Why pages is not seen as installed when I have it already installed in my mbp?

I'll appreciate help for this, also I have to open twice a pages file always........is there a way just to double click a pages file once and open it?

There is something incoherent.
You wrote that you have Lion and the apps in the version 9.1
To get this version of iWork you were forced to apply the updater 9.1 which apply to the entire package or you had to download the apps thru the MAS.
As the MAS doesn't identify the apps, I have some reasons to guess that you don't got them thru this channel.
But the updater 9.1 made changes in the set of FrameWorks so they must be here.
