Why is the statement "if (fn_vec.length == 0)" throwing error "RangeError: Error #1125: The index 0 is out of range 0."?
fn_vec is a Vector.<Function>, and it's not null. It's length is in fact zero.
This makes no sense.

the problem with the second block of code is that you are
enumerating through the children of the canvas using their index
number. The problem with this is that you are removing children
from the canvas. When you remove a child from a parent object the
index is recalculated and ultimately the number of children for
that parent object is reduced by 1. Since you are starting at zero
and going forward through the loop index you are reaching the last
child index about half way through the loop. A way that would
probably work to fix this would be to loop backwards through the
children (ie start at the last index and loop back to index 0).

I have Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.2 installed on my 15" Macbook Pro (Mid-2010).
Upon initiating Software Update, the App Store window appears > 'Checking for Updates' > results in: "An Error has Occurred. The request timed out." (after approximately of 30 seconds).
This is an on-going issue. The OS Firewall is disabled and no third party anti-virus/security software has been installed.
I have contacted Apple Technical Support and they advised the installation of Combo/Supplementary (10.8.2) software.
This was updated as advised; yet the same problem still exists!
Can anyone assist with a 'fix' for this issue and the reason why it is occurring please?

Will something like this work on an iPhone and where would I locate it? My App Store was working just fine and this last week it's been slower and slower, plus difficulties with downloading and updates. Both my downloads and updates start and then pop up a 'can't install at this time'. I thought it might b my storage space so I started deleting. Well I have plenty of space now and still get same problem.
Now over the last two days I will type in a search to reinstall the apps that I removed and the App Store tells me request timed out.

I have dropped and recreated a fact table to refresh the data as the table is having identity columns. So not able to directly insert data. After that cube is throwing above error.

It hard to analyse the issue base on the limited information, Are there any error message on the log? Under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS11.\OLAP\Log (this could be different for your server), there are 3 log files that are generated:
msmdrrv.log
FlightRecorderCurrent.trc
FightRecorderBack.trc
The msmdrrv.log simply points to the other two logs. There might be some detail information for this error. Please provide us the detail information about it, so that we can make further analysis.

When I open a PDF generated from a classic ASP application, some particular documents fail when accessing a page: there was an error processing a page. a number is out of range.
This only happens in Adobe Reader 10 and 11.
The ASP page has a code similar to this:
Response.AddHeader "Content-disposition", "attachment; filename = doc.pdf"
Response.ContentType = "application / pdf"
Response.Write Session ("PDF")
Try adding different settings in the properties AddHeader / ContentType / CharSet etc, but always the same.
In the screenshot you can see the mistake in page 3

Sounds like the pdf is corrupt. Try a forced quit. (command option escape)

The update file is around 700 megs so if you're on a slow connection it does time out. You can also look into your anti virus software or firewall, it might be blocking the file. Also if you're trying to download it over 3G it won't work. There's a 20 meg cap on all 3G downloads.

May I see you have 6 inputs to your Mathscript Node. When you test it in Matlab I suposse that you're using some values for this inputs and everything work as expected. Then, run it in Labview using highlight execution, retaining wire values and using single stepping. Check the values which are being inserted to your Mathscript Node and ensure that they are correct. You're having an "indexes out of bounds" mistake, so it probably means that there is something wrong with the inputs according to your expectations. You can also put the MathScript alone in another VI and insert the inputs you're expecting manually and check in the same way.

Yes it should have 0. I would return it, that means that the battery has already went through 13 full cycles. Perhaps they accidentally resold a returned one as new.

Fixing an array index's out of range error

Am stuck in an eLearning project that I am working on and need some help fixing a 2007 error that seems to point to an index for an array being out of range.

Since there appear to be only 9 elements getting added to the array, and your numDisplay is set to be 10, your condition ( if(index<numToDisplay){ ) allows index++ to get to 10, which will be out of range for your array. See if changing the value of numDisplay to 9 solves the problem.

Console errors (multiple, 60-some) -- "value of separation out of range"

I have a long, 128 page chapter.
I was getting a "font not found, substitute Times New Roman for MS Shell Dlg 2" console message when I
opened the file.
An online search turned up the suggestion that if you can't actually find the font in your doc, to get rid of it, saving the file as MIF, and opening
and re-saving to FM, might solve the problem. ("If the font isn't really there to begin with.")
It didn't work. The console error message from opening the MIF file says, **The "MS Shell Dlg 2" Font is not available. "Times New Roman"
will be used in this session.**
On top of which, that same console error window also has about 60 lines with a different numerical variation of:
MIF: "K:\Technical Publications Current Projects\00 yadda yadda filename.mif" (126817): Value of Separation out of range (11).
The messages are all the same, only the six digit numbers in parantheses change.
I'm on a (relatively) NEW Dell Precision T1500 box with 64 bit Win 7 & FM 9.0p255. All graphics in the file were imported by reference into
anchored frames from a "graphics n pix" folder in the same directory as the FM file.
....I don't know if this is really a problem or not, but the filie does take a heck of a long time to open, and there's
usually a paranthetical note in the window top bar, following the FM file name, that says Windows (not responding.)
Which goes away when the file does open. (In 2 or 3 minutes? Haven't put a stopwatch on it....)
This file is just one of many similarly sized docs, so I'm a little worried about what might happen when they're all collected
into the book file.
Any suggestions, info or advice would be much appreciated.

“MS Shell Dlg is a mapping   mechanism that enables U.S. English Windows NT/Windows 2000 to support   locales that have characters that are not contained in code page 1252.   It is not a font but a face name for a nonexistent font. It can be specified   in either the Windows NT/Windows 2000 Setup file during the installation   process or when customizing a local system by double-clicking Control   Panel's Regional Options icon. When you double-click the icon, click the   Set default ... button in the General sheet of the Regional Options dialog   box. Select the appropriate locale in the Select System Locale dialog   box and click OK, then restart the system. The appropriate change occurs   in the following registry key:

A benefit of font mapping   in the registry is that you can change the font for the entire shell by   simply changing one .inf file entry. Try to analyse the error in the manage tab of that cube, and try to do the reconstruction of indexes manually.

I didn't have any problems loading those sites, v10.6.7 and Safari 5.0.4.
Go to Safari / Preferences - Advanced. Click the Change Settings button next to: Proxies
That will prompt the System Preferences / Network - Proxies pane.
If any of the boxes are selected on the left, deselect, then click OK. Restart Safari. See if that makes a difference.
If Proxies aren't the issue, check Safari / Preferences - Extensions. If you have any installed, turn that off, then try Safari.

I have created a web repository and configured a TREX search for that .
Search is working fine except I cannot see the html version of the searched document when I click on the 'html version' link.
When I click on 'html version' link I get an error message saying 'index service not found'.

Why do my Boolean control get a different display when I the controls grayed out?

I have some Boolean control in a cluster which I grayed out programmatically. If I do that this control's get grey as expected. But if I do that with Boolean which are grouped in a decoration field then the control become a blue style. How can I change the grayed out color?
