Why can't visual basic 6 load CWDAQ.OCX in the example programs? I am using the latest Measurement Studio 6 and VISTA OS.
Can someone help me with getting controls to work with Visual basic 6 in an Vista environment? I cannot get the examples to work that use the CWDAQ.OCX control. I did a search on my computer and the file is not even there. What functions are in CWDAQ.OCX? Is there a descriptions of what functions are included in this control and other controls? It is not obvious where to find these descriptions.
I did install Measurement Studio 6 with all the options for Visual basic 6.
I am new to programming NI cards with visual basic so any help in getting me started will be greatly appreciated.
I need to talk to a PCI-6110 card in visual basic 6. I would like to preprogrammed the D/A fifos, store to two analog inputs simutaneously, and use some of the digital I/O. Can someone direct me the direction as to what controls I need to use?

Hi Tony,
So the reason you can't find the CWDAQ.OCX ActiveX controls in VB 6.0 in Vista is because that is a Tradtional DAQ (legacy) control meant to work with the Traditional DAQ Driver.
The Tradtional DAQ drivers aren't officially supported in Windows Vista (KnowledgeBase 4FDH4MZN: Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) for Windows Vista OS) and so the CWDAQ.OCX controls don't get installed.
However, the good news is that the PCI 6110 is a newer card that uses our newer driver, NI-DAQmx. DAQmx is supported in Vista and you can communicate to your card from VB 6.0 using DAQmx in Vista.
There are several examples that show you how to communicate using DAQmx in VB 6.0.

Change one of the options to sync, like check to see if you are Manually managing your music and videos. If you are you can drag and drop the music you want to your iPad mini. If you are not, then check the things that you want synced in the music tab when looking at your iPad mini in iTunes. Either way, change it and sync, then revert the changes and you should be able to get your music on there.

I have an ipod touch with songs from itunes, downloaded cd's and limewire. Just bought an ipad mini and I can only sync the music that was purchased from itunes and the cd's. How can I get the limewire songs to transfer?
When your device is connected try File > ~Device > Transfer purchases from device

That is true - I apologize for not being specific - what I was mainly referring to is iLife applications. I have a notice on the App Store that says 3 apps need updates, I look at the apps and they are huge so since my connection is so slow I use my work connection and d'load the files from support to my Windows machine and carry them home, once d'loaded my MacAir states it cannot install, the update must come from the App Store.
I do the same thing for large Leopard and Lion files and I can install them without error, it is just the App Store files that the system stops. -

Why can I no longer import EDITED photo from my iPad to my Mac using Image Capture? This is farcical and a real problem having to email them individually to myself and is totally inefficient time wise compared to previously using image capture! Why change this when it was working well and very quickly until the latest change. Now I have to move files from downloads into an appropriate folder, after emailing each individual edited image to myself, then I have to open in Photoshop and rename the file. This is ludicrous and takes forever to do!

I have transferred a load of files from my PC to my iMac using the migration assistant. The message on both machines say that the process was successful but I can not find the files on the mac. Any ideas?
When you use Migration Assitant it creates another user account and puts your files there. Please log out of your normal account and log into the new account. Had you use Setup Assistant when it asked if you were migrating that would not have occured. You have a couple of options, combine the two accounts (not recommended) or start over, use Setup Assistant and have everything in one user account. The guides all say when using the iCloud photos are shared across all devices. Why can't I see my photos from my iPhone on my iPad when it settings on both devices the iCloud for photos is on?
When you enable Photo Stream on your devices, only new photos you take or import to those devices will be automatically added to your Photo Stream. Existing photos won't.

How to print in iOS

Most likely because Essbase is creating an implicit share relationship between the two members, which is causing the association tab to be grayed out. You can only "play more like this" on your custom stations. The pre-programmed ones cannot be altered, at least to my understanding
