Why is the form resetting?

Hi I'm making this form and when i enter a company name and
then choose a Business type the form resets all the text fields.
Any idea why and how i can fix this?
I have a <cfparam> tag at the top defining a default.

A few weeks ago, I asked the above question on why the form link shows up in 2 pages, but when the form is saved as PDF it comes up as 3 pages.
The answer I received was that I can simply select the page break and hit "delete" button or click on the trash can icon at the top right corner.
I tried to do this but, there is NO OPTION to select the page break and hit delete….
I want to combine the page on my PDF because the header takes up one entire page.
How can I do this? Can someone please help or walk me through this live?

Why is the FORM OBJECT selection not found in the Preferences/Accessibility selection?

Hello,
I am using the Dreamweaver cs6. I was wondering why the FORM OBJECT selection is not found in the Preferences/Accessibility selection?

The engineers removed it. Why? That's anybody's guess. You'll have to add them manually. Please refer to the HTML5 forms workflow video below:

Why does the form flicker?

Using fillable/saveable forms saved from http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/formspubs/t1gnrl/on-eng.html and then opened in Adobe Reader X.
Several forms are open. All documents are maximized. A variety of scales (page fit, width fit, other) were used.
All of the content entered into the form disappears for several seconds, appears for a few seconds, repeats this pattern.
In programmer-speak, this looks like a page refresh. Only the entered data disappears, not the static form.
What's going on here?

What is your Reader X version? If less than 10.1.12, update to that version. (I can see from your other topic that you are on Vista.)

Why did the form I created change after saving?

I have Adobe Acrobat XI Standard and was creating a form from a PDF. I didn't have permission so I made a copy of the form so that I wouldn't have any restrictions. I was able to edit the copy perfectly and it printed perfectly. I saved as a Reader Extended PDF so that the recipient could save and print, I emailed the form and then when I opened the attachment, part of it was all jumbled. Now the file is saved jumbled and I can't go back to the original. Is there a way I can fix this without redoing everything? How did this happen? See the bottom of the page under Insurance Requirements as a reference attached.

Why does the form close?

I've created a new form. Upon testing it and returning to the form I find that it's closed.
Is that because of my cache?
I want to be sure customers are able to access the form and complete it.

In order to change the form status to open, please follow the steps mentioned below:-
Open Adobe FormCentral- Go to the form- Distribute tab- Change the form state to- Open

Why is the security reset not sending?

I cannot get the security question reset to my email, and I have been receiving every other apple email. Why won't it send??? Someone hacked my iphone account and I have no idea what to do... I was able to change the apple id password, but I could not change the security questions that the hacker messed up.

I am dealing with a form who has multiple submit buttons:
like to load a saved search criteria:
When I load the form using this button and use reset button to reset the form; its not clearing the loaded data.
there is just one form on the JSP and html:reset is with in the scope of that form.
I am using customized tags which help me to have multiple submit buttons for one form.
Please help.
Rest is supposed to rest the entire form why isnt it doing so in case I load the values on the form

What is your definition of "reset"?
What do you want to happen when you push the reset button?
Clear all form fields?
Put the form back the way it was when you loaded the page?
Note: these two actions are NOT neccessarily the same thing...

Sorry, I, for one, refuse to provide a hack solution - why do you insist on fighting the framework instead of using it the way it should be?
Yes, I can understand - if there is a declarative way to do something, avoid writing code in a managed bean, that's fine.
But using JavaScript instead of a managed bean - you are setting yourself up for a lot of pain.
The proper, correct, standard, most common way to do this would be via a managed bean.
The hackish, misguided, least appropriate, most prone to breaking way to do this would be via JavaScript.

I had the problem on this website, I have two forms, one simple and the other more sofisticated:

(at the bottom I have a simple contact form) and
I created also a form on www.oeso.org/new-membership.html
but i didn't receive any reply so
I put the form on my website (architecturevisualdesign.ch) in a hidden form:
http://architecturevisualdesign.ch/oeso-new-membership.html
and here I receive the OESO New Membership Form Submission reply.

Emails can land to spam/junk folders so you should also check the folders.

Reset the form to Null or Reload the page using reset even after a submit

This is the scenario:
I have two button - Submit and Reset
Submit is used for validation and after validation is passed it passes it to another form to enter into database.
Bascially the reset works fine if I use it before using the submit button in the form. For instance,if on submit there is some error as the values have not passed a validation. There is a error pop up message shown and the values are retained in the field and Now if I use reset , all the values of the field do not go back to null.
I am new with form validation. I checked online and it said that reset will not clear if we have used submit and we need to use javascript to do it.
So I made reset into a button which onclick event calls the reset() function and clears the form but I am sure that the code is not right as it is not working, I tired putting a alert message in my function to reassue that the function is being called but I think it is not.

Can I use this DIR-635 to extend the WiFi network of the "Belgacom" WiFi?
To answer this question correctly, a user would need to have a DIR-635 router connected by Ethernet to a Belgacom router.
If you think about it, the chances of another user who has these two same devices configured this way and also being on an Apple support forum to see your post are about zero.
The following might work, but you will not know until you try.
Configure the DIR-635 to provide a wireless network that uses the exact same wireless network name, exact same wireless security and exact same password as the Belgacom wireless router. Make sure that the DIR-635 is configured in Bridge Mode.
Can I purchase and set-up an Apple Airport Express or Apple Airport Extreme on my level 1 (the ethernet cable running from level 2 to level 1 could plug-into either of those)
The AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme would need to be configured exactly the same way as mentioned above.
(What is the difference in the 2 -- one is about twice the price of the other…)

Why can't I save the form I created in Acrobat XI as a Reader Extended PDF?

I created and saved the document just like I have always done, with form and signature fields. When I click file>save as>reader extended, it let's me go through and name a new verison of the file, but then says "This document cannot be saved as reader enable." It gives no reason. If I can't save it as reader enabled, as I've done in the past with every single form, I'd like to know WHY so that I can fix it.

I have run into this issue at times too. If you have the original document that you used to create the form saved in a folder in Windows Explorer, try closing Windows Explorer before saving the document with reader extended properties enabled. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesnt. . .

If some items do not display green checkmarks that means that the hosting server is not configured correctly to allow the Form widgets to send email messages to the address you've specified.
Contact your web-hosting provider about the server configuration problem. Describe the items that are not marked as green in the form check page, so that they can help you set up the servers to use the correct settings.

Why do I get "The form data has expired." every time with Flash formatted CFFORM moved to CF 9.1?

We are moving a ColdFusion site from CF8 to CF9.1 and have discovered that any CFForm that was uses Flash as it's format keeps giving us the "The form data has expired." error almost every time we visit the page containing the form. We have fiddled with the timeout settings and even tried to add the various "cfheader" workarounds that some people have mentioned when getting this error, but to no avail. To be clear this works perfectly on CF8 *and* it works on our CF 9.1 QA server, but for some reason fails on the Live Server. Supposedly the Live server completely matches the QA server, but the behavior is sure different in this instance.
What could be the issues? What Apache or CF settings might I look into? Could there be some weird permissions error on the generated swf form file or some other obscure reason? I am totally in the dark and can't figure out why ColdFusion keeps thinking the form data has expired.
Please, any ideas would be welcome.

Make sure the web server settings between the QA and the Production servers are also compatible.
I suspect your suspecion about permissions is the closest to the answer. But this is a little out of my depth of expertise.
Realize that ColdFusion default behavior is to NOT generate and actual swf FILE. Rather what it does is generate the swf content in memory and directly deliver it to the client. But if the web server is configured to look for an actual file system file you may have a clash going on
