Why List iconField is not rendering my icon

Question

Hi Experts,
i need to display a list of items with their icons. i can display item label but iconField is not rendering.
now the question is firstly how can i load iconField locally from assets and 2ndly from internet like below:
<mx:List xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml"
         change="{ selectItem( List(event.target).selectedItem as Item ) }"
         dataProvider="{ modelLocator.item }"
         labelField="name"
         iconField="http://wordpress.com/favicon.ico"

Actually you can try this to specify as
<mx:List iconField="myIcon">
& this myicon will be one of property in Objects of dataProvider which will contain path of image which will render on each row.
