Why- I try to connect my Samsung PL 55 camera to my iPad 1 using the camera kit it tells me this accessory is not supported by iPad. I have tried restarting etc but nothing works
I got the camera kit and plug in my Samsung pl55 camera. The iPad eventually says this accessory is not supported by iPad. a matte camera asks me if ! want to connect the USB to a computer or a printer. I select computer but by then it's too late and everything just sits and nothing happens.
Are you using Apple's iPad Camera Connection Kit?

Are you trying to send JPEG images from the camera to the iPad?
Your post has a portion that starts with " a matte". I don't understand it. Perhaps the beginning of the sentence got omitted.

I think I have a 1st gen ATV. The other evening I got the ubiquitous "Error-HDCP content etc, try again" message. When I logged back in later, the Movies tab was gone from the menu screen as was Netflix under the Internet tab. I have tried reset, restore, unplugging etc and nothing works, any thoughts?

My ipad just won't let me sign in with my apple password on FaceTime or iMessage since updating to ios7 it says check my network connection, even though my iPhone works fine with the same password, can anybody help please, I have tried numerous things but nothing works. Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

Suddenly iPad gets: this accessory is not supported by ipad on an accessory that worked for years.
I have an iHome iD85 it used to work fine, but now I get the error this accessory is not supported by ipad.
Is there a way to find out if its the iPad or iHome... and / or how to fix it?

I have tried It ALL but nothing works.
After updating my iPhone 5s and my iPad to ios8 the bluetooth and the AirPlay doesn't work properly. AirPlay isn't there at all, and bluetooth can connect to a windowsphone but not to another Apple device. I have tried it all and nothing works.

restarted, factoryreset, softreset and everything else i have been able to Google …again,and again, and again NOTHING works!

Double check the version of iTunes on your computer. You must have iTunes 11.1 or later.

I have trying for ages to download itunes 10.3 to my laptop(windows vista 34bit) it starts downloading but at the point every time it freezes and doesn't finish installing. I have tried all sorts of suggestions but nothing doing. Anyone got any idea's. IPhone and IPod touch no good without it

I have tired deactiving my device from icloud online, I have had my contacts delete me and re-add me as a contact. I have also had them try deleting our entire message thread and starting a new one. I also had them hold down message and select "send as regular text" 3-5 times. I tried texting stop to some number I found in another discussion thread. NOTHING HAS WORKED. I called Apple support who claims they cannot help me. My service provider just refers me to apple. And now, some of my contacts no longer have the option to "send as regular text" when they hold down the messges to me! Please, please help me!

Thanks for the response. I contacted Apple at the link you listed and spoke with a representative. We walked through the steps I took in my first post above to ensure I had done them correctly. He didn't offer any new suggestions other than making sure my contacts turn on their MMS before texting me.
Unfortunately that is not working either. I tested this with several friends and I am still not receiving their messages. They get a response immediately upon texting me that says the message was undeliverable. They are able to receive my messages, I just don't get theirs.
Any other ideas?
It's mind boggling that Apple has made this such a difficult transition. There should not be repurcussions for choosing to discontinue the use of their product. The only other thing I can think to do is have my service provider change my phone number... what a nightmare. -
When I connect the 30 pin digital AV adapter to my iPad 2 I get the above error message. I tried reset/ power recycle etc. No joy!

My iphone 4s will not turn on, It was working properly and then I noticed the battery was at 1% I then proceeded to charge my phone like normal but nothing happened. The phone was unable to turn back on it's been two hours I already, tried to reset but nothing works. I tried different chargers, my ihome nothing is working.

I should add that this has never been Jailbroken. I keep reading that a lot of times this is the case for a jail broken phone.
I have also gone through the not very helpfull steps on apples site to fix this.. It is not a security issue since i dont have an antivirus or any 3rd party software for my computer. -
My new macbook pro doesnt turn on. i press the power button and i can hear it runing but it wont turn on. i tried charging it but nothing works. help me please.

every time i connect my ipod touch 4th gen. it says this accessory is not supported by ipod touch so people recommended me to just buy a new charger, so i did, but the night before I got my new charger it stopped charging, what should I do now?

the other day when iOS8 came out i downloaded it onto my 5th generation iPod, it has been working perfectly fine since, now today when i left it for a couple of hours, it turned itself off and now it won't turn back on. i have tried charging it but nothing is happening. it's not out of charge because the little battery usually comes up when its charging, but the screen is completely black and nothing is happening. i have tried turning it on by both buttons and it won't work. i don't know whats wrong with it. i haven't topped it or anything, so I'm assuming its the new download as it seems to be effecting other peoples devices as well. what should i do?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
