Why do I have two of the same CSS style sheets on my page?

I created my index page using a 3 column layout, and I brought in one of the sample css style sheets. Now I have 3 css style sheets for my page:
1) thrcolfxdhdr.css
2) samplegreenyellow.css (I changed the name of the sample)
3) level3_3.css
The last two have all the same .header .footer, etc.
When I make a change in #2 it doesn not change anything on the page.
When I make a change in #3, it does make a change.
Do I need both. Right now I am making every change twice! Can I delete one? If so, which one?

To see if you can do without one of the stylesheets, go to the head of your document (not the stylesheet) in Code View.
Find one of the link statements (<link href=...etc.) and 'comment it out'. If your page functions without it, you can safely remove the link from your page. If you lose some styles but not all, you will need to spend a little more time with it.
If your two stylesheets are actually identical, you can remove one with no harm done. Also remove the link and delete the stylesheet itself.
If there are slight differences (you can find them by viewing them both in Code View, Tile Vertically in the Window menu), add the differences to one of the stylesheets and then delete the other.
You might be able to compare the two stylesheets quickly in the CSS Styles Panel (but not with either link commented out) while your html page is open, but you won't see details side-by-side there.
To answer your question (in passing!), the reason you did not see changes in your page when you changed Stylesheet #2 is because Stylesheet #3...called after Stylesheet #2...cancelled out all the changes you had made in Stylesheet #2. Then when you made changes in #3, they were NOT cancelled out by #2 because #3 came AFTER #2 in being called. Precedence is what the Cascade is all about.

Sounds like the source drive is formatted as case sensitive and the destination drive is not. The preferred format for OS X is case insensitive unless there is a compelling reason to go case sensitive.
Why can't you change the filename? Is it because the source drive is having problems? If so is this happening with only one or two or a few files? If so the best thing would be to copy those over individually and then rename them on the destination drive.
If it is more then you can do manually and you can't change the name on the source you will have to reformat the destination as case sensitive.
Btw this group is for discussion of the Support Communities itself, you;d do better posting to Lion group. I'll see if a host will move it.

Why do you have to buy the same app on all devices?

If you have multiple apple products like iphone, ipad, mac..ect. I understand the different versions of the OS but still, I would think they'd have a bundle price or something. I've had to rebuy the same apps over and over. Is there any way around this?

Some apps are universal, most are not.
As provided, these are entirely different platforms.
Just as you would have to buy a movie twice of you wanted to watch it on a dvd player and a vcr.
You would have to buy the same video game twice if you wanted to play on a Wii and a playstation.

Photos you take on your camera are in the Camera Roll and are like the film in a camera.
Photo Stream is an independent stream of photos from all devices that are logged onto the same iCloud account and that have Photo Stream turned on. Photo Stream photos are kept in the cloud for 30 days or up to 1000 photos, whichever comes first, so unless you have a particular photo you just don't want to stay out there for 30 days, you don't really need to delete Photo Stream Photos. They are temporary. Your device will continue to keep your Photo Stream photos from prior to the 30 day limit, but if you switch Photo Stream off in iCloud and then right back on, the only photos that will re-display in Photo Stream on that device are the ones that remain within the 30 Day/1000 photo parameter.
Collections is simply a single place which shows all of the photos that you have on your device. You do not need to delete photos from Collections. It is just a single place where you can see the contents of all of your albums.
Photos in albums that you have created on the device itself are tied to the photos in your Camera Roll, so if you delete them from the Camera Roll, it will tell you that it will also be deleted from an album.
Albums that you have sync'd from your computer should be removed the same way you got them there - by hooking the device up to a the computer you did the sync with, and un-selecting the album from the Photo profile screen.
So, really, there are only two places that you need to delete photos - Camera Roll and Photo Stream.

Not an easy one. Maybe you can try on both computers ) if they are both Macs or both PC to setup your iTunes Librery to be on an external USB drive. Under Windows make sure the USB HDD always mount with the same letter. Both computers should be Authorized for your account.

Two people in my household both have Iphones and our data seems to be switched around quite often. For example, when i add a new contact on my phone, it will also appear on hers. Or, if she adds a new appointment to her calendar, my calendar also recieves the same appointment. We stopped by an AT&T store and the man told us to simply make annother acount for my iphone and my mother's iphone can stay on the original Apple ID account on our computer. how do i make this new account for my Iphone?

Make a new login account for her on your computer.
Then create a new iTunes account (for the iTunes store).
Then each user will have their own iTunes librar, contacts, calendars, and everything else.

Why do i have 2 of the same pages?

i have a site and under it i have a page calles pricing. i published it and i go to .mac and it shows two pricing pages with the exact same link. when i click on both of them, it takes me to the same exact page. how can i erase one of them?

The .Mac homepage is not all that great for showing your iWeb pages. Just because it shows up twice on there doesn't mean it exists twice. And it counts hits even without a counter. The .Mac homepage shows your five top (most popular) pages or the five most recently published (I never can remember). It's not necessarily a good "index" of pages. Nobody can see that list but you anyway.
If you want to see what you really have, look in your iDisk for a folder called "Web."

Blackberry Playbook not charging -have two exactly the same and both not connecting to charger...help!!

Bought my two children a playbook each last Christmas. They were fine for the first six months but have had problem after problem with charging and battery life ever since. It has now come to the point that the playbooks haven't been used for the past few months and are sat on the computer desk, unused!! The chargers do not connect-they're plugged in, but the connection doesn't get through. I have also bough numerous other compatible chargers but have had the same problem with them so we now know it is the playbook rather than the charger.
Has anyone else had this problem? HELP!! We don't want to waste the money we spent on two Playbooks only a year ago-I don't think six months use is acceptable from a piece of technology such as this.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
If you're receiving the flashing green LED light, it sounds like the BlackBerry PlayBook battery is completely drained. I suggest plugged the BlackBerry PlayBook into the wall charger for several hours to get a charge again.
Let me know if the issue still persists after charging it after several hours.

Is it possible that images have auto deleted, if I have two of the same album?

I have created 2 identical files but named them differently, my boss has deleted images from one file, but the other one which has not been edited has had the same files deleted. is this possible?

Im not really savy with the program myself so I showed him how to ( right clicking the images > remove from album<name>)
But I understand he has been showed the other way also as thats how he use to do it on the older version. As its recently been updated to the latest model.

of course I am logged in with the same id of me on both my devices. and when I go to app store, and then purchased apps, I only am able to see the other applications but not the one that I bought some hours ago. This happening now for the second time with me. the first time I bought one app using my iphone and then couldn't find it through ipad, and now it is the same reversely.

I am using the "NivoSlider", for my dreamweaver page but I am not sure how to tell styles that one page has one attribute and the other one will have a different attribute.
For example: in my "about us" I have a small slideshow with its own pictures. I then put a gallery page with its own pictures, yet, I want to make that slideshow box larger without affecting the other small slideshow.
I am using just one Style.CSS for the slideshow.
Anyways, is their a way to tell tell the code that one page is going to be a different width then the other?

Embedded CSS rules take priority over styles in external style sheets. So you can add page specific rules between your document's <head> tags and after all other links to external CSS files.

Why do i have 2 of the same pictures on my computer

When i import photos there always ends up being 2 of them... i always select don't add duplicates. But for instance when I put a picture in it goes under to categorires
My name->Pictures->Iphoto Library->Masters->2008->Roll 92->Image name then that same picture is under this aswell

My computer is Mac book Pro and i have the most recent Iphoto

1 - that is how iPhoto works and no you can not change it
2 - you can not ever delete anuything from the iPhoto library unless you do it using iPhoto - in fact you should not be going into the iPhoto library at all - there is no reason to be there
3 - it is not taking double the space - thumbnails are very small
4 - and when you make any modifications to any photo a third version is created - the modified version - and again that is the way iPhoto works
5 - the only way to prevent this is to use a different probram that does no work this way (there are a number of very good reasons why iPhoto and other DAMs - Digital Assett Managers - work this way including keeping the digital negative, non-destructive editins, etc

Created a new .folio, uploaded this to the cloud, signed into ACV and I see 2 folios.

This signifies that this is the folio on the staging server - acrobat.com.
The one without signifies the copy that has been published.
The one on right is what is accesible to your app on customer devices.
