Final Cut Pro 6.0.6
I can't open a browser in a project that previously had one.
even hitting Apple+4 does no good.

Double click the saved project file in the Finder.
Go to File > Open Recent > Project Name.
Go to Window > Layout > Standard (or Two Up if you prefer)
One of em should work...

Why blank browser or Live View?

I am creating a home page with an interactive object using JQuery and Dreamweaver. I am following a tutorial and I know that the html code is correct. The problem comes when I add a CSS rule. When I add that rule, I cannot see the page displayed in Live View or my FireFox browser. I don't know how to troubleshoot that so I can determin why the browser is blank.
What do I need to do or what do I need to search to find the answer? Based on the steps in the tutorial, I have done everything. What could be missing from the tutorial?

The version of Muse that has in-browser editing will be available next week, but right now the only way to have access to that feature is to get the private beta. If you're a subscriber, wait until Monday, and you should get the update with in-browser editing.

Why Web browser memory full in N95

I just don't understand why the web browser always showed 'memory full please close some application'. Even if I do not open any application and it still comes up this message. Now I use opera which work fine but sometimes I may still need to use the web browser to open certain webpage. Anybody can help to fix this?

The inbuilt web browser application found in series 60 3rd edition very powerful at the same time a memory pig. The N95 is comes with many inbuilt ROM applications which are continuously eating ram, same to say other 3rd editions when they are loaded. I have to continue web app by cleaning CACHE time to time. OS 9.5 is significant because it indicates a huge change in RAM distribution. eNand chips and XIP RAM are still to come.

it seems to work when you reset the port
try this only after you've made sure that any antiviral/firewall software isnt blocking iTunes and the internet connection settings are fine
1. go to windows, accessories and right click on command prompt and run as administrator
2. type in netsh winsock reset (i know sounds ridiculous but it works type WITH SPACES) and press enter
3. Message saying "winsock reset successful now reboot your computer"
4. restart your computer, and open iTunes..backup should run much smoother and faster
5.Click on iTunes store might be working now

Why is browser performance so bad on my new iMac?

I'm using the latest generation iMac 27 inch with the dual 3.2ghz i5 processors, 8GB of memory, and 1TB HD. Over the past few days I've noticed the page rendering speed of this iMac using Safari has gotten embarassingly bad. I haven't seen problems like this since I was on dialup AOL on my original 7500/100 in 1997. Honestly, my iPhone 4 displays pages incredibly fast just using 3G, so this is really disappointing for a $2k+ computer.
I enabled the Dev menu and emptied the "caches" (not sure why there was a need for a plural there...), and the performance got worse. I've also tried Opera, OmniWeb, Firefox, Camino, and even Sea Monkey. All of them are affected to some degree. Some put the text up fairly fast, and then spend quite a bit of time loading images, with or without placeholders. Some just sit on a blank page and do nothing for several minutes. I've had quite a few default to the old Lynx-style text pages, like I had followed an old Tripod page link and then backed my way up the link into the owner's user directory.
I thought that my local net connection may have been a problem, since it was delivering about half its rated speed just a few days ago. However, I loaded up both the DSLReports and Speedtest sites and found that my connection was at a strong 10mb/sec rate. Interestingly, those two sites loaded fairly quickly.
This is happening globally, across a wide range of both Webkit and KHTML browsers. Is there a pref somewhere that needs to be adjusted?

I made sure Onyx was up-to-date and ran all the schemes you listed. That did nothing. However, reading further in your support thread gave me some ideas. I started looking into third party extensions and plugins. I recalled installing Silverlight a few days ago, for what reason I have no idea, since I trust Microsoft only marginally more than I trust Google. Which is to say, I don't trust either of them at all. So I threw that plugin into the trash.
I should have checked the performance right there, but I didn't. Right under Silverlight, you mentioned Flash. I decided to check the prefs on it, and found that it was set to allow sites to save info to my computer, and Camera/Mic and Playback were changed from "Block" to "Ask Me". I distinctly remember setting those for maximum privacy. I reset them, cleared all the files, and exited the prefs.
I just checked them again, and everything is changed back to allow Flash to have its way. Looks like I'll be uninstalling that now...
I also installed Acrobat recently, just to have an alternative to Preview. Sea Monkey opened an alert box just now, telling me to watch out for the Acrobat plugins, as they've been known to cause problems. Gotta love Adobe.
Back to the topic at hand, I think it was the Silverlight plugin that caused the slowdown. All my browsers are running at full speed now after I threw that plugin out. (Now if I could just get Safari to allow me to back up a page without re-rendering it every time...)

Why does browser.search.intab not appear to function in 8.0 ?

In Release 3.5 browser.search.intab set to 'true' causes a new tab to be opened when you do a toolbar search. That doesn't appear to be the case with 8.0.

Why does browser try to "help" me fill in documents?

I used to pull up my weekly payroll forms and just fill them in. NOW, I can't do that anymore...the browser helps me fill inthe blanks, andI spend frustrating time trying to effectually erase what the browser is guessing I'm trying to type. I just want to tab, tab along and fill out my weekly payroll forms (wh347) at the federal wage and hour division.

Because that's how it works. No such thing as a free lunch. If you don't agree you don't get your points.

Why is browser distorting images?

I have created a graphic (png) which I am placing inside a DIV tag. Looks great in design view, but when I preview in my browser (Safari) the aspect ratio seems to be changing and is being streteched. The image size and DIV size are the same, there is no padding.

I want it to call up a list of the programs that can display the file so that I can select which app to use. When I leave that app then I expect it to go back to the browser and the HTML web page I was previou. sly viewing. It has done that at various times but has stopped now. How do I get it to resume displaying the files rather than downloading them onto the same device?

There are two places to check:
1. In the Summary pane for your iPad make sure that this box is not checked;
2. In the iTunes app you may wish to go to Preferences/Devices and check this box;

Extensions for Firefox, such as the Google Toolbar, include a list of compatible Firefox versions. Currently, the Google Toolbar only goes up to Firefox 4. However, people have tested and it actually works on Firefox 5, so there are two workarounds:
(1) Edit a file to revise the range of compatible versions
(2) Install an add-on that lets you ignore the range of compatible versions and run it anyway

Why does Browse All Versions black out TimeMachine view when using Pages '09 in Mavericks?

I have just upgraded from Mountain Lion to Mavericks.
When I click File>Revert>Browse All Versions... for a Pages '09 document in Mavericks, the TimeMachine view just begins to emerge, but then suddenly the screen goes completely black. The only way I can recover (besides restarting) is to click on my second monitor. Then the typical TimeMachine view appears for a fraction of a second as it's exiting back to the current document view. I never get to see the previous versions, let alone work with them.
I can't find anyone in the community with a similar problem.
Also, I definitely do not want to upgrade to the new Pages, which is missing many of the features I use a lot.
How can I get the Browse All Versions view of a Pages '09 document to stay visible in Mavericks?
Note: I just discovered that I could solve this problem by disconnecting my second monitor, or by making it mirror my main monitor. Having multiple monitors seems to be interfering with the "Browse All Versions" function.

Yeah, all the more furstrating when you see that osx is less polished than before and Apple take so much time to fix "simple" stuffs... (i.e: particularly no love for dual displays, lot of annoying quircks).

Why my browser want to download JRE?

Applets dont work with SDK? I think it is not possible, but my applet doesn't work, browser starts downloading JRE and want to install it. Appletviewer doesn't work too. I've tried 2 options in htmlconverter use any wersion of java 1.4 or higher and use only java 1.4.2_09. Both gives this same effect. (I want to change my applications from jforms into applets, but even sample applets don't work).

Hmm.. i found that browser need plug - in, but it should be installed with SDK :/. Do I have to install it again? If I have 2 versions of java environemt, won't I have problems?
