Did he make the purchases while logged into the iTunes Store account under which he redeemed the card? You can confirm the account used by selecting the track in iTunes and doing a Get Info on it (File menu). The account used to purchase the track will be shown on the Summary pane.

The fact that you can receive means you have a valid e mail address, and have established the connection to the incoming server, so all of that works. Since the send does not work, that means your outgoing server is rejecting whatever settings you used formthe outgoing set up. Try them again.
Google your particular isp, and ipad and many times you will find the exact settings needed for your isp. Or tell us here, and soneone else may be on the same isp. Some mail services need you to change a port, or have a unique name for the outgoing server.

The websites to where I can check my status at the new school I am getting ready to start, my bank's website, facebook, and the website for the mozilla support are telling me when I go there that these sites are unsecure and the firefox will not let me access these websites.

Check out why the site is untrusted (click "Technical Details to expand that section) and if this is caused by a missing intermediate certificate then see if you can install this intermediate certificate from another source.
You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.
*Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".

Why does my iPod 4th generation say the certificate for this server is invalid when trying to access iTunes? I've never had an issue until this recently.

I have never had an issue until recently that won't allow me to go onto the App Store or iTunes on my iPod touch 4th gen. It says the certificate for this server is invalid. Then it says, you might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be iTunes.apple.com which could put your confidential information at risk. How can I fix this so I can access iTunes and the App Store from my iPod again?

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Why isnt my purchased music showing in the purchased section

I got a new iphone 6 for christmas and i've been trying to sync my music from my iphone 5 for a trip, but when i go to sync music all it has is the u2 album and two other songs. and when i look up the album/songs i want to resync it says purchased but i have no way to sync it because it doesnt show up in the purchased sections.

To: rachd_1325: You need to be signed in to the iTunes Store with the same Apple ID that was used to purchase the music, apps, etc. When you are signed in to that Apple ID, the music, apps, films, etc. that were purchased with that Apple ID will appear under purchased.
Go to Settings > iTunes and App Store and make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID used to purchase the music. If not, you must sign in with that Apple ID. Then scroll down and make sure the appropriate items you desire and toggled ON.
Afterwards, go to to your iTunes Store app and you will find the music you have purchased will be shown under "Purchased".

my wife and i both have iphone 4. they were set up with 1 icloud account. we now both have separate apple id's. I would like to set up a different icloud account on my phone with my apple id and password separate from my wife.

Decide which iPhone will be keeping the current iCloud account. On the one that will be changing accounts, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing Notes with iCloud, you'll also have to email your notes to yourself so they can be recreated in the new account as they cannot be migrated.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, to un-merge the data you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want (such as deleting your wife's data from your account, and vice versa).

Why is Refresh Sheet not showing me the parameters for report?

I have a really large amount of data showing up in my report. It is taking forever (times out after 30 minutes) for my data to display. In the past, I have cancelled and then used the refresh sheet to constrict my report parameters and then rerun the report. However, today, after I select cancel, and then Refresh Sheet, the report just kicks off again and times out again without showing me my parameter list and without allowing me to specify my running parameters?
Why is this happening and how can I get my Refresh Sheet to allow me to specify values for my execution parameters.

Is this problem happening in Viewer?
If yes, I had a SR open with oracle for this problem. It was recently closed without resolution. It is a problem that they are not willing to fix. My scenario is that I open a report with multiple worksheets that are long running and with multiple input parameters. I run the report with the default parameters. Realize I didn't input the correct thing, so I cancel the report. If I cancel at 3 seconds or less, my session hangs and I have to start a new internet session. If I cancel beyond 13 seconds, the cancel takes me back to the select worksheets screen but only allows me to run the report - no changing of parameters allowed.
Message I received from Oracle:
"I have received a response on Bug 5576575 - CANNOT CHANGE THE PARAMETER VALUES AFTER CANCELLING A
REPORT IN VIEWER and internal enhancement request Bug 6007588 - NEED TO CHANGE THE PARAMETER
VALUES AFTER CANCELLING A REPORT IN VIEWER.
The bug applies to 10.1.2.54.25 also. Regarding allowing the parameters to be changed bug 6007588 the
response " in order to fix this,it would need a change in architecture on how we capture and save state
information. This is unlikely ".
It will not be possible at this time to change the parameters when cancelling a query in Viewer."
NOTE: If you read the bugs, they were logged against versions prior to 10.1.2.54 which means they should also apply to 10.1.2.50.

Why is there no option to tweak the EQ for music on the iPhone?

Apple iPhones should have this option stock standard who the **** is running this backyard operation? Why should I have to DL third party apps for something the iPhone should already have? If apple didn't bring back google maps I would have never updated to ios6.... If apple tries to play hard ball ill chuck this piece of crap in the bin and get an android phone!

I only use my gmail account for email, and only set up the icould account to shadow it for backup purposes. Are there any benefits to choosing one over the other?

I'm, not concerned with my gmail contacts as they are online already.
You are not concerned because google keeps backup of your Google Contacts. Otherwise the sync process will delete any contacts that delete from your iPhone. But Google has a "restore in an earlier time" option.
If you want to keep a second address book in iCloud you need to backup them from your computer that syncs with the iCloud account or use the Multi Edit app.

Your gmail has nothing to do with iCloud backup.
Your iCloud mail has nothing to do with iCloud backup.
The iCloud backup include your Camera Roll and all iPhone Settings.

You can sign into your account from any computer with itunes.
Your library will not be there, but you can use your account.

hi everyone.. i am just confused why everytime there is an updater for our hand held like PDA or Ipod now...??? can anyone answer me?/ if i didnt update my ipod?? what will happen?? coz it got happened to me ( not my ipod ) but my Pda and after i update it ... I have to get repaired from the customer service.. and i am so afraid about the updater sumtimes our ipod are OK before update but it spoiled after update it.... What is your current OS? If you are trying to update from iOS 5.0 to 5.0.1, this can be done under Settings > General > Software Update right from the iPad.
