I am trying to build a web site template. I have sidebar class which is nested in an HTML content wrapper. For some reason, when browsing the page, the sidebar appears below the content wrapper.
What CCS properties could cause this? What CSS properties should I set to make sure the sidebar displays inside the wrapper?

Technically, yes, it should be easy. However with rented videos you may be running into DRM (DIgital rights management) where you may not be allowed to play that video anywhere but on the iPad. The video could have a bit of programming in it that literally tells the HDMI or VGA output not to work.
One way to test the connection, with your ipad's camera, shoot a short video and try to mirror that. If it mirrors and the movie doesn't then it's likely that you're simply not allowed to mirror it. If it doesn't play then there may be something wrong hardware or setting wise.

Are you sharing an album of photos or a slideshow to iDVD? If it's an album then what you get in iDVD is just a slideshow with the photos in it where you have to set the transition and slide timing unless you add music and select fit to audio.
Don't know what you mean by the template format unless you're referring to the themes in a slideshow? If you share a slideshow the ss is converted to a Quicktime movie file and that is added to the iDVD menu window. No changes are possible.

It is sloppy architecture to simply have the mirroring / Apple TV buttons not shown when something is wrong - especially when both iphone and AppleTV are on same WiFi network with solid signal and no interference. Trying to figure out why (fickle) mirroring will not appear on the iphone should not be a guessing game, as the current architecture has it now. At least have a message protocol so the iphone can be told what is preventing mirroring so it can report to the iphone user.

I'm an applications developer and also run a part-time videography business. As such, I require more than 3.12GB of RAM. That is the physical limitation of a 32bit system. Pointless to stay on 32bit if you plan on having more than that much RAM.
I'm also not about to pay someone to fix my PC when I can do it myself. I was originally hoping for someone who had experienced the problem before to point me in the right direction so I didn't have to spend so much time trying to figure out what the issue was for myself.
Basically, in the end the problem was caused because right at the point in time when I chose to uninstall, and reinstall; Apple released a new version of iTunes. This version in turn had a requirement of iOS 4.2 to sync with the iPhone. This is a pretty embarrassing for Apple that they would release software reliant on other software before said software was released.
Had I realised I was downloading a newer version at the initial point of installation, this wouldn't have been an issue. I could've easily have rolled back iTunes to the previous version and gotten on with my life.
Another issue is that iTunes is not actually a 64 bit application. It masquerades as one to allow installation on the 64 bit platform.

Do you mean when you plug it in it doesn't charge? If so, check your charger and swap it out with another. If the issue persists iwth another charger then it's a problem with your device. take it into the local apple store and have them take a look at it.

If the animation is based on Flash. it will not work. iPhones have never had Flash capability, as Adobe has never provided it. Search the forums for "Flash" to see at least 5000 explanations.

Why FlowLayout - JPane will NOT auto adjust in size?

I don't understand why my little demo program's JPane(use FlowLayout manager) will not adjust the size correctly. When run, I see one row of buttons, which only show 11 of them; the rest are shown on secon row which only visible if I go resize the window. Why is that? Wouldn't FlowLayout manager will auto size the pane? My main frame used the pack() method, so it's up to the pane's preferredsize. Please give me some ideas. Thanks.

My question is why won't it adjust the pane size if the there is more than one line? It did draw the second line for things that won't fit in the first line... just not visible unless the whole window is resized to a bigger view. Can you please provide an explanation?

You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of previous versions of Reader:

Then, download the full offline Reader installer from
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
and run it immediately after restarting your computer.

What am i doing wrong? Why Solaris 10 will not create fdisk?

I am at wits end here, I have tried every known trick to get Solaris to load on my x86 machine.
The original download was true, I checked the sums all was fine. Burned the ISO onto DVD.
My old machine falls under the system reqs (memory is a little low, but it installs with text)
I wanted dual-boot with Ubuntu, that did not work.
I repartitioned the disk, tried to install S-10 first, that did not work.
I put a new drive in, plopped the S-10 DVD into the drive...you guessed it, that did not work.
I have used Ubuntus partition utility and changed some partition info within Ubuntu. That did not work.
I have used S-10's partitioner, that did not work.
I have used 3rd party partitioning tools...no go.
No matter what I do, S-10 install will always stop at "Configuring disk (c0d0) -Creating Fdisk partition table.
ERROR Could not create Fdisk partition table
ERROR Could not label disk
ERROR Could not update disk with new configuration
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
I tried to DL a new copy of S-10 but they upgraded it, and now this new version will not install at all.
HELP! Please!

There's a whole buch of things that could have gone wrong and I still can't tell which it is from the information you've
provided.
1) Up until a few years ago the Linux swap partition and Solaris both used the same system identifier (0x82)
in the fdisk partition table. Solaris has changed to use a different value, but it still accept the old value
to maintain compatability with older installs.
At present Solaris does not look at or install into the extended partitions,
To avoid this system identifier conflict, I sugest that you install Linux in the extended partitions
and not in the primary partitions. This has other benefits as well.
To do this you need to reinstall Linux and when you allocate space for linux just say that every partition is
an extended partition (or not a primary partition).
The disk will then appear as
/dev/hda1 extended
/dev/hda5 Linux root
/dev/hda6 Linux swap
/dev/hda7 Linux ...
2) The entire industry (BIOS vendors, Solaris, Windows, Linux, Partition Magic and other similar tools) have gone
through a tremendous growth in disk sizes. Up until recently (when Win/Vista showed up), we all pretty much
agreed that we would allocate space in cylinders and agreed that a cylinder was 255*63 sectors). No real rules
here, just a tacit gentleman's agreement. WinVT now allocates in multiples of 4096 blocks, and everybody else
is juggling to accomodate the 800 pound gorilla, ....
Bottom line - Solaris not overlap anybody else's partition, but sometimes we think we do, even though we don't.
And we'll fail the install until we're happy. So when you allocate a Solaris partition, sometimes it's best to waste
a little disk space and leave a gap (maybe as much as 16065 sectors) between adjacent partitions.
3) When you finally get Solaris installed and you want to multi boot, you have to use Solaris's verion of grub
and you cannot use Linux's version. (Linux's Grub does not support the UFS filesystem, but Solaris's Grub
does support all the Linux filesystems.
Before you install Solaris, when you are still running Linux, copy the file /boot/grub/menu.lst to a flash drive
or something that is available under Solaris.
After you've installed Solaris, open up the flash drive and merge the menu.lst file from Solaris and from Linux.
You'll probably add the following lines to the Solaris /boot/grub/menu.lst file. Just copy what you find in the Linux
file to theSolaris file.

Ideas on Why Some Playlist will not Play?

Some of my playlist will not play when I attempt to click the play button in any of the following situations:
1) List/Grid/Artist View where the Play Button is next to the playlist title - does not work
2) Place the playlist in "Grid View" and select an album in the playlist and then push the play button - does not work
3) drag play list to play status window and it loads into the "up next" and then a click of the main play button - works but an annoying dialogue window pop up on clearing "up next" a lot of dragging and clicking
Tried duplicating the playlist with same set of songs and it behaves the same
Tried creating a smart playlist with generally the same songs "Christmas Genere added in the year 2011" still not playing the playlist
I can go to to "Albums" browser instead of "Playlist" browser and select one of the albums that was in the playlist and the "Album" play button doesn't work either. I can play individual songs but not the album?
I also just noticed that the song are "dimmed" or "greyed" out?
Why is that?
Some playlist work fine.

At the end of Christmas last year unchecked the Christmase genere so they wouldn't show up in the DJ and other dynamicaly generated/smart playlists.

Having read the FAQ on the Nokia Homepage (I'm assuming this is what you meant...) this is what is mentioned.
"Nokia Belle is specifically tailored to each phone model, including the Nokia 500. Due to technical specifications, Nokia Belle for Nokia 500 differs to other Nokia Belle phones in the following aspects:
Nokia 500 with Nokia Belle only supports 4 homescreens.
Nokia 500 does not support NFC.
FM transmitter and widget are not supported in Nokia 500.
Nokia 500 includes Nokia Maps 3.06 instead of 3.08.
Additionally, Nokia 500 will get Angry Birds with the Nokia Belle update"
Basically, due to technical limitations, you will get
1) 4 homescreens
2) There is no NFC or FM transmitter therefore you do not get THOSE widgets.
You SHOULD get all the other widgets (the only reason you will not get the FM and NFC widgets is because you don't have that hardware. That's how I read it anyway.

See the hashed tables does not support index operations like in standard and sorted tables rather its individual entries are accessed by key. The hashed internal table has been developed specifically using hashing algorithm. In other words, APPEND statement will not work in hashed internal tables but only in standard tables.
The processing of hashed tables are undertaken by using a KEY whereas for the standard table you may use the key to access it contents or not.

Just updated to I Tunes 11 some apps will not sync to my i pod touch. Has others went thur the same problem?

My Ipod touch is about 2 years old running the latest o s and itunes. Before the upgrade all apps were on the itunes but when I tried to drag and drop them the ipod did not install them and both apps are less then a year from their release. These problems happen after the new upgrades

Why HD content will not be on your computer

There have been many posts about people not seeing HD content available for their computer, but only the Apple TV. The reason is not Apple's but the content providers (movie and TV studios) have set up rules for all hardware and software suppliers that are intended to stop consumers from making digital to digital copies of HD content. The only way the industry wants their content to be digitally outputted is through HDMI or DVI, today primarily HDMI. The only devices that are allowed to take in HDMI or DVI are monitors or TVs that will have HDCP protection decoders. All recording devices like DVD recorders only have SD inputs like s-video and composite video all SD 480i.
If Apple or any computer or peripheral supplier for computer has an HDMI or DVI input device, it will NOT have a HDCP decoding capabilities. There are computer boards that have HDMI input ports intended for you to capture your own video from your HD Camcorder, but none will decode a signal the has HDCP protection.
I know lots of people are disappointed that they cannot watch their rented iTunes movies on their beautiful iMac and Cinema screens in HD, but that is the content industries rules not Apple’s. Apple TV recorded HD content has HDCP protection on their digital HDMI output. Apple will be able to control people from extracting the HD content from this device a lot easier than one of their computers.
This issue has been bouncing around for over a year with HD DVRs when studios and TV stations started broadcasting HD content. Their outputs that are digital, mostly HDMI, all support HDCP protection like Apple TV’s HDMI port. The Apple TV is very much like a DVR where it records on to a Hard Drive and output for viewing over HDMI or Component outputs. The real difference is Apple TV records off the Internet.

MBPr's are very recent machines. The oldest ones are from this past summer. Mine has a quad-core i7 2.6 GHz and 16 GB of RAM, and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5, along with the Retina display. This is more than enough system power to display HD movies, per the article you reference unhelpfully.
