Why is my button width 1?

Ok I'm officially confused.
Why is the width of my button 1 and height 28 (when it should be  237 x 51)? It seems to be interfering with multiple buttons I have in my other animations.

Can I change it to the actual size that it should be, because when I try it scales the button way too long?

The button is a Symbol and the size has been changed at some point.
I just looked at your file, to correct it
- double click the btnRollover symbol in the Symbols Panel
- at the symbol Stage properties, turn off 'proportional' size by clicking the link icon;
- then set the w to 237 and h to 51;
- then exit Symbol Edit mode.

    "width" is not a style. It is a property, so you can't set it
    via CSS.
    Depending on where your Button is located and why you want to
    use a
    style, you could set the "left" and "right" constraints,
    which will
    indirectly set the width based on the size of the Button's
    container.

    Why does a Button auto-size itself to completely fill a cell in a Grid if I write the code for it in the .xaml-file but fit to the Button.Content if I drag-and-drop the Button into the Grid from the Controls toolbox? Somehow, the software remembers where
    the Button came from, but I can't see where, and if I look in the Properties window I can see what dimensions it gets from the auto-sizing, but I can't see any options to change the behavior. Apparently I have to hardcode the dimensions of the Button to fix
    it, and that, obviously, is not desirable.
    Incidentally, it seems that if I cut-and-paste the code for a Button from one .xaml-file to another, it behaves as if the component was drag-and-dropped into place, i.e. even if the Button fills out the Grid cell in the source project it wil shrink to fit
    the Button.Content in the destination project.
    Why is this? And where is it that I haven't looked to make the Button behave?

    This is the default behavior in VS. Seems there is no way can control it. May be you can create a custom button to solve your problem.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
    How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer                            
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    Yes I checked it.  As far as I can see I did everything Apple said to do.  I took some screen shot so you can see how the screens are connected and what and where the code is, and what it does when I drag the cancel and done bar buttons to the exit

    When I replace auto menu buttons with custom PSD images, and want to remove Muse SHow Items, the menu defaults to Uniform Size. Even if I deselect Edit Together, button widths are uniform. Adjusting Scale to Fit or Scale to FIll has no effect.

    Have you tried changing to uniformed spacing?

    i set a button width property to 200px and i see layout preview correctly in SE80
    but the framework seems to optimize automatically  button width on the rendering (button text is short) ...
    is there a way to force button width?

  • When going to my hometown paper's site I get a dropdown banner that says Firefox has prevented this site from reloading ,but when I click on the allow button you have on the banner nothing happens so why is the button there?

    When I go to the local paper's from Elmira,NY and some other sites I get a drop down banner at the top of the page that tell me Firefox has prevented this page from reloading,but when I go to the allow button that you put on the right side of the banner and click on it the banner goes away and then it comes right back. It will come back every time you click allow until I click on the x box. So I want to know why is the allow button there if it does nothing?

    Click the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | Advanced and in the General tab, remove the checkmark from "'''Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page'''".
    You won't get that dropdown banner anymore afterwards.

  • Why is the button sub-picture on all the time?

    I have been told to create a menu with just one button on it... PLAY.
    Don't ask me why. I think it is weird too...
    I insert the DVD in the player, menu appears, and, a fraction of a second later, the sub-picture comes on.
    Same thing happens in PREVIEW and on an actual burned DVD.
    "Automatically Route Buttons" is OFF.
    "Default Button" is set to NONE.
    It is just a small annoyance, but I'd like the user to see the sub-picture go on and off as they move the cursor.
    Anybody have any idea what I can do?

    When you have one button, it is the default. And it is always "selected," because there is no other button. On a two button menu, the selection doesn 't ever go off, it goes from one to the other.
    You could make an invisible button, set it so no highlights ever show, and make it the default.
    But as soon as your button get selected, it won't go back "off" until the other button is selected.
    Remember too that cursor movement (i.e. mouse over effect) is only on the computer; on a TV, the remotes moves to the options.

    I'm having some trouble using ctrl + "any button" in illustrator CS6 (v. 16.0.2 64-bit) with windows 7. I'm not sure how or why it stops working but I usually go on with my normal job and all of a sudden ctrl-commands stops working. (I will try to look into exactly when it happens and get back to here) I can't use ctrl+c, ctrl+v or even ctrl+n for a new document. Alt-commands such as alt+drag and drop with left mouse button to copy still works. I try to reboot illustrator but it's the same thing, ctrl-button doesn't work. I
    All ctrl-commands (and just the ctrl-button in general) works well in windows and in my browser (firefox).
    Things I've tried but with no success...
    - Re-plugging my keyboard
    - Looked over settings for short commands (they're set to standard)
    - Reboot illustrator
    - Killed illustrator.exe through "ctrl+alt+del"
    Things I've tried with success...
    - Restarting the computer makes ctrl-button work again
    However, if I open a saved document (pdf or ai) ctrl-commands all of a sudden works.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated! /Fredrik

  • Why is the Box width different in different browsers?

    I am coding a page for someone and their page is on my test area at the moment.
    I know it's a company but I am not advertising it or anything here.

    Now I am looking at the callback input form here...
    When browsed in firefox the boxes you fill in stay within the boundries of the blue box.
    However when using Chrome and IE I get the input boxes breaking outside the boundries.
    I am using CSS to set these widths so why are they misbehaving?
