Why my yahoo toolbar bookmark want work right?

My yahoo toolbar bookmark drops down but nothing comes in it in Mozilla Firefox.

Yahoo released a new version of their Toolbar add-on on Feb 19 to fix it for Firefox 36.

Add-ons contain a range of compatible Firefox versions, and Firefox honors the listed range by disabling the add-on if you are trying to run it on an unlisted version.
I'm sure Yahoo! will update its toolbar eventually, but not every add-on maker supports beta versions of software.

Bt Yahoo toolbar/Bookmarks

I am aware that Bookmarks has been undergoing an upgrade. When cliciking "Go to Bookmarks" a message saying this was displayed at the top of the page. Originally it said that work should be finished by 20th October 2011. Recently, it was changed to 31st October and now it has disappeared.
I thought that the work was complete as I can now add/delete bookmarks.
However, my bookmarks (in Folder view) are now out of alphabetical order and my Quick Links have disappeared.
I cannot find a way to organise my folders and trying to add a Quick Link results in an error message.
Recently I upgraded the toolbar to version 8.3.9.18 Bulid 2011.3.16.1.
Thinking that there may now be a newer version I download the toolbar again and sure enough it showed the build as 2011.6.10.1.
After removing the old version and installing the new version I checked "About BT Yahoo Toolbar".
Surprise, surprise. It still shows it as build 2011.3.16.1.
If the work on the toolbar is not yet finished fair enough but why remove the "upgrading" notice if the work is NOT yet complete?

Yahoo toolbar bookmarks missing version 36

For people missing their bookmarks on the latest version of yahoo toolbar , I actually received a response from Yahoo today.
"Hi , We are aware that some users are unable to access their bookmarks in the Yahoo Toolbar. Our engineers are working on a fix to restore this functionality as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience."
So,this is not a Firefox problem. FYI.

This has been reported before. I also saw a report that recently the Yahoo site and the Mozilla site were offering different versions, but both versions were flawed.
I don't suppose Yahoo were able to point you to any official announcement or Yahoo bug report etc

Since I have updated to the newest version 5 My Yahoo toolbar will not work or allow the settings to be loaded to toolbar. I have reinstalled the toolbar to the Version 2 didn't help

I have tried updating plugins and have tried updating the Yahoo Toolbar as a plugin and that has not fixed it yet. Why is Google Toolbar no longer working? Same for using Gmail.

Last night, I updated two add-ons (one of them was Personas, but I forget the other). Immediately after, I kept getting a stop script error. Then Google Toolbar just stopped working. The buttons disappeared or stopped working, as did the search bar. I uninstalled it and went to bed. This morning, I tried to open an e-mail in Gmail (like I've always been able to do) by clicking the mailto link, and nothing comes up. I checked and my setting is correct in the Applications tab of Firefox.
Does anyone know what's going on? I also should add that a couple of days ago, I updated Java as well. But this problem didn't come up right away. Running in safe mode and trying mailto links again does not solve the problem.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Why is yahoo toolbar not showing my buttons on pc but ARE on my laptop?

Strange - never saw any answer(s) on this, but it suddenly started working OK. I clicked into e-mail through Firefox instead of Safari (by accident) a couple of days ago, and it has worked ever since! Guess there really was a problem that Firefox fixed!

Added zynga & yahoo toolbars/i want to change their order of appearance

my home page is as i like with the exception of the addition of the 2 toolbars, zynga game bar & yahoo!
the zynga bar is above the yahoo bar and i wish it to be below.
how do i change the order of the bars?

Thank you for your suggestion, which while helpful does not change the order the address books appear anywhere except in the write window. I understand that you concur with my assessment that it is currently not possible to change the order the address books appear in. However, I wind up wasting time having to change from the default address book multiple times to the one I need to access. This is more than a minor annoyance as I will on occasion begin searching for contacts in the default address book that are not there but are in other address books and really wind up wasting a lot of time - the reason I don't just add those contacts to the default book is my contacts need to be broken up into several different address books and I cannot mix them up.

At any rate, in the past it was possible using the above mentioned link to change the position of the address books. Can you advise me how to request this functionality be made available, or provided once again. It would suit me fine if details on how to adapt the current Thunderbird release to enable this functionality via the config.editor could be referenced. Thank you.

Yahoo toolbar bookmarks don't load or result in unresponsive script

The problem with the bookmarks not loading began with Firefox version 32.
Not sure if this is a Firefox issue or a Yahoo issue.

Google Toolbar doesn't work right

When I click on the icons in Google Toolbar, nothing happens.
BTW, I also sometimes get tiny white squares when I mouse over something instead of larger windows like I used to get.

Issues with tooltips not working properly have been reported to be caused by the Google Toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)
You can check if there is an update available that fixes that issue.
You can try to uninstall and reinstall the latest GT, that has been reported to work.

I upgraded to Firefox 4 and now I can't use my yahoo toolbar, all my yahoo bookmarks are gone and I hate it! How can I get my stuff back?

First, I kept getting a notice that I should upgrade to Firefox 4. For a few days, I clicked on the link, and it said it was connecting to the server-all day long-until I clicked off of it. So, I went to the Mozilla website and downloaded the new version. My persona disappeared, my yahoo toolbar will not work, all my yahoo bookmarks disappeared and I can't get them back. Is there any way I can fix this! If not, I am going back to IE! This is stupid and frustrating!

Had the Yahoo toolbar, which the current version of Firefox has deleted. Instead I put my Yahoo toolbar links on the Firefox bookmark toolbar. Rest of question in details.

Instead of just having the icons and being able to hover over them to see what they are (in case I forgot) the Firefox toolbar shows the icon and the name- which takes up a lot of room on the tool bar and not all my icons show. Can I change this? It's annoying not to see all the icons as in the Yahoo toolbar I want to see either the icons of my shortcuts only - or I want to shorten up the tab size of the shortcuts so I can show more of them without shortening up the tabs at the top of the page.
