List items not rendering on page
I have code that I'm querying a list and I am trying to get them into an accordion. I'm able to see the items when I do an alert to validate its connecting, however, the accordion and data items are not rendering. Am I missing something?
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
$(document).ready(GetAllItems());
function GetAllItems() {
$().SPServices({
operation: "GetListItems",
async: false,
listName: "Discussions",
CAMLViewFields: "<ViewFields><FieldRef Name='Title' /></ViewFields>",
completefunc: function (xData, Status) {
$(xData.responseXML).SPFilterNode("z:row").each(function() {
var liHtml = "<div class='Accordion'><div class='MenuTab'>" + $(this).attr("ows_Title") + "</div></div>";
// var liHtml = "<li>" + $(this).attr("ows_Title") + "</li>";
$("#Discussions").html(liHtml);
alert(liHtml);
</script>
<div id="Discussions"></div>
Hi,
you have to append each new element instead of assign it to the "Discussions" div, try somethis like that:
$("#Discussions").append(liHtml);

There are dozens of entries regarding "
List does not exist / The page you selected
contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user" and none of them are really SP 2013 so i thought I would create this entry.
I am getting the error above after creating a simple list with 4 columns. the list is created during a new site definition activation but when I click on my list, I get the error above. the list works if I deactivate the feature and re-activate
it. but has the error whenever the new site definition is created.
Has anybody encountered this issue on SP 2013?Hi,
For your issue, there are plenty of possible reasons offered when we search this issue online.

In SharePoint Online 2013, we can use jQuery to convert “<” to “<” and convert “>” to “>”.
The following code for your reference:
<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(function () {
$(".ms-rtestate-field").each(function(){
var $this = $(this).find("p");
if ($this.length>0) {
$this.each(function(){
$(this).html($(this).html().replace('<', '<').replace('>', '>'));
</script>
We can also use JSLink to customize the display view.

Safari not rendering a page correctly
A webpage I created in Dreamweaver uses drop down menus that are supposed to display just to the left of the link they drop from. In all other browsers they work correctly, but since the latest upgrade in Safari to 3.0.4 as a part of OS 10.4.11 on my Macbook, they are not rendering correctly. Instead they are appearing much further to the left where it's difficult to move the cursor to them before they disappear. Until I changed the color of the drop downs they were disappearing into the background. Any ideas why Safari is not rendering them correctly? I'd like to keep Safari as my primary browser, but if it won't render my own page correctly, what other pages might it be messing up? Address of the page is http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/woottonhs/ The drop downs are connected to the central column list that has small arrows beside the words. They will probably work correctly for you, but won't for me in Safari. What can I do to fix it?
Thanks,
KWolfreyHi,
I'm running 10.4.11 with Safari 3.0.4 and as far as I can see the menus seem to work just fine here.
Do you have a custom stylesheet set in Safaris advanced preferences? (Some Safari enhancer applications set one even if you didn't manually set one so double check to make sure.)
Also, do you use PithHelmet?
One quick test you can do to help narrow down things is to try Safari in another user account. This will help us to know whether your problem is local to your account or system wide. If you don't have another account you can use System Preferences -> Accounts -> \[+\] to create a test one (and \[-\] to remove it if needed)
Lastly, I doubt these [errors|http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.montgomeryschoolsmd. org%2Fschools%2Fwoottonhs%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&g roup=0] have anything to do with your problem since it seems to work fine for me, but you might want to look into them at some point. -
Manual Tabular Form - Items not rendered
Hi,
i'm trying to build a manual tabular form:
I added a blnak page with a Report Region using a SQL Query in a Classic Report:
select apex_item.text(1,"EMPNO") as "EMPNO",
apex_item.text(2,"ENAME") as "ENAME",
apex_item.text(3,"JOB") as "JOB",
apex_item.text(4,"MGR") as "MGR",
apex_item.text(5,"HIREDATE") as "HIREDATE"
from "EMP" "EMP"The items are not rendered in the report, but the HTML Text is displayed instead.
See http://tinypic.com/r/2e6bqdu/5
I played around with "Display As" in the Column Attributes - no luck.
I used this links as reference:
http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:170:2228543603318893:::::
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/tabular-form-090805.html (To build a tabular form manually:)
http://apexjscss.blogspot.com/2010/05/manual-tabular-form.html
Am i missing something ?
APEX 4.1 on 11gr2
regards,
gwThe "Display As" for each column should be "Standard Report Column".
Seems the default "Display as" for standard reports has changed:
I created your standard report in a 3.2 environment and the report defaulted the "Display As" for each column to "Standard Report Column".
I created your standard report in my own 4.0 environment and in the hosted apex.oracle.com environment and the report defaulted the "Display As" for each column to "Display as Text (escape special characters, does not save state)" -
HTML Region with source as an item not rendering HTML
HI All,
1) I have a hidden item P1_ITEM which will be populated after page submit. This item value will be a text with HTML tags
2) I have created a HTML region with source as &P1_ITEM.
However the text in HTML region is not getting rendered properly for eg;-
If the value of P1_ITEM is
*HI <BR > HOW R U <BR >
<BR> tag appears as such and is not rendered in HTML format.
What should I do to get the HTML rendering correct.
Thanks & Regards,
Vikas KrishnaHi
I created the scenario you explained and found the same issue. I don't know the reason may be some other expert can explain the it.
However as a workaround you can create a PL/SQL (anonymous block) region and in the source you can use
htp.p( :P1_ITEM );----

Auto-included link to list item not working in Workflow or email notification
I made a workflow straight from my SharePoint site--NOT from SharePoint Designer. (My computer is still running on Windows XP, so I can't download Designer until my boss upgrades me to a newer system.) When creating the workflow, you have the option to include
a link to the list item by clicking a checkbox. The links don't work in either the email notification or in the workflow properties. Extra characters are being added for some weird reason. (For example, the correct link looks like "https://www.w14b.comcast.net/sites/<yada
yada>.docx" and the links in the workflow and email look like "http://www.w14spw-po-b1.com/sites/<yada yada>.docx") I see no place to edit the URL. How do I fix the links???Hi,
Please check if the http://www.w14spw-po-b1.com/sites/ is the url of default zone of the web application where this site resides.
Here is a similar thread for your reference:

In addition, Windows XP SP3 is supported for SharePoint designer 2010:

Caml query for filtering list item not working as expected in Sharepoint hosted app
I am trying to filter list item based on particular value.
var header = "xyz";
camlQueryHeader.set_viewXml = "<view><Query><Where><Eq><FieldRef Name='Position'/>" + "<Value Type='Text'>" + header + "</Value></Eq></Where></Query></view>";
Instead of getting filtered list items, I get all the list items. What am I missing?
Note: I am creating Sharepoint hosted app using CSOM.
regards, Ritesh AnandHi,
According to the code provided, I suggest you modify the code like this:
camlQueryHeader.set_viewXml('<view><Query><Where><Eq><FieldRef Name=\'Position\'/>' + '<Value Type=\'Text\'>' + header + '</Value></Eq></Where></Query></view>');
Here is a documentation of how to use the viewXml property of SP.CamlQuery object:

BCS list data not rendering as HTML
I have a Business Data List webpart in Sharepoint Online (2013) which pulls data from a BCS List. This data contains HTML which is not rendering as HTML but the HTML text.
I've modified the data to HTML format the data, no joy (example: < img src="/)
I've modified the data to spit out the native html, no joy (example: <img src="/)
I've modified the XSLT of the webpart using the Data View Properties (when editing the webpart in Sharepoint) to output the text from the list as below, which didn't work:
<xsl:value-of select="@ArticleBody" disable-output-escaping="yes" ddwrt:nbsp-preserve="yes"/>
and also this hasn't worked:
<xsl:value-of select="@ArticleBody" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>
I'm now at a loss as to how I can get the data to show with the html text being rendered as actual HTML on pagefound, the issue - there was a section further down the XSLT file that needed the disable-output-escaping adding to (below is the original section) - once updated it worked like a charm - thanks

Create a project from list item not working if EPT has Project Plan Template
HI,
i am trying to leverage the new feature in 2013 to create a project from an idea list.
This works fine if the EPT does not have Project Plan template assigned to it. Even through workflow action "Create Project from current list item".
However if i assign a project plan template and the user creating the project is not Administrators Group member, i get an error. While doing this trough a workflow the worfklow gets suspended and i have the below message:

Any one has experienced this ?
ThxHi, RonyZ.
I think it could help.
I have experienced the same problem as you are, except "Create project" option, my managers could do it.
So, for me a solution was to set definite permissions for Workflow Initiators (I have created new group, but you can edit, including
Global permissions
New project
Open project template
Server configuration management
For category “My organization”
Open Project
Publish Project
Save Project on Project Server
Excuse me my translation, some names can be written not properly, cause I have localized SP.
In you case, I think, you should check, if you PM group has all these permissions.
And Workflow Initiator should be in group which has.
In LOGS error notifications starts with “Permission denied”, then goes account
name and then the name of permission which is left. -
Send Email with Contents of List Item (not from workflow)
End users have requested the capability to email a single list item, with all its data (by which they mean the data they see in their view), to an address to be entered on the fly. In other words, they want an option in the ECB or ribbon where
they would fill in a box with an email address (not necessarily a SharePoint user) and the contents of the selected list item would be sent out by the portals email, which is already configured.
My searching has found similar solutions involving workflows, but nothing in the way of an 'on-demand' type of process. If this is something that needs to be developed, I am not afraid to jump in, but am hoping there might be something I can leverage already
in place.
I would appreciate any ideas on this.
Echo Train Nashville TNHi Echo Train,
I would still look at using a Workflow for this. Easiest option to setup and maintain, and
you can still enter an email (or multiple emails) on demand.
For the List Workflow click on Initiation Parameters and add one with
Field name of Email for example.
Description (something like): "Please enter the email(s) you wish to send the list item information. Separate each email with a semi colon ;"
Information type: Single line of text
Default value: leave it blank
Next add a Send an Email action with the following settings:
To: Select from existing Users and Groups > Workflow Lookup for a User...
> Data source: Workflow Variables and Parameters
> Field from source: Parameter: Email
> Return field as: As String
Then setup your Subject and Body using the Fields from the Current List Item
Save the Workflow then go back into the Workflow settings and ensure that: Allow this workflow to be manually started is the only option selected.
Publish the workflow and your users should now be able to click on the Workflow with the ability to enter one or more emails.
There are other options apart from using a Workflow such as setting up an Action with some ECMA script, but much more difficult to create and maintain, which in this instance I would still opt for the Workflow solution. -
Dynamic Population of List Item Not Working
My requirement is to have 1 list item that is populated based on the value selected for a second list item. in the when-list-changed trigger of the second list item, i make a call to a procedure (code below). list_id := Find_Item('BLK_TEST.LST_TEST');
v_sql:='select column_name from sys.all_tab_columns where table_name=''testtable''';
v_rg_id := Find_Group( v_rg_name );
IF Not Id_Null(v_rg_id) THEN
DELETE_GROUP( v_rg_id ) ;
End if;
clear_list(list_id);
v_rg_id := Create_Group_From_Query( v_rg_name, v_sql ) ;
status := Populate_Group( v_rg_name );
POPULATE_LIST(list_id, v_rg_id);
POPULATE_LIST('BLK_TEST.LST_TEST', 'RGTEST'); also tried this.
if status <> 0 then
raise problem;
end if;
EXCEPTION
WHEN problem THEN
message('problem.');
WHEN others THEN
message('tooto');
END;Thanks for the response. I've tried this example too and it still doesn't like the things mentioned in previous post. In addition, it doesn't like SET_RECORD_PROPERTY(:system.cursor_record,'EMP',status,new_status); I get the same sort of error. The form compiles fine though.
Background on form:
this form was created to allow users to dynamically build an update statement. On this form are a number of list items and text boxes that are not populated from a database. So the datablock doesn't retrieve values from the database and the only updating that will be done is when the user clicks an "update" button to execute the sql statement that is built. Could this issue I'm having be related to the way i designed my datablock and items? When the user selects an item from one of the list items, the record status goes to "Changed". So I assumed my issue was because of this and thought the set_record_property statement would help...but that is generating the same error. what am i missing? if i look at the index value of the record group after create_group_from_query, it is -1. after populate_group, it is still -1. should it still be -1?? any help is greatly appreciated. -
Oracle Forms List Items :not populating list Dynamically using select Query
Hi ,
I need to create a list item. And the values to be populated in the list are from Database but I'm unable to populate from database.
Please help me out how to populate the values from database.
In Property Pallete we have Elements in List under Functional section , In this we have to manually enter the List values but we can't use any Query to Dynamically populate.
Thanks,
Kiran SangaWhen you need to fill a list with the result of a query, you'll have to do it at runtime.
Andreas has a good blogpost about this. -
Hi,
In one of the seeded pages. I can't see the LOV Input Item.
When I checked the LOV region ( from About this page link) , I can see that for that particular region the Rendered is true and inherited for the site and all other levels.
Any pointers about ,
Why the LOV item is not visible at all in the page
Thanks in advanceHi,
Check with the CO whether rendered property has been programmatically set as false.

Background Job & Spool List Recipient not receiving all pages
I have a program that is run during our nightly cycle and is scheduled in SM36 with a spool list recipient designated for the report to be delivered to the user's SAP Inbox. The job completes successfully and creates a report that is over 100 pages. The user is only receiving 10 pages in their SAP Inbox. Is this a Basis system setting? Can we changes this on a per user basis?
Thanks,
HollyHi Holly,
it's sound like the <b>SAP-Note: 329537</b>
Symptom
If a batch job creates a spool and sends it to a recipients, only the first 1000 lines are sent.
Other terms
SAPOffice, spool list recipient
Reason and Prerequisites
For performance reasons, the output sent to SAPOffice is limited to 1000 lines.
Solution
If you wish to send spools longer than 1000 lines in Releases > 4.6B, proceeed as follows:
1. Apply the support packages or correction instructions mentioned in this note.
2. Create the following two entries in table TSPOPTIONS with transaction SE16:
option: BTC_FIRSTLINE value: < desired value, probably 1>
option: BTC_LASTLINE value: < desired value, e.g. 99999>
1. Call function module RSPO_OPTION_FLUSH with value NAME = '*'.
Please note that this change may impact performance, depending on the selected line interval.
In Releases < 4.6C or if you are not able to apply the support packages or corrections, you can accomplish this with a minor code change.
In program RSBTCRTE, change the parameter sent to the function module
RSPO_SPOOLJOB_TO_OFFICE as follows:
call function 'RSPO_SPOOLJOB_TO_OFFICE'
exporting
rqident =
spo_list_id
first_line
= 1
last_line =
1000 "<<< Delete
last_line =
99999 "<<< Insert
receiver
= recipient_object
mail_title
= document_data-obj_descr
