Why do I get %PIM-5-NBRCHG in the logs - 6509-E?
Hello, I just had a look at the logs on a pair of 6509's with SUP-720-3B. They have a etherchannel between them (just standard basic campus config - with OSPF) and I get these so so frequently, fairly new to multicast arena so I have no idea why this is happening, could someone perhaps explain what is happening. Why would this just drop for 0.0.0.0 (itself, right?):

I may disagree that the neighbourship is dropping. I have assigned the RP statically and it is not one of the 6509s.
All the other SVIs have the same thing as you can see from the neighbourship the PIM neighbours I.e. 6509-2 have been up for weeks including VLAN 24.
Why is it only this VLAN 24 that I am getting these logs for?
When there's a neighbourship change with another router, normally we see the address of the attached interface rather than 0.0.0.0. (This is what I have observed anyway)
When we enable PIM sparse mode on an interface, we get the 0.0.0.0 if nothing is connected to the other side?
I also don't understand why there would be consistency. Every 30 seconds or so?

If it was an audiobook then they are one-time only downloads, to get it on your other devices you need to sync it to them and not re-download it oneach. If it's the cursor you're talking about In Windows, try this:
Right-click the desktop.
Choose Personalize.
Click the Display link.
Change to a slightly different size. For example, if you're at 150%, try using the Custom sizing options link and setting to 149% or 151%
If you're seeing what Trevor is showing, without a delay, it's possible your left and right mouse buttons are swapped.

I'm experiencing something similar. My conversations are kept together but if the screen is opened to a conversation and I receive a text from that person it doesn't show up on the screen. The message alert in the upper corner indicates a new text but I have to back out of the screen and go back in to read it.

On my computer I apply for unemployment benefits at the Unemployment Insurance Agency web-site. Just recently, when I log in for benefits, I get to the second page, and I get automatically kicked back to the log-in page. I went to my local library, and I do not have this problem. I do not understand why I can log in, get to the second page, then I click proceed and I have to start all over without ever getting to the third page. Can someone figure this out?

I have done extensive programming with the SQL Toolkit with LabVIEW versions through 6.1. My customer now wants to upgrade to Windows 7, so I am trying to upgrade to LabVIEW 2009 (my latest purchased version) using the Database Connectivity Toolkit, and the SQL Toolkit Compatibility vis. Everything seemed to be going okay with the higher level SQL operations, but I ran into trouble with the Get Column Name.vi.
The pictures below show the problem. The original SQL Toolkit connected the Prepare SQL.vi with the Get Column Name.vi with a cluster of two references, one for connection, and one for sql. The new compatibility vis have a class conflict in the wire because the Prepare SQL.vi contains a cluster with connection, and command references, but the Get Column Name.vi expects a cluster with connection and recordset references.
How do I resolve this conflict?

DanI've never worked with the old version of the toolkit, so I don't know how it did things, but looking inside the SQL prep VI, it only generates a command, and the the column name VI wants a recordset. I'm not super familiar with all the internals of ADO, but my understanding is that is standard - you only have the columns after you execute the command and get the recordset back. What you can apparently do here is insert the Execute Prepared SQL VI in the middle and that will return what you need.
I'm not sure why it worked before. Maybe the execute was hidden inside the prep VI or maybe you can get the column names out of the command object before execution. In general, I would recommend considering switching to the newer VIs.

I'm facing some serious issues with SSRS. I've tried to create a map report in SQL server reporting service 2008R2. I've insert a map using ESRI shapefile and connected it to my Dataset. Everything seemed to be fine up until I've tried to preview the results

I've tried to resolve the problem by increasing the "MaximumTotalPc", but then I got this:
Ever since this happened my SSRS is acting like it has gotten a virus. I've tried to delete the report, but it doesn't let me and the window I've posted above keeps on popping up every few seconds while the program is open.
Any idea why do I get it and how can I deal with it?

According to your description that you are experiencing the issue when you are creating the ESRI shapefile map on the SSRS 2008 R2, you got some error “the number of map point elements for “Map1” exceeds the maximum limits for map” when you click to
preview the map, you trying to set the properties of “MaximumTotalPointCount” to fix this issue but cause another error about the “insufficient memory”, right?
By default, a map can have 20,000 map elements or 1,000,000 points. If your map exceeds these limits, you can increase the MaximumTotalPointCount and the MaximumSpatialElementCount, but it may cause the insufficient memory because of the too much points
and elements. So I recommend you that you can use one of the following approaches for you have got problem increase the limitations:
Remove a layer.
Decrease the map resolution.
Decrease the map viewport coordinates to view a smaller area.
If the spatial data comes from a report dataset, set a filter to limit the data from the dataset. The filter must be set on a field that is not a spatial data type.
If the spatial data comes from a SQL Server database, change the query to use spatial functions to limit the data to a smaller area.

As you this error also caused you can’t delete the report, please try to close the program in the task manager and find the path of project in your computer to delete the .rdl file in your workspace and redesign the map again.

Possibly because you have set firefox to ask you what to do when an update is available. Your sytem information suggests you are using firefox4.0 and the current main release is now firefox 4.0.1
Go to about firefox and use the manual update option, it should then update. If you continue to have problems

Why do I get two different results from the same coefficients?
I am getting two different results from the Polynomial Evaluation function.
For the first one, I am getting the coefficients from a Polynomial Fit function. I feed the coefficients from the Fit function into the Poly Eval function and get the correct result of 12.8582 when I evaluate 49940.
For the second one, I create constant array of the SAME values that were returned from the Polynomial Fit function (i typed them in). However, I am getting an incorrect result of -120.7913 when I feed the constant array into the Poly Eval function when I evauate 49940.
How can this happen when I am using the same array values?

are you sure about using the "same" coefficients?
Did you compare them? Did you (atleast) set the display properties to 17 significant digits?

Why do I get a black rectangle on the left side of the screen when I import a clip in Imovie?

My original source material is in Apple Intermediate Codec, with 32-bit float audio and a variable frame rate. This has not been friendly to FCP, so I use Quicktime to convert it to Apple ProRes with 24-bit audio and 29.97 frame rate. This is what I import into FCP.
My sequence settings are set to the same specs as my source material. 854x480, square pixels, no field dominance, Apple ProRes compression.
The black bar on the left side of the screen shows up before I even export. It shows up when I render everything.
I am exporting with Quicktime Conversion to:
MP4
h.264 codec
720x405
1000 video bit rate
Main Profile
No cropping/filters or anything.
The ONLY thing I did different before upgrading to FCP6 was that I used Apple Intermediate Codec all the way through. I was told by an FCP instructor that writes and publishes all kinds of FCP training material that I should upgrade to FCP6 and use the Apple ProRes422 Codec instead, so that's what I'm trying to do.
I am going back to restart my project using Apple Intermediate Codec all the way through like I used to, but it will be awhile before I can tell if that solved the problem. Either way, I would like to be using the ProRes codec....
