Why is my cache full entries to my bookmarked sites after sorting those bookmarks

Fx 3.6.3. By default, all my history, cookies & cache are always cleared on close. I launched a new session and did nothing but sort my bookmarks. I did not visit any sites.
Yet my cache was full of entries to all of the sites whose bookmarks I had sorted.
Can someone explain to me why this happens? It seems like a privacy issue to me.

Yes, it is a modification I made to prefs on a specific profile I use for testing projects related to internet privacy and security for a consumer privacy education nonprofit. I intentionally use this profile when submitting posts to see how Mozilla's own web properties handle such strings and to record the comments, if any, others make with regard to the modification; I do mention in my leading sentence I am (or was at that time, anyway) using Fx 3.6.3 just for that very reason, but I do apologize if it caused any confusion. I am happy to see Fx appears to respect the user's setting.
So back on topic:
The cache I am referring to is the listing of entries that appear when typing
<code>
about:cache
</code>
into the Awesome Bar. In my case, specifically, this would refer to the RAM cache as it is the only cache (of the three I know of: RAM, disk, and offline) enabled on any of my profiles.
I have attached a screen shot of the cache entries after I completed a manual sorting of 3 bookmarks just a few minutes ago; the key for each entry is the URL associated with each of the bookmarks sorted (by "sorting" I mean I took 3 bookmarks out of the Unsorted Bookmarks folder and dropped them into other folders according to my own personal bookmark classification protocol, ie: Wikipedia bookmarks go into one folder, Google bookmarks into another, bookmarks to sites related to Linux yet another, so on and so forth...) This was all done within the Bookmarks Organizer; no other windows were open and no pages loaded while I was moving the bookmarks.
The content of each cache entry is typically the html of the page the bookmark points to, if indeed the URL of the bookmark points to an html page, either directly (bookmark to www.example.com/page.html) or by some form of standard redirect/default server behavior (bookmark to www.example.com opens www.example.com/index.html, for instance, as the default Apache server behavior). Unfortunately, the screen shots of those pages are huge (1-2 mb in size saved as GIF!) so if you'd like to verify their content as I've reported here, the shots have been uploaded to ImageShack; these links are direct links to the file and because the screenshots are so big in size (because of the narrow column set up in the entries, the pages are VERY LONG), when the image first loads you'll just see what looks like a blurry vertical line, you'll have to zoom in to get it to be readable).

So, I am sure this is obvious, but when I am disconnected from the internet and repeat the sort process described above, the cache is empty.
The fact that the browser is making requests as the result of simply dropping a bookmark into one folder from another is potentially a privacy problem for the user, not to mention the server-side impact such behavior has on the accuracy of a web page's statistics.
These requests in the cache entries are not reflected in the browser History nor does the Bookmark Organizer indicate that activity has occurred - "Visit Date" on the 3 bookmarks referenced above shows a date other than today.
Also, you've piqued my curiosity - what is the folder you refer to that holds the "history cache"? What is the path to this folder in OS X as I don't have such a folder in any of my profiles - in OS X or in Linux either... the only folders present in my profiles are:
*bookmarkbackups
*chrome
*extensions
*minidumps
*searchplugins

After sorting the bookmarks do not stay sorted. why?

After finding the sort feature under view not organize, I sorted them alphabetically. I did this multiple times using both the alphabetic feature and the A-Z feature but they revert to a random order in both the show bookmarks menu and on the bookmarks toolbar. I did have an auto sort add on enabled.

The Views menu in the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) is for viewing the bookmarks in a different sorting order (hence the name Views) and doesn't sort bookmarks permanently.
In Firefox the option to sort bookmarks is only available for folders and not for individual bookmarks. 
Right-click a folder to open the context menu and choose "Sort By Name" in the left pane of the Bookmarks Manager or in the sidebar to sort the bookmarks alphabetically or drag bookmarks to the wanted position. 
If dragging doesn't work then use Cut and Paste instead.

Data Cache full - what is the soultion

Hello, I am using essbase. In this 7 are sparse members and 2 are dense members. I am using parallel calculation, with 3 threads. After loading the data when calculation starts it says an error "DATA CACHE FULL INCREASE THE DATA CACHE". I increased the data cache data file cache to twice as existing. Existing size is default one. But still the calcualtion was not happening. Can any one suggest why it is happening and what has to be done. Do the needful. Regards R.Prasanna

I have no concrete information that there are any risks, only suspicion based on the way most servers operate. You dedicated 4 GB of memory to one running application. Depending on how much physically exists on the server, this could result in a lot of paging taking place, adversely affecting performance across the entire server. In general, the physical addressable memory caps out at 4 GB (although depending on the O.S., 2 GB is the limit for application space). What all this means, is that you are not (probably) allowing the O.S. any "room" to operate in, and even though you only have one application, the O.S. still needs some space too. Again, "don't fix what ain't broken" applies here, but you might want to try a somewhat more discrete setting and see if things actually improve somewhat. If you "only" allocated 2 or 3 GB instead of 4, would it continue to work, etc... If anyone else out there has used a setting above 2 GB, I'd be interested in hearing how it went for you -- perhaps my fears are totally unfounded (though ( still believe there's reason for caution).

Essbase Data Cache Full Error

I am encountering an Essbase data cache full error while running some calc scripts. I have already try to set the data cache size to 800MB to 1.6GB, and index cache to around 100MB. It is quite a large BSO Essbase, with one dimension over 1000 members, another about 2500 members, and the last one about 3000 members.
I have three similar scripts and each is for different entities to aggregate on some of those dimensions.
For example, I started with unload the app/db, and run the calc script 1 for Entity1, it is successfully; However, I continue to run on calc script 2 for Entity 2, it showed the "data cache full error". However, after I unload the app/db, and then run calc script 2 again, I can have the calc scripts completed with no errors.
I am running on Essbase 11.1.1.3 on AIX platform 32-bit Essbase.
Anyone had encountered that before. Is it a problem with Essbase RAM handling, in this case?

We have found that it is the entity dimension that should be responsible to this problem.
I remember we have encountered this kind of problem before when we aggregate an application with the entity dimension hierarchy mixed with shared and stored instances of the same level 0 members. To put it simple, there are three members under "Entity" dimension member, which represents different view of entity hierarchies of same level 0 members. the first one has stored level 0 entity members while the other two have shared ones. And at that time, our client added another hierarchy with shared level 0 members, but they did not put this tree under "Entity" dimension member directly, but rather put it under the first child of "Entity", which is the one with stored level 0 members.
It is a little bit confusing to describe the situation only by text. Anyway, at that time, the first hierarchy had both stored and shared instances of the same group of level 0 members. And the data cache is always full when aggregating. and after we moved the forth hierarchy to another tree so under that hierarchy the level 0 members are all shared instances, the aggregation worked flawlessly.
I wondered why this happened and consider this is related to detailed calculation logic of Essbase. May you shed some light on this topic? Thank you with all my heart!

Annoying Cache-Full Problems when Launching Business Rules

Hello,
We are using Planning 1.1.1.3 with Essbase 11.1.1.3.000.
I am not sure whether it is suitable place to ask this problem. If this is the wrong place to post, please kindly let me know.
Our client encountered a lot of data cache full errors recently, but the cache is set as usual and no significant change in BRs discovered.
To better tune the cache settings and BR launch procedure, I would like to know the answers to below questions:
1. Is there any garbage collection mechanism related to Essbase cache?
If we encountered data cache full error, we can only feel confident before next BR execution after restart the application and see the cache return to 0. But I think it stupid because we shouldn't have to manually reset the cache. Is there any official document or explanation about cache release mechanism of Essbase cache?
2. How big is enough?
We set the data cache for this application as 4G and MEMSCALINGFACTOR 2, so it should be 8G total data cache assigned. I wondered is there any guideline about how big the cache should be regarding to the dimension size, fix range, calculation function and so on?
3. Do other operations also use up Essbase cache?
For example, opening a 5000-row ad-hoc excel form, 100 users submitting data at the same time...

I have just upgraded to OS Lion, purchased an iPhone 4S and have also moved to iColuds - why do I have 2 entries for all my events in iCal?

You can just delete the ones you don't want from the document Library. Be careful though, that you do not delete the symbol(s) that are being used on the canvas.
It's hard to say how you got so many duplicates in the first place without knowing your workflow.
My guess is that you created a new symbol every time you added something to the canvas, but that is only a guess.

Why do my previous calendar entries disappear on my iPhone 5? Sometimes I have to reference previous appointments. From January 2014 and before they are gone except for the repeat entries I have made.

You can't change languages in any of the movies offered in the store. Some movies have subtitles but it is in the same language as the movie.
Depending on what country you are in, you may get movies in that countries native language.

why is my cache results not highligted anymore?

When I do a word/s search.
Normally the words I typed and searched on Google will be highlighted in different colors each word at the top of the webpage.
The same color will be highligted for each word/s whenever they appears all throught out the page. when I open it as cached.
Now the words don't highlight any more and no color even.
