Why cant I send mail from the mailapp on My ipad?

I can't send maila from the mailapp on My ipad air. What can the problem be? Pelare help me :)

The parameters for the outgoing email server are probably not set correctly in your Mail account in Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendars.
Check these carefully to make sure that User name, password, server name, port, and password are correct.

Remove the mail accounts from the device and add them back, it wont hurt your mail and you wont lose anything because Gmail saves all your mail anyway.
So go to Settings>Mail,Contacts<Calendars and then click on each account, go to the bottom and choose - Delete Account.
Once you have removed them, go to Add Account> and click on gmail and hotmail, then sign in to each account.
This should resolve your issue.

I'm facing problem with sending mail from my mac to my colleagues who's using outlook in PC. I don't why my e-mail just go to their junk mailbox.

The determination of whether a message is junk or not is a function of the receiving email program or their ISP. There's little you can do. The recipients will need to configure their junk mail detection to allow your email and not classify it as junk.

Hi, thank you. I already mentioned the path,like this(F:/Sun/lib)..
but i didnt specifically inlcuded the jar files like this(F:/Sun/lib/mail,jar)..
now it is working!

Why do my emails disappear from the inbox of my iPad 2

The emails disappear from the inbox of my iPad 2? The only way I can retain them is to move them to the Trash box.

My inbox had emptied and the sent/draft/outbox folders had disappeared from the mailbox.

Mavericks mail can't send mail from the correct account

I have 5 mail account(index 1,2,3,4,5) in my mail app.
the default account is account 1.
After I new a mail and change the sender account to another account(not default account), the mail receiver always receive this mail from my default account address. This appeared from one week ago.

btw: all the 5 mail accounts are gmail accounts.

Smtp server won't send mail from the office, works fine at home...

Ugggg... AOL!!! I can't send my emails from my Mac Mail program using my aol account from the office. This works fine from other connections. I am wireless at work and at home and elsewhere all the time and don't have a problem. I CAN'T send out using smtp.aol.com from the office, using my aol account and passord in the preferences etc. I've worked out of this office in the past and didn't have a problem but haven't been able to send out all week...

Welcome to the Discussions.
Many ISP are blocking the use of any third party SMTP, sometimes even when presented on Port 587 (I presume you are using Port 587?) -- could it be that the ISP connecting the office, has changed policy?

How can i send mail from the mail same mail account on which it was forward to my gmail account?

I have added many accounts in my Gmail account and i've selected "Reply from the same address the message was sent to" in Gmail option. So whenever i reply to any mail, it automatically sends from the account on which i had received the mail.
How can i get the same configuration in Apple mail?

In the 'new message' window click the three line option button to 'Customize…' the window.
Enable the 'From field' & click OK to save the new field settings. If these accounts are setup in Mail you can now select them when replying or sending new mail.
Also check the 'Mail > Composing tab' preferences. There is an option to 'Send from selected mailbox' that may help if Mail is setup with all of the relevant email accounts.
Otherwise you may need to log in to gmail on the web & reply from there. Apple Mail cannot understand how gmail & forwarding from other accounts is setup so it cannot try to reply from another account that isn't setup on the Mac.

Sending mail from the terminal app

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to send an email message from the terminal app. I've been trying to figure it out from the man pages and a book I bought, but I can't get anywhere. I don't mean using OSX Mail, but composing an email message and sending to someone else.
I've been trying to make sense of the man pages (mail and sendmail), and tried to, for example send a message to my gmail account, according to what I thought I understood from the man pages:
mail [[email protected]]
Subject: Test (then I pressed control -D)
EOT
Null message body; hope that's ok
but when I check my gmail account, there's nothing there.
What am I missing?

Yup. So you need to use 2 different outgoing Servers. one for when you are on 3G and one for wifi connection
Your 3G outgoing SMTP server will be the server provided by your mobile carrier.. For example I have Telus and my outgoing server for sending mail on 3G is smtp.telus.net. Contact your provider to get this info..
When you are connected to your wifi. use your ISP's or Google's SMTP server. This will allow you to send email either way.
To add more than 1 outgoing SMTP server do this:
Settings > Mail, contacts, calendars > Select the email account from the list > Select SMTP > you will see the Primary server in that list. > click on Add server. Enter the SMTP address in the Host name section. you shouldn't need a username/password
Then hit save
it will attempt to setup the settings. It may also prompt you to "Setup without using SSL" You want to hit yes. it might ask twice.
After a few minutes it should get setup with both servers for that mail account. I have this setup on my phone as well as my dad's at his home.

Why cant i send this to the cost class on button click?

when the calculate button is clicked i want the program to check and see if a certain checkbox is selected and if set a variable in another class.

               }as compared to the code i first posted . . . . . this code works . . . the gui works . . . and im assuming this class of code can run all by itself and does have or need anything to do with the other 3 classes are in this program (see previous thread).
this program works but all the code is in the button handler class . . . i do not need to send anything anywhere, i do not need to use set get methods . . . so why would this code be frowned upon?

Why cant I send mail since resetting my hotmail password?

I logged onto my hotmail on a laptop but couldnt remember my password so had to reset it. I changed it on my ipad in settings, and am receiving emails but for some reason i cant send any. I get an error msg saying my password is incorrect, but ive definitely entered ot correctly

I was having the same problem. If you go into your hotmail settings on your IPAD and go to your Outgoing Mail Server settings you will notice you have a password entry in here as well. Update that password and it should work for you. I don't know why but when you just update your password for hotmail it only updates the incoming mail server password immediately. It takes a little bit for it to update the outgoing mail server password. If you have OS 5.0 or higher delete your account and update with the new pop server for hotmail. This should fix the problem as well.

I was able to send them before on both texts and on whatsapp, but now i am unable to send them. Does anyone else have this same issue?

this may be a stupid question but
1) do you have your email setup on your iPhone - if so is in POP or IMAP - if its POP and you dont have the save on server option enabled the server will delete the email after its been downloaded to the 1st device you use - so it you read the email with the photo on your Iphone its no longer available to any other devices
If its IMAP it should be ok unless you delete it from mail on your iPhone which causes it to be deleted from any other device you have that email account on
try setting up another email address like gmail and dont add that to your phone - send the photo to that 2nd email address and see what happens - i have a 6plus running 8.1.2 and sending photos to my email address works fine
