Why does the education section limit you to only the most recently released apps of a type such as communication, special education?

I realize the education section is huge, and appreciate the attempts to group like apps, but it still wont let me get to those updated or published, say, last spring. They are all the "top 20" or most recent. There used to be a choice called "all apps" but I dont see it in the education apps section like I do in other sections.

There may be other ways, but if you go back to the main iTunes Store page and select Browse, then App Store -> Education, you'll see all the apps available. You can sort by release date, which I believe is the default or by the other columns.

If you bought an unlocked iPhone then it will work with any carrier but will work only under the restrictions or requirements the carrier sets for its customers. Apple has nothing to do with that. You are describing a problem of restricted access created by the carrer. If you cannot carry out the functions you want, talk to the carrier and see what limits they are placing on you. An unlocked iPhone is fully capable of all functions the carrer allows.

Why does my website history not stay in order of most recent visited?

I just want to quickly find my favorite websites without having to bookmark. Normally, I used to click the down arrow and pick a recent site. Over and over and over again, the sites I go to that are the most recent are not the websites that are listed first. Often they are not in the top 10 or so that it will list. Is there a way to control this without having to create a favorite list?

The drop-down list on the address bar is based on a combination of frequency and recency. I'm not aware of a way to change that, but there could be an add-on that does it.
If you want a purely chronological list of history, you could consider using the History sidebar (Ctrl+h opens and also closes the sidebar). You can Shift+click and Ctrl+click, as well as using the right-click menu, to re-open pages from history in a new window or tab.

Along with what Skydiver119 has already told you, my 64GB iPad 3 only had 57GB of available storage out of the box, so if you keep doubling the amount of already used storage on the device as you go from 16 to 32 to 64 and then to 128GB - I assume that the figure that you see is correct. The iOS and preinstalled apps account for the storage that seems to be "missing" to you on your iPad.
The amount that you see in Settings>General>About>Capacity is in fact, the available storage capacity for your iPad. You can't change it. It is whatever it says it is in that setting.

why does fix capitalization work when there is only one space after the period in pages 09? For example: "Turn on 3rd St. After the traffic light." There is only one space after the period in "St." shouldn't it only auto correct after TWO spaces..?? the word After, should be after..

You may also use a noBreak space after the period at the end of the abbreviation.
If I remember well, in such case the capitalization will not apply.

Why does my iPhoto red eye reduction tool only give me blue or black blobs in the eyeballs that look completely unacceptable? Automatic mode makes blue blobs that cover iris and even eyelid! Manual mode gives black dots, not at all hte shape of a oerson's iris as seen in a picture.

THere is no fix - that is the way it works - you can post as many times as you want but it will not change the fact that that is the way that iPhoto works

What happens when the Mac goes to sleep (not just into idle mode or display sleep)?
On all Macs:
The microprocessor goes into a low-power mode
Video output is turned off, and a connected display may turn off or enter its own idle state
Apple-supplied hard disks spin down; third-party hard disks may spin down
On portable Macs:
The Ethernet port turns off, if applicable (see note below)
Expansion card slots turn off
The built-in modem, if present, turns off (see note below)
An AirPort card, if present, turns off (see note below)
The USB ports only responds to the power key on an external keyboard (see below)
The optical media drive, if present, spins down
Audio input and output turns off
Keyboard illumination, if a feature of your portable computer, turns off
But see the note about selecting, "Wake For Network Access" in Energy Saver preferences.
Note: Portable computers have no network connectivity when in sleep mode, but can wake if the Energy Saver option "Wake for network access" is enabled. SELECT K_TEST, K_TEST FROM DUAL;Will (logically) execute the function twice.
SELECT intest, intest
FROM (SELECT K_TEST intest FROM DUAL);Will execute the function twice too!
Why can't SQL buffer the inner result?
Does anyone have an idea on how to achieve executing the function only once? My original called function is quite heavy and returning a user defined type. Adding predicates, the function is executed 3 or 4 times!

This Lion OXS 7 is .. becoming very frustrating ... it will NOT keep changes made in the Address Book and it has destroyed my contacts which I only have electronically since 10.4 in my address book. I am NOT happy with this OS7 it has a lot of issues and faults. How can one stop automatic reversing of data when inputting???

Relax. Your address book database is corrupted.
If you are syncing your Contacts with MobileMe or something else, disable it for now.
Backup your address book by going to File>Export>Address Book Archive.
Quit Address Book.
Open your Library by holding down the Option (alt) key while selecting the Go menu in Finder. Select Library. Navigate into your Application Support/AddressBook folder and delete the addressbook-v22.abcddb file.
Open Address Book. It will recreate the database from the raw data.
See how that works. If it is ok, then reenable syncing and see how that works.

I bought him $30.00 worth of iTunes gift cards, he loaded them, but it won't let him use them. It just goes to his previously entered Visa card which he no longer has and it won't let him unselect it either. Sounds like theft to me!

Because you that's not a supported bluetooth profile on the iPhone... In order to sync contacts with a handsfree system, the system needs to support the PBAP bluetooth profile. If it does, then the contacts will sync automatically.
