Are you also using the same Apple ID for FaceTime, as listed under Settings > FaceTime?
If so, don't. While it's perfectly okay to share an Apple ID for iTunes & App Store, you shouldn't share an Apple ID with another person for the following:
iCloud
FaceTime
Messages
Use a unique personal Apple ID. Whoever is the actual owner of the current Apple ID needs to keep using that. The other person needs to make their own Apple ID, and use that for iCloud, FaceTime & Messages. Maybe even Game Center to be on the safe side.

I've recently bought the iPad with Retina display. Updated the software, uploaded my music and all, but two days later after adding two episodes of a TV programme (also from iTunes) it looks like the brightness level goes down then comes back to normal then does it again, making it look like on the film set it's suddenly sunny then that the sun is hidden and so on so forth. It keeps happening with various videos. It's quite annoying and I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem, so I was wondering if anyone has: is it a software fault or a problem with the iPad itself? (the latter would be really inconvenient as it is brand new) Or is there something that can be done?

You will have to contact the government to find out why they ordered it removed. An iPhone purchased there can never have it added back in, even in a country where FaceTime is legal.

I'm sorry but Bluetooth on iPad/iPhone doesn't work as you'd expect it too, particularly if you've used Nokia or other brands in the past. Bluetooth on iPad/iPhone will only allow you to add other devices such as keyboards or headsets.

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. Double-click the Home button and swipe Task Bar to the right. Check the Rotation Lock on the far left of Task Bar.

I have asked my local carrier 1010 about their LTE service and they said the frequency of their 4G is actually matched with iPad 4th gen but it was Apple who decided to limit their latest iPad and iPad mini 4G LTE to certain carriers but not CSL and PCCW. I think it is extremely unfair to customers who bought the the latest iPad or iPad mini(from apple store but not from telecom company) presuming they can use the 4G LTE feature.

Sometimes rapid purchases look suspicious if you have a credit card attached to your account. Store credit takes a minute to catch up depending if the balance is low on the account. May want to check balance or with credit card company.

I have now solved it. I signed out of my iTunes account and then held down both the power buttons until the apple appeared. When I signed back in it started downloading.

Still sounds like the mic to me. There are 2 on an iPhone 4 one on the top of the phone one under, each has a separate task. Sounds to me like your top mic is on the blink.
