Why can't touch Sync with Vista Calendar same as iCal file

Why in the world can't the touch sync with vista calendar? it exports the same ics file as iCal. I'd rather not spend the absurd money for Outlook 2007 just to backup my calendar so I don't lose it in firmware updates.
Also it would be very nice to edit my calendars on my computer as well.

With Windows, iTunes can only sync files from Outlook, and nothing else.
It can only do it properly through Outlook, as iTunes is only configured to find the files in Outlook at that time, and no other program.

Hi and welcome to the forums,
BB does not synch with the Windows calender. It recognizes Outlook however.

Why can't I sync my facebook invitations to my iCal? My Mac Mail won't detect the date/time on the email anymore.

I have been trying to sync my facebook invitations to my iCal and no longer able to do this through my Mac Mail. When I would receive a facebook invitaiton through my comcast email, I used to be able to hover my mouse over the date/time of the invitation and then I could easily "Add to iCal" or "See Date in iCal", but am no longer able to do so. I can still add other invitations, just not the facebook invitations. Any ideas?

You can get your photos off your phone. If they are all in Camera Roll just import them to your new computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083). If some of them were synced to your iphone from your computer (i.e., in photo library) just use an app like PhotoSync and send them to your new computer wirelessly. For that matter, you can sync your phone with your new computer without losing your data and settings if you carefully follow this guide: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141. Your only issue will be non-purchased music on your phone which is not in your new iTunes library, which will require 3rd party software such as Touch Copy to transfer from your phone to iTunes (or you will have to rip you CDs again to import them).

Can apple tv sync with 2 Macs same iTunes user ???

So I have a macbook pro with my main music library,photos,movies etc as well as an iMac with the same itunes user but a different music,movie etc content.
I want to view(store on app tv)movies from the iMac because the laptop does not have room for the movies on it's internal HD. Can this be done? In other words can appletv sync with 2 computers?

that depends on various factors. signal strength and possible _*wireless interference*_ for example.
however, TV comes with an ethernet port so if wireless doesn't work for you, you can hardwire TV to your computer or router.

What phone and what version of Android are you using? tikibar's suggestion may be the fix. Another possibility is to check the calendar app's sync settings. Do you find that sync works the other direction - when you create an event in the Google calendar, does it show up on the phone?

I have used Firefox for years now and have used the option to sync, sign in and always be safe that I could get to my bookmarks (if and when fixed my computer and got a new one).... it has worked SO many times before.... I have tried all of those now and more but I can't get it it work. I have sync'ed several times on three different laptops I have owned and they all worked! everytime! and this time my computer just crashed - and now; here I am :/
When I tried to restore and found the restore/backup button - the only dates I get; is from after the crash happened :(
I sync my account, nothing show up. When I edit/customize my browser, it doesn't show me as sync'ed there beside 'exit-thing' - my email is only there in the menu :S
When trying to sign into "account.services.mozilla" - it won't let me either :S
I even thought I might've lost my password or something, that I lost my real sync info but nope - tried to reset that way too - but still nothing showed up :S
Really at a loss here, not sure what to do at all. I have been using firefox for a few years and know for a fact that I do have an account with my email ([email protected]) I have waaaay to many bookmarks but for a reason you know aha x'D

Do you have the settings in iTunes correct to sync the Calendar?
Perhaps you could try using iCloud to coordinate your calendars rather than syncing with iTunes.

Hi, can the 5300 sync with any other PIM/Calendar applications than the Outlook or Lotus-Note suggested? I am a Palm user and I would like to stay with my PalmDesktop if possible or something else but Outlook or Lotus Note . Nokia PC Suite supports only Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and Lotus Organizer.
I don't know if there is any other synchronization apps that work with the 5300 and some other calendar, etc., on PCs. There is, for example, Oxygen Phone Managare that might at least allow you to edit/extract/import things.

Sorry iphones are meant to be sync to one iTunes media library.
You could copy your music and put it on your work computer and then sync it.
If you try to sync to one and then sync to other its going to wipe the phone and remove the old sync with the new sync.

When you say she syncs with your calendar, do you mean she shares your calendars through iCloud, she subscribes to your calendar, or something else?
You can color-code your view of a shared or subscribed calendar the same way you color-code one of your own calendars. In the Calendar app, tap the Calendars button at upper left, tap the ">"-in-a-blue-circle next to the calendar, and select a new color.
