPad and see if that helps.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

I can no longer update apps on my iPhone or iPad1. It keeps asking me to agree to new terms, which I do, then stops and asks again over and over. Please help. I do not want to update to a new iOS

I can no longer update apps on my iPhone 4 or my iPad 1 because it keeps asking me over and over to agree to new terms, so I do that and it still does not work. Just around and around in a circle. I do not want to update software. I like what I have.

Why can't I install apps on my iPhone?

I can't install new apps on my iPhone.
When pressing "Install app" in the App Store you return to the home screen, the icon of the new app appears and instead of downloading and installing the app, the icon immediately disappears and I get an error message saying "Connection to iTunes Store failed." (Actually "Verbinding met iTunes Store mislukt" in Dutch).
This happens..
only on my iPhone (not on my iPad or Windows PC which use the same Apple ID and internet connection);
only when installing a new app, not when updating an app, that works fine;
My Apple ID password is entered correct. I have an active internet connection, either via Wi-Fi, 3G or connected to PC.
I tried restoring a previous iCloud backup, didn't help.
What could be the problem and how do I solve it?

I had done the 'Reset All Settings'. But the connection to App Store is still slow, it keeps loading. This is definitely not a network connection problem because my iPad works just fine. So, I connected the iPhone to my Macbook iTune and updated the apps manually from the iTune library. In a way, this solved part of the problem. Thank you so much.
Later, I tried to connect my iPhone to the App Store again. The connection is kind of unstable. It connected and allowed me to update some apps. After a while, it showed error message like "502 Bad Gateway". I hope I don't have to reset everytime when I update some app.

Do you have automatic updates turned on? That is new for iOS 7. If yo d you may see that some apps need updates but that goes away after the automatic update prcess finished. The iPod periodically checkds for updates and periodically updates apps.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

I am trying to download a free app on my iPhone 5. I keep getting a message after I enter my Apple ID password. The message says: ConnectionManager::invoke:;Failed to find service connection url. I've tried shutting off my phone, a hard reboot, and connecting to wifi. Nothing works.

I am in the same boat. Seems to be a common problem lately. Hopefully we will find a fix.

I have same problem. Same message when trying to update iphoto as required to obtain iCloud photostream. Also, when I go to purchased apps, it lists 3 --- imovie, iphoto and garage band -- and notes there is an update available for iphoto, but requires me to "accept" (sending hardware id) in the upper right corner. When I click on "accept," the screen sort of blinks and otherwise nothing happens.
