Why is Firefox blocking Google Adsense?

Firefox is blocking Google Adsense, which is undesirable for me. The Addblock add-on is not installed. I have emptied my cache. Java is active. It is not a firewall issue. Ads appear normally in all other browsers. THIS IS A FIREFOX ISSUE.

Could you test in a new Firefox profile. In addition to bypassing current add-ons and custom settings, it should have completely fresh settings databases and a fresh cache folder and no Google cookies.
Close Firefox and start up in the Profile Manager as described in [https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Managing+profiles Managing profiles]. Any time you want to switch profiles, close Firefox and return to this dialog.
Notice any difference?

  • Why is firefox blocking google

After installing Firefox at the recomendation from a person from minecraft, I went onto google with no problems, I then re-aranged my favorites/bookarked websites, set my homepage as google and then closed the browser. I then re-launched the browser and this started hapening: http://imgur.com/GO55EPU How do I fix?
    I use bullgaurd antivirus

Check the date and time and time zone in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.
Check out why the site is untrusted and click "Technical Details" to expand this section.
If the certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided (sec_error_unknown_issuer) then see if you can install this intermediate certificate from another source.
You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.
*Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".
*Click the "View..." button and inspect the certificate and check who is the <b>issuer of the certificate</b>.
You can see more Details like intermediate certificates that are used in the Details pane.
If <b>"I Understand the Risks"</b> is missing then this page may be opened in an (i)frame and in that case try the right-click context menu and use "This Frame: Open Frame in New Tab".
*Note that some firewalls monitor (secure) connections and that programs like Sendori or FiddlerRoot can intercept connections and send their own certificate instead of the website's certificate.
*Note that it is not recommended to add a permanent exception in cases like this, so only use it to inspect the certificate.

  • Why does Firefox block certain pages?

On many occasions, I click on a website and get a grey bar with a red x across the top of a blank page that says "Firefox won't allow page," or "Firefox has redirected this page," but nothing happens.
Why is Firefox blocking these pages and what can I do short of going to IE to stop it?

  • Why does Firefox impose Google as a search engine in it's home page?

Why does Firefox impose Google as a search engine in it's home page?

I've found Firefox to be very unstable when it comes to choosing a different home page & search engine, frequently ignoring my choices & reverting to the default settings between launches. This also applies to Google & the choice of language if it's different to that of the country the person's in, which is my main gripe with Google, it doesn't detect the language of the operating system but that of the geographical location, forcing one to alter the settings every time, which is extremely annoying! Please do something about all this if possible, thanks.

I get a blocking message about google. I need google. Why is it being blocked and how do i get it back. What other search sites have you blocked?

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

  • Why does firefox reject google toolbar?

I upgraded to 5.0 and got a pop-up that comes up on every web site called "error console".I went back to 3.6.18 and now I find that firefox won't allow google toolbar.

You posted three weeks ago, perhaps Google upped their maxVer since, besides there is a 3.6.19 so the maxVers should really be 3.6.* but Google does not put their toolbar on addons, and possibly would be rejected for several reasons (proprietary code, not subject to review, not under their control), so it's hard to see that unless you actually install it. If you do have it back you need to start working on those workarounds.
'''The Google Toolbar is no longer supported by Google in Firefox 5 and up''', you may be able to get what you want from it for a limited time, the directions to install the Google Toolbar were posted before Google actually announced dropping support.

  • Why is Firefox blocking install_flashplayer 16x32_mssa_aaa_aih(1).exe

I am getting messages that videos cannot be shown because I need flashplayer updated. When I try to install and run, I get the message that Firefox is blocking it. How do I get my videos back?

Your System Details list shows a rather old Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800 plugin.
You can uninstall the current Flash player version and (re)install the latest Flash version.
See this about uninstalling Flash players:

Note that this will remove all installed Flash players.
You can find the latest Flash player versions for Firefox on this page:

  • WHY IS FIREFOX BLOCKING MY SECURITY PROGRAM

I recently added eset security system to my desktop. I consistenly get the error message, eset is being blocked by firefox.

When Firefox discovers a new extension on your system, for example, a toolbar from your security software, Firefox shows a page asking for your approval to install it in Firefox. Is that not working?
If I misunderstood the kind of blocking you are experiencing, could you explain what is happening in more detail? You also can attach a screen shot to a reply, using the browse button below the text box. (This isn't possible with the original question.) This article has tips on creating a screen shot: [[How do I create a screenshot of my problem?]]

  • Why is firefox blocking my yahoo mail

Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading. I get this every time I go to BT Yahoo. I have tried different things but nothing works.

I should have asked about the shaking: is this from side to side or vertically? If it's vertical, perhaps your "smooth scrolling" is glitchy. Have you noticed any issues with scrolling? You could try turning off that feature here:
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced > General

  • Why does Firefox always block any link I try to open going to a web page when I don't have pop up blocker on?

Why does Firefox always block any link I try to open going to a web page when I don't have pop up blocker on? First off they are not even pop ups....your crap blocks everything and don't save user names &/or passwords when you have it checked. Also in your tutorials about solving this issue says it has the word "OPTION" .......no, it never says option to allow you to bypass it and etc. Only thing is says is "ALLOW" . That would be nice , but the problem is it will not allow it from then on. It only allows it right then and then you have to refresh...after that to open again it blocks it again.....HOW STUPID?!!!!!
It always say that this is preventing this page from automatically redirecting to another page. THIS IS WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO...GO TO ANOTHER PAGE........I DON'T NEED YOUr BROWSERS PERMISSION TO DO THAT. THAT IS WHAT A *%#$&*(&*%$$%% BROWSER IS FOR TO GO TO OTHER PAGES......THEY ARE NOT POP UPS!!!!!
YOU STUPID BROWSER ACTUALLY BLOCKS EVERYTHING AND THAT SUX!!!
    HELP!!

  • Why does firefox keep blocking websites that I have gone to in the past

Why does firefox keep blocking websites I have gone to in the past?

    From http://watchseries.lt/tips#htw
<pre><blockquote>Why videos do not work for me?
You need Flash Player or DivX Player. Both of these programs are used everywhere online; their size is small and will not harm your computer. You should download them from here:

  • Why force Firefox fans to download from Google play store?

This seems flagrant cronyism. Why in the world would would Firefox limit downloads to Google Play or "market places"? Come on guys! You must know how absurd this is! Not everyone wants Google sneaking around on their ROM. Offer the apk somewhere else!

Thanks for the link. It should, however, be the default link for downloads.

Google play is the official source of downloading any apps for Android. May be that's why they have chosen google play as the default. And many cases user doesn't turn on permission to install app outside of the google play.

  • Why does Mozilla Firefox use Google as their web search if Google stores everything we search?

Why does Mozilla Firefox use Google as their search engine if Google stores everything you search and track what you do online? I've got nothing against Firefox, I'm just wondering why.

I just figured they wouldn't have since they don't track what people do. I figured they were against that.
